Hi all... i was in a club before some hours... and i take some nice videos... nice quality BUT the sound is HORRIBLE..... really horrible....when bass plays, the sound is SO BAD....... cant hear anything at my PC speakers... does anyone else have same issues ? i will try to give a sample to see what i mean
here u can see what i mean... download the video & listen! ( dont get horny please from theese chicks )
Download Link
maybe this problem is because i have the rom RomAur v3.1 from auras76 and i have enabled the - Volume Boost ( Increase internal/external speaker and headphone volume) ?????????????? i just make a thought because i see that when volume is at MAX the ringtone is not so good like official volume level... sound is deformed with this mod.... maybe the reason of that bad sound ?

Well this is a simple tweak just the audio boost as a cab overwrites the audiopara3.csv and audiopara3_xc.csv to two new ones that are tweaked to full boost. Hope you like your new boosted sound.
anyone try this already?
Is it going to make the sound louder?
It has the audiopara3_xc.csv from optxperiabeta2 and audiopara3.csv edited by me to a full boost, only thing it does it overwrites this files, if you are not shure, make a backup of this two files first.
Very good !! I will try and amazing ... it boots sound in my Xperia X1.
Now i am use ROM : Touch X NUT, 6.1 !!!
Thank you again !!
Some one can test, if some one afraid, can backup 2 file Owner Topic said ( C:/Windows/ ) and can try to install --> Boots about 50% sound !!!
( I'm in Vietnam so English is bad )
i d installed optxperiabeta2. which had boosted the sound a lot. now i intslled this, sounded no louder than before for me anyways
works, thanks. Anyway its enough for me
will this work for Xperia x2? can someone check?
Hey it work for xperia x1i, install it since 28/3. Not problem for me.
X1 hardware will be having problem if I install?
read somewhere the optxperia did some damage to X1 hardware. Is it true ?

hi mate,
I've been using optxperiabeta2 for almost 1 year now and I never experience any hardware problem with it.
will this boost in call sound (headphone and loudspeaker) or just ringing sound....
hey works absolutely fine. thanks, this has really boosted my audio.
infact it is fantastic since the audioboost has happened with no effect to clarity. the clarity remains good if not better.
And the question again: what will this boost? Phone volume, ring volume, speaker volume, loudspeaker volume?
Thanks a lot! it works on my X1!
you should cafefully to use this tool!
when you use this tooth, i gave you a advise about problem of speaker. You shouldn't turn your volumn to 100%, it can make your speaker break down. it's my own experience.
I've used optxperiabeta2 before but it has also caused my vibrate to go crazy, vibrating like hell. So i'm not sure if there was some issue with my phone just the program itself. So i've never used it since that incident. But definitely makes the volume louder though.
Its realy perfect

Hi Guys
Been Fed up with HTC ringtone sound and been playing around and found this to improve it a bit
On the Home Screen
Get the volume down right up to level 5 from 30
Go to ringtone and sound settings
Choose your ringtone
And put the Volume up to full (30)
I seem to get slightly better Sound Now
EDIT : Most of the built in ringtones are not of high volume so you will have to go through all of them and find the loudest ones to your Taste
EDIT 2 : Also Because the speaker is Behind the Phone the sound tends to be low but if the phone is upside down you can hear much better ( and get you screen get scratched), so this is apparently a hardware fault as well.
Have been using the 'Old Phone' untill now, moved on to 'Tribe' Ringtone
Please give feedback if it improves your Ringtone sound

i've tried but no improvements
This is a sw bug , not a hw problem , because when you play with a xbox game , you can ear the sound so clean and high level !
Htc , move your ass !!!!!!
why the volume from a video which you recorded with the phone is so low??? I tried all cams mods but the same result....
And while we are talking about the video volumes, is there a way to define the mic volume in the recordings?
The volume you use recording a person talk is completely different than the volume you use when you go see a live concert...
conclusion: Bad sound quality! )

Try this
Go to settings > call settings > set equalizer to bright , disable voice enhancement.
and then hear the in call volume, u will be surprised
PS. After disabling the mic noise suppression, mic quality increases.

It's a little late to ask this but, could you solve your low call volume problem?
I have the same low volume trouble with my Xperia Go while making phone calls. The phone is good and still operable after years but i always had call problems. The in-call volume is too low, i can't hear the person clearly especially in noisy places. We used Sony Ericsson K750, w800 phones in the past and they also had low volume in calls. And i see that there are still some Sony users which complain about this same problem like us.
If you solved this issue, could you please let me know?
Thanks in advance. :good:
I don't know what XZ you guys have, but mine is too loud and I didn't do anything to it related to sound. In fact I'm quite annoyed that the phone is too loud when I have a conversation, thus everyone around me being able to hear. I always have to lower the volume to the minimum and it's still too damn loud.
Is there anything that can lower the volume, not make it go up??
I've even disabled the MusicFX and Audio Settings but it's still too loud..

Really?
I almost thougt that it was a Sony characteristic, to limit the volume to some certain level which is low, when compared to other brands (maybe for avoiding to damage the ears?). When i search the web with "sony xperia low call volume" parameters, i see there are lots of complaints about different phones from Sony (NOT just XperiaZ).
Do we have faulty phones, or do you have really sensitive ears? Can you please compare the sound level with different brand phones also?

mine is XZ C6603 and in-call volume is average. not too low or too loud (using bright equalizer on call setting)
have you try to re flash stock firmware? if yes, maybe you have faulty phone

if you are using viper4android, you can set max gain in playback gain control

You can use it. It makes louder sound. Do carefully so it doesn't hurt your ears. Try 2x gain at first

I was not talking about headphone sound but speakers.. i'm actually happy with the sound of headphone ! Just speakers (when using no headphone) sometime i don't hear the notification sound or the ringtone .. cause the speaker sound is weak.. That's why i was thinking about something that can make it louder .. and maybe Viper4android will do the job ?

This make me have a serious question about what's wrong with mi3 quality control, bro. For me, the ringtone and notif sound is little too loud, even when I set the volume level just 3 stops from zero. But now you are saying that it's weak .
Are you sure it's all about volume? or maybe something else? Like bugs that make no notif or ringtone sometimes?
About v4a, I just tried it, and yes, I can confirm that It can make ringtone louder, by activate 'Speaker optimization' and 'extra loud ( max gain) option' :good:
