How to disable auto update of time by Destinator

Hi,
I'm using Destinator 7 and the only problem that I have with this software is that it auto-updates the time of my Diamond, which is not accurate.
I'm in GMT+5:30 time zone, and when Destinator receives GPS signal, it changes the clock to around 30 minutes back. Also, no other time zone works fine.
I have checked all the options, and there is no option to disable this time-sync.
So if anyone has had similar problem, and managed to find the solution, please share.

Network Shwoing Wrong Location

i think i have determined that my phone network location has gone bad... =\
it showing that i am in zibo....some city in asia. well anyways has anyone experienced this problem? network showing that you are in the another country.or state or whatever.?
one theory is the 3g network...it just launched like last week in my city, jacksonville. maybe there are some quirks and bugs in the system.
one idea to try to fix is to return phone back to stock and redo my root and everything, but this is a last resort
i have flashed 4 roms to try to fix this problem. jacxhero 1.2 and 1.1 , drizzy 2.2r2, and JACMytouchSki 2.5.2. all with the same results.
it seems like the only way to get ym correct location is to turn off the first option in the location settings and turn on gps.
any help or ideas will do but it seems like i have to exhange phone thru warranty...and ugh i have to revert back to stock

I've experienced the same issue in Salinas, California. It shows me as Berlin, Berlin - Somecitybegan, Germany - and Somestrangecitinami, Brazil. (All made up city names of course because I can't reproduce the problem since I'm not there at the moment.
It's strange because if I drive down there my Weatherbug app will track me all the way there and update regularly and show me as Salinas, Ca. But after I reboot... Izaquiri, Brazil (or some place like that). Then I force an update and.... Berlin, Berlin. My other weather apps react the same way. Even some of my other apps such as all of my movie theater apps.
I've experienced the problem with JF ADP builds, Hero and Cyanogen ROMs. It has to be a NETWORK issue with the carrier. Not your phone. Perhaps the phones roaming on AT&T or something?

i just have to get into touch with my friend who has a g1....who lives in my area and see if the cellphone tower that is nearest to my g1 is buggy..
i already confirmed with another local guy and he says his displays jacksonville. so all i need to do is invite my friend over to see in her g1 is affected.

News/Genie Widget Error

I woke up this morning and checked the news widget and all of a sudden all my news was coming from the USA rather than the UK (where I live) like before?
Has anybody else come across this problem and know how to fix it?
I'm running a stock, unrooted nexus and have rebooted the phone but that didn't work, any ideas?

Once in a while my phone thinks I'm in Brazil and rebooting it didn't fix it either. It used to do it all the time the first week I had it, but now it doesn't do it very often.
Usually what fixes it for me is to go to weather settings in the settings menu, and uncheck "use my location". Then go back to the weather tab and refresh it. Finally go back and turn "use my location" back on, go back to the weather tab and let it refresh again.
If it's still showing the wrong location you can go the phone's main settings menu and select location & security. Then uncheck "use wireless networks" and "use gps satellites", then turn them back on, and it will usually refresh your location.

Another thing that changes the news is the locale... if you select English USA, you will get US-based news...

Thanks for the advice guys although nothing seems to change it no matter what settings I change and how many reboots I do!
Maybe I'll just remove it for a few days and go back to it later?

Same deal for me, (CM 5.0.4.1) locale is Australia, but it has turned to US, a load of people off another forum i frequent are reporting the same thing.

but liam, how come widget on modaco desire locale works? tested with enomther, CM and rooted stock dont work. but Desire work. weird.

yeah im in rural victoria... and yeah im notgetting australia anymore. i get US WTF lol tryed everything but nope no result

well im from perth. nothing works right down here.

I am actually surprised at how good the optus 3g reception is here, americans seem to complain about reception much more, and perth is a technological backwater

It is not working with the desire rom either, as im on alpha 14 and having the same problem in Aust.

[Q] Automatic Time Zone Issue

I was wondering if anyone else was having this issue of if i was just the lucky one. The time zone on my Moto X is being automatically set incorrectly. I live in eastern and it keeps putting me in central.
I have corrected the issue by turning off the auto setting and just selecting my time zone, but the fact that it does not work is bugging me.
I looked around and found similar issues, but only found them on other devices and they seems to be caused by various network and software issues. I have checked all the phones in the sprint store where i got the phone, with employes in the story and other users in the store, but no one else is having the issue so i do not think that its network related.
Anyone else having this issue or know of anything i could try?

Timezone getting reverted to Pacific Time Zone!?

Hi all odd problem here My R1 HD OEM 16GB (unlocked boot, rooted and twrp) keeps setting time zone back to pacific time zone on reboot (the out of box time zone btw) even if the use network time zone and use network time are turned off. still it reverts to pacific zone anyone encounter this or a fix? Also The firmware is BLU_R0011UU_v17_Generic. I'm using BLU_R0011UU_v12_Generic boot.img because I wanted magisk and could not get a stock boot.img for v17 but seems v12 works not sure if it is a reason behind the clock thing anyway if i find any other useful information I'll add it but I hope to get help to fix it soon.

Nevermind fixed it after hours of testing settings apparently the build prop value "persist.sys.timezone" doesn't get changed (idk if supposed to)
But changing it to your correct time zone fixes this.
