I rooted my HTC One (europe vodafone) a few weeks ago and I really want to go back to Stock.
I have relocked using cmds i found on here, but now the phone just boots into the bootloader as shown below.
Any ideas what to do next?
i tried using this RUU_M7_UL_JB_50_HTC_Europe_1.28.401.7_Radio_4A.13.3231.27_10.31.1131.05_release_310878_signed.exe but it failed.

You're S-ON, and on hboot 1.54 which means you can't get S-Off, to be able to run a non vodafone RUU.
EDIT: why do you need to go back to stock? Anyway, you could use one of mike's stock ROMs from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2224752

OK, so where do i get the Vodafone Ruu? Direct from Vodafone?
No, they leak if you're lucky but I don't think a Vodafone one has leaked for a while. Can you type this when connected in fastboot:
fastboot getvar all
and post what you get back (but leave out the serial number and IMEI)

You're on 2.24.161.1, there's no RUU or CWM backup as far as i know.
I think the closest to get to stock is to use mike's stock ROM.
EDIT: there is a CWM backup for 1.29.161.7, but you can't really use that because it will break your touchscreen drivers.
EDIT 2: don't know if that would work, but if you have a OTG, I read somewhere someone used it with a mouse to get the official OTA

Just went back to unlocked. a very pointless exercise on my part, seems there isnt a way to go back to stock.
This highlights the importance of taking a nandroid before doing anything
Well as stated you can buy an otg cable and upgrade with a mouse

Hello everybody!
I've got an HTC One with:
unlocked bootloader
s-off
hboot 1.55
rom ARHD 30
I wanted to get back to stock, so I flashed the Guru Reset 2.24 ROM via recovery, then flashed the stock 2.24 hboot, then lock bootloader and final s-on
Everything is ok but in bootloader I've got a red line which says:
OS-2.24.401.1 (3.57.401.500)
How can I get rid of it?
EDIT: I did it! Just flashed 1.20 firmware zip, then 1.29 one, then 2.24 one, then stock rom!
If you're S-Off, relocking and flashing with RUU is easiest.
You didn't say you flashed an older firmware. Which one do you have now? (fastboot getvar all) don't post your IMEI or Serial.
firmware is stock 2.24.401.1
I cannot flash the ruu because there's no 2.24 ruu
the red line in bootloader says: OS - 1.20.401.1 (2.24.401.1) and I want to get rid of it
i'm still unlocked and s-off
You could have when you were S-Off, I think there's a 1.29.401.x
Maybe unlock with htcdev and use beaups S-Off, then RUU, relock, S-On, update.

but i'm already s-off...
now I'm on stock 2.24 rom, with stock 2.24 hboot, unlocked and s-off and that red line says OS - 1.20.401.1 (2.24.401.1)
Sorry, confusing threads. Download and flash the 1.29 RUU and Robert's your fathers brother.
fastboot oem lock

I flashed 2.24 bootloader and 2.24 rom...
anyway if I try to flash ruu (the 1.28.401.7) it always gives me the 171 error (tried on three PCs)

what if I flash stock 1.20 bootloader and 1.29.401.13 rom and then make official ota?

dude, I'm not a noob, I know how to fix the 171 error, but still I got that error
I flashed the 1.20.401.1 firmware and now the red line in the bootloader has gone. Now the only thing I need is to run the 1.20.401.1 ruu and relock everything, my phone name in device list in windows is "My HTC" for both adb and fastboot (that driver is the solution to the 171 error)

Like I said you when you pm'ed me, please be more clear about your issue.... Is it bootlooping? stuck in bootloader? stuck on htc logo when booting?
What you did before? The issue appeared by itself? you flashed something wrong?
---------- Post added at 01:07 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:05 PM ----------
however, there is a ruu for your phone version that you could use to reset it to 100% stock and latest version.
You can download it from here
Note that using the ruu will wipe everything on your phone including personal/media files.

Starts in bootloader.

so try the ruu i have linked above.
you will have to re-lock the bootloader before if its unlocked
Code:
fastboot oem lock
then launch the ruu.exe (linked in my above post) and follow instruction. Restoring using the ruu can tanke up to 20 min and first boot can take some time too.
I will

You can flash this ruu with s-on if your bootloader is locked or re-locked. Your actual firmware version installed on the phone must also be at least 6.xx.707.x but not newer than 7.21.707.5. Your CID and MID must be compatible with this RUU.

7.21.707.5 is for MID PN0714000 / CID HTC__044
Use the "fastboot getvar all" command, this will output all your phone info. If the CID is HTC__044, the MID PN0714000 and the version-main: at least 6.xx.707.5 or maximum 7.21.707.5 then you can flash this ruu.

Error 155= You're trying to flash a RUU with an unlocked bootloader. If your phone is S-ON, like yours, you must have a locked or re-locked bootloader to flash a RUU. You can relock the BL using "fastboot oem lock" command.
Make sure you have the right RUU version for your phone before. RUU version must be same or newer than you firmware version. Your phone CID and MID must be compatible for the RUU version you want to use. If you're unsure, post the output of "fastboot getvar all" (hide your imei and serialno before posting).

You must have at least hboot 1.57 to flash a 7.xx.xxx.x RUU. try to find a 6.xx.502.x or 5.xx.502.x version (must be a signed version since your phone is s-on)
