I have a C6902, bought in Vietnam. I can find any correct version of firmware for my divice so I download and flash .534 TW into my device. It start normally but the camera now can't start again.
How can I fix this problem?

Try clearing data etc, or reflash the ROM.
Thanks. Cleared data, cache, dalvik cache and the camera still crashed.
I noticed the camera version is still 1.0. Is this right? I thought .253 updates camera, too. Can someone send me the new camera app so that I can verify it? Thank you

After I used Bin4ry's root and upgraded back to 2.257 my camera stopped working. Any way to undo or fix this? I really want to use the camara. I did not unlock the bootloader(I think).
Thanks in advance!

How did you root your Xperia SP on lock bootloader?
Delete data of album and camera app and reboot. If that doesnt work factory reset and if that doesnt work reflash

Someone at DoomKernel thread also have this problem. I'm not quite sure why.

Same here with iHackers 4.1
I had the same issue on iHackers 4.1.
Does anyone have a way to hide the update notifications?

Go to Settings -> Apps -> All -> Update Centre -> Force stop. The notification might appear again the next time that the app is launched.

Hi, i've got the same problem, i have just re-flash with Flashtool the firmawre " C6903_14.3.A.0.757_Stripped.ftf " and its never ask me again,
if that help you.
please explain further what you do, are you re-flash all firmware, or only "C6903_14.3.A.0.757_Stripped.ftf", do you wipe data or only wipe cache/dalvik cache?

That's normal, it's because PCC checks the customization stored in the TA instead of the one in the rom.

HI, only the "Stripped.ftf" file no wipe data, or cahe/dalvik.
Hi,
I have rooted my Sony Xperia Z3 Compact yesterday. I have also installed Xposed framework and GravityBox. I'm using pre-rooted D5803_23.4.A.1.232_R5C_Central Europe 1 Generic_1288-7915 FTF.
My problem is that I can't send and receive SMS message on stock Conversations app. When I send message, I get floating popup 'Can't send message'. In another apps like Hangouts etc, everything works fine.
Does anyone know what can I do, beside changing sms app to another?
UPDATE:
Only Hangouts allows me to send and receive sms
I have the same issue, only Hangouts works as an SMS app, nothing else... any solutions?

I almost always have this problem when I flash clean pre-rooted FW and start using the phone for the first time.
Simple solution - hard reset using settings. The problem immediately disappears

Where is that option? Are you talking about factory resetting the phone?
I can't find a hard reset option in any settings, you have to be more specific please :crying:

Yes, writing hard reset I meant factory resetting the phone, I just couldn't find a proper words
Oh boy this is messed up.
Will I loose root after that?
And will I have to do it every time I update my phone with a pre-rooted FW?
Did you managed to fix this issue with factory reset? Did you lost root access?

It was an issue on the very first version of MM that the phone (APN) settings weren't updating, but it's been fixed long ago.
The latest version is now 23.5.A.1.238
