That's the one hand mode. Swiping your finger horizontally from the outside edge towards the middle and back in one motion shrinks the screen. Takes practice.

Ah ok.. seems the way I have it would favor the right hand... can it be moved to the left side?

Nevermind I figured it out... depends on which side you swipe from
Just so you know someone said with this setting on it greatly reduces benchmark scores
Also long press on the shrunken screen allows you to move it around.

Is there a way to have all the apps line up? I would like them all bottom weighted so the text is inline. I know how to edit the .xmls if someone can just point me in the right direction.

If I find out, I'll let you know.....please do the same
We need a high end finish version of this. Can we get an accessory manufacturer's attention? Sorry for the low quality, but this was all I could find on Google - the full size versions are missing.

I don't know yet, I haven't held one but I did find the Galaxy Nexus to be near the upper bounds of usability with one hand.
Ever try a flygrip? Can stick it to any case in a position that works for you. Have one on my gs3 and my girl has one on her note 1. They are pricey but pretty awesome.

I have been meaning to ask this, but haven't figured out how to replicate this screen until now. If you cover up the sensors when the screen is locked you get a purple animating screen with your messages, missed calls, and battery notification. I managed to get a screen shot of this. How do you turn this off, or better yet, what is it?
I apologize with my many questions lately; I just am really trying to explore and understand this amazing device. If this has been asked before, my I apologize again.

Thanks for the reply. It's Quick Glance located under air gesture.
Hello everyone, first, I want to thank you for reading my problem. This is the first time it happens to me, for some reason my screen is all messed-up, my problem is that I tried to press any letter, number or app and shows my touch on the screen away from my finger, look at the pics I attached, look how far is my finger from the dot, under developers I activated show touch. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Ok, I found my answer and here it is. It's a hidden menu, just dial *#2663*# and it would take you to the hidden menu and just hit TSP FW UPDATE and you're good to go.

It's been occuring for a while but I thought it was perhaps my screen saver or lack of increased touch sensitivity option enabled. But it isn't.
In the attached image, the area circuled requires sometimes two attempts to acknowledge input for swiping up or down. Does this in browser , Tapatalk and most apps. However, works ok in the service test menu. Would appreciate your thoughts. I even used my other finger on my left hand but same symptoms.

No, I'm not using it. Ran more tests , I think it's software related, more specifically some apps do this and not all, it's all good I guess.
