Wanted to share with you a flashable zip I made which deletes the stock ICS LG Browser (which in my opinion sucks) and replaces it with google's AOSP ics browser. Its lighter, has a darker UI and I only tried it for a few hours but I can say its quite snappy and smooth.
I'll atach two flashables, AOSP and LG (in case you want to return to that crappy LG stuff... lol)

But dude the stock LGBrowser is fast and nice!I think its more suitable to upload a full black version only?Just Sayin

Oh well... I hate LG and all the crappy software he makes
So I prefer to keep my phone as close to stock google's ics as possible.
Anyways I assure you this is even faster and nicer ^^

There are many system apps you can get from an old CM9 unofficial build. They work on IZS, I've done it before (I did it on IZS v0.4).
Sms, gallery, android browser, calculator, calendar (I think), and I can't remember more xD

On IZS v0.4 yes, it works fine (I don't know if it works on IZS v1.1, because I no longer use IZS)
But pop-up notification is only on JB.

I tried searching for the answer but I didn't get any.
So is it possible to root my Xperia Z and put Touchwiz?

Eww. There is no touchwiz rom. But you can always flash ported TW apps and use the TW Theme if you have are running a rom with a theme chooser and mimic the UI.

this is one thing that bugs me when you buy the companies flagship model why dont people buy the one they want ... not for example for the z and want crappywiz... and the s3 everyone wanted the z ui just buy the phone you want with the ui you want .... unless you want the device just for the hardware not the software...

well to be honest, its not hard to search the forum or look and see there is no touchwiz due to framework issues etc, the closest you will get is changing the launcher and using a touchwiz based theme

Revolt rom. There is touch wiz launcher included.

you can get the launcher. but as far as i know you can't get the whole rom. maybe you can find a few ported apps

Transparent Walkman widget?

I'd like to know how to, or have someone do it. The walkman widget is perfect aside from having a semi solid background. All my widgets are clear, how can I make this one match?

What do you mean correctly with transparent? The cover transparent and the background more transparent?
Because the widget is a bit transparent, you see it in the pic..

Thanks for the reply. By transparent I mean that the album art work and buttons, text etc have no background. So they appear to be floating so to speak. No border around them that's darker.
I have a light background and it looks really out of place to have a shaded border area behind/around the buttons and such on the widget.

So you can do the cover pic a bit transparent but if the song has a cover you need to do the other cover transparent.. Hope you understand what I mean^^

The buttons are OK, it's just the background. I tried myself but couldn't find anything to alter it.

Hey what carrier are you using in the US? ATT? I use t-monile and can't show LTE but rather it shows H+ for LTE.

Can you guys tell the widgets as well please for us?

Hi guys !
I was just browsing in the Android Apps and Games forum when I found this amazing port of HTC One M8 apps.
This is not my work, I just wanted to share since the launcher works perfectly on our device. Just flashV10 in your custom recovery and you'll enjoy Blinkfeed

nvm, a reboot fixed it after i added htc weather to accounts.

It give me FC I donno why , may be cuz I am using ART machine not dalvik , BTW I am using beanstalk , iodak v9.95

the app itself crashes, but you can set it to show on blinkfeed homescreen.

this is what i use, nova + blinkfeed togeather. it's working decent enough, feeds load, twitter integration works, and even weather (on blinkfeed) works too :good:
