Hi,
Was wondering if anyone has tried or knows if any of these methods from this thread would work on the Z1? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2167089
Thanks
Ryan

Very Unique Item! I´m prepared for version 2.
lol...
Just found this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2451873 so I apologize if I have created an unnecessary thread.
The above mentioned thread has some useful info that I wasn't sure of like the pin polarity of the XZ1 being the same as the XZ (+ on top and - at the bottom).
bogdan wst your dock is looking good, thanks for the pics:good:
Yes. The polarity is the same for the Z1:
+ is to the top side of the phone;
- is to the bottom side of the phone.

These are the ones currently on my G1. All were regular wallpapers that I resized, only needing slight touching up on a couple of 'em. The FF7 one is badass on the G1.
Hmmm. . . they don't seem as crisp when uploaded to XDA. I've added links for those that want the higher quality ones.

LOL, I would hope they wouldn't ban you. You could just say your passing along info that you read. And yessir rev I like that. And I doubt we could change our name and keep our stats. But maybe we need a new section, the BS corner.
But I wanna change my name and I am a rev(thank you internet) oh and they already have an off topic thread, but maybe just maybe if we have our own than maybe we will stop hijacking threads..........prob not

As long as there's a dumb question I think the thread will get hi jacked. The mods need to thank us. It's because of us the ridiculous questions have been dwindling down.
YOUR WELCOME
Good point, people think twice about clicking new thread when they see what follows. Wait we hijack good questions too, oh well, we are entertaining others too, so they keep coming back
So to the mods, I'll say it in lithuanian

Ok well since you guys won't help him I will.
The quickest way to root your G1: First you need a car battery and some jumper cables. Take your USB cable and splice into it, wire it to the positive jumper cable, now ground the other end onto a metal surface. Next thing is to press the power+camera+home+menu+back buttons as fast as you can, while doing so start humming the theme to MASH and have a friend tickle the battery cover of your G1. Do that for a good 17 minutes. Now unhook everything and rub one out, then wipe the ejaculate onto your screen and try making a smiley face. Last step, and most important......kill a cat while your power the phone on, not a kitten though and preferably a black cat as they work the best.
If you did it all right you will now have superhuman capabilities and your mother will cry when she sleeps at night.
Wow, that exactly how I rooted mine but I failed the first time cause I used a kitten, maybe you should write the guide codani, you might make a better one than me, don't forget to reserve the first 3 posts for the future

i used a small child to root my phone does that mean i will lose my root when i flash a rom
and now some advice for the OP. do NOT root your phone. you have no clue what you are doing and i do not want to see a thread 2 days from now that says "help i think i bricked my phone" with your name under it. honestly...
and reverend would be a glorious name. kind of like the reverend gridlock32404 jackson
Actually I had a youtube tutorial before but I had to remove it becase the ASPCA was sending me death threats.
damn I thought this one had great potential.
It does have great potential, and david thanks for finally chiming in, good to hear from you, I forgot to throw jackson in the name there, I am still waiting for help with my guide

I would be disappointed to get that phone if advertised as "Good to Excellent Condition"

A Big Credit and Thanks to Touchxperience.
www.touchxperience.com.
10x for this let's try it
Big time thanx mate, just tried them out and they work like a charme
Keep up the great work
thank you mate, very useful application
Its a shame they are not toggles, but they do add some quick access to the settings. Something that WP7 is lacking.
Thank you !!! Great work & very useful for day-2day use.
hey cool, iw ill give it a try.. looks good
You really should credit the developer and link his website in first post, as he is a member of xda and is a very highly regarded developer here. These were created by xda member schaps... real name is Julien Schapman and his website is www.touchxperience.com.
Very nice, thank you!
Can you make it in a Hub, as an Wireless Manager?

He's not the developer... read the post above yours.

I agree with the above comments.....TouchExperience is the developer; not me!
Read carefully guys!

Touchxperience (not touchexperience) is one of the devs creations and the name of his website. The developer is julien schapman, or goes by the name schaps here on xda. You should at least credit him in the first post, because it is misleading and looks like you're taking credit.
Schaps is one of the most important developers here from the winmo days... he's up there with cotulla with his skills. I know he will play an important part in the dev community for wp7... already is actually with touchexplorer, advance config and registry editor. We couldn't do most of what we can do with wp7 without his free apps.

Writing his name on my post and title means he is the developer and not me!
wow very useful...
Is there a one page app with all the toggles?
Sent from my Windows Phone 7 using Board Express
need this exactly, but dont like the icons that much.
usefull.
thanks dude.. great job...
Nice ! , thank you.
How about mango support? Possible?
I'm using these on NODO and Mango and both versions these short cuts don't work. When pinned to start and pressed, it starts to launch then goes to black screen then eventually times out and goes back to home screen without turning on or off anything. Anything else to do besides installing them?
Hi there !
I saw some videos, and it looks like quite a job to swap in a battery...
Any tips how not to crack the display pulling it out, or specific tips that the videos don't tell you, from those who've done it ?

Have you never heard of JerryRigEverything?
The second line of my post implies that I did view videos... But that is not the purpose of the question.
The purpose of the question is to get more specific inputs regarding this device specifically.
You can view a video on how to replace an engine, but then someone who replaced the engine you are trying to replace will have better input.

My post was referring to the third line with the question mark. An engines and engine, as demonstrated by JRE. Not sure what you're struggling with or think is being hidden in the videos.
