I remember when i had a htc one x on cyanogenmod, they included this option in the settings menu to prevent that. Ihope some dev here could point us a system file we could edit to disable this anoying thing! Or maybe its possible to do via a mod for Xposed framework?

Go to settings-about_software version and tap on the build number 7 times to enable Dev settings. Then go to develop settings and click "never sleep while charging"

[Q] How do I prevent the phone from going to sleep when plugged in

Sounds stupid, but the option that is usually under Developer for "Stay Awake when plugged in" isn't there.
Anybody know?
It was removed. Root, install a Rom, and it's under display or power settings I believe

The app "Keep Screen On" works quite well for me: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nbondarchuk.android.keepscn&hl=en

Trickdroid restored this option. It looks like HTC dropped the ball on the .13 update and haven't returned the option yet.

Do you know if it is a single tweak, is just part of a zip with many tweaks? In other words, can just this single tweak be applied alone?

Well you can't have that at least not on stock ROM. The beats audio feature only adds bit more bass so it's only useful with the headset anyway.

I've been looking for a solution like this for ages now, even the mighty tasker can't automate it. Will probably need to be implemented into a Rom by a custom dev.
For a while I had a tasker setting which would open settings as soon as I plugged in a headset but it got rather annoying

Why does Sense 5.5 battery icon swich?

Just an unimportant random question. Since updating to latest ota I notice that my battery icon on the status bar sometimes switches from being in a laying down horizontal position to an upright vertical position. Just really weird I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed and might know the purpose to this. I am on latest viper but I believe I also saw it happen on stock rom.

Never saw that myself when using insertcoin. Could it be a mod or something you enabled in viper?

To solve this problem apply a battery theme from Venom Hub.
Go to Venom Hub -> Themes for Status bar -> Battery

Top picture is normal position and bottop picture is upright. It only happens once in a while randomly and it doesn't last long it switches back minutes after.

This is a known bug of Viperone and happens when the battery reaches 40 or 41%.
As said earlier: apply battery theme from venom hub. A correct stock battery without this bug can be found here.
Cool stuff I didn't rralize it was an actual ViperOne bug. Thanks.
