I dont think its possible if you dont have proffesional electrionics knowledge so you dont lose your phone.
Also you must find the same glass and maybe you have to find the same camera module because the glass may not be removable.
To answer the OP: Yes I believe it is possible however it will be a hard task to do and with the missing tools an knowledge you could serious damage your device. So if it is damaged go to a local phonestore and ask them to fix it

Akshay00smart, I'm not sure about the glass part but you can buy a replacement back piece that I think includes the camera glass.
http://stellatech.com/site_stellatech/articles.php?cid=1095
The item number is GH98-16686A,R price is €10.87
I would send the company an email and ask to make sure.
Your kind of answer is indeed much better.
Man...relax

I do have an issue with the scratched camera glass. However, changing the cover won't solve it since the cover doesn't include the glass.
OK,
Here are two possible parts from one website.
https://www.globaldirectparts.com/U...alaxy-S-i9000-Back-Housing-p/smsng6087205.htm
http://www.globaldirectparts.com/Samsung-S-i9000-Camera-Lens-p/smsng6087120.htm
The problem is that the site doesn't sell to individuals, they do wholesale only.
Hope some can point to the right place.
Cheers.

i think a service cetre would replace the glass relatively cheaply and it is something you could ask for a price on over the phone, and they would probably fix while you wait or at most within 1 or 2 days

Hmm, Not entirely sure but if you look at the second photo it shows the glass part.

Yep, internal back cover does include the glass. However, the above first photo includes only the external back cover which doesn't include the glass.
i know this reply will not benefit the op but just want to keep this on record for someone else who might stuble here from google,
today i removed my old 5230's frame and tried to replace it with i9000's (it was of the same size) but when i tore the piece down, i came to know that the "frame" was attachedc to the body, like this
(the silver covering cane be removed) m talking about the "scratched part".. so no way to remove i shattered it to pieces and kept my old frame on the camera and tried to assemble the device, it dint assemble properly, and thus has a slight opening at the top right side(above the power button)... other things are working fine, the camera is no longer blurry (although i still need to test it in sunlight, will do it tommmo and report back) .. so in short , dont do it unless necessary, replace it with another back body, it'l save your hassle ...

Hey Guys,
I think I broke my camera irreparably. Is there anyway to replace it without replacing the phone?
Sure! No problem. On Youtube you'll find some nice disassembly videos to follow. You find a cheap cam on eBay, e.g. this one
I exchanged the front facing cam on my O2x a while ago... please don't ask how I broke it.....
Good luck!

You must take the same camera o2x has. If you install a different camera sensor, your phone is unable to use it because you'll need a new kernel with new drivers implemented into it.

How did you break a front facing cam?!
Yeah, well. After being a little careless to my phone I had to change my LCD (it got some distorion). While I was opening the phone up I accidentally poked to much around the edges and somehow reached to far in and snapped the flex-cable connecting the front facing cam.
It is Really needed to be very gentle while opening it and use the right tools. In my case I should have had a large beer in my tool-kit....
Btw, thx for asking
So, be careful and good luck!
Are you repairing you teeth also by yourself insted going to a doctor?

Hello guys,
Quick question :
The cam lens on my One looks like it has some digital prints on the inside of the glass.
Best way I can describe it. Here's a picture of it, it's the best I could get. If you look carefully you can see the inside of the lens looks like there is something on the inside, like it's stuck on the glass.

So my question is, do you guys have the same problem ?
Not that my phone doesn't take good pictures, but who knows. I already has a small part of dust (best guess) stuck in the screen on the lower right corner...I wonder if this could be something related to it.

That looks like a finger print to me :-/
If that's on the inside, you should get it changed.
P.
I see that this issue had been raised on the sprint htc one forums with no solution so I thought I'd try here. Recently dust has started getting behind the glass infront of the front facing camera. Its getting to the point where this is making my pictures noticably worse. Does anyone else have any experience or advice with this?

Removing the dust is the best advice I can think of. Better to ask an expert to do it for you, disassembling this phone is a pain.

Yeah, that would obviously be best! I really have no idea how it go in there though, there's no damage to the glass or around the front camera. I did sent by rear camera to be replaced because of the purple tint but I don't think that caused it.
So, I just dropped my phone, and the glass covering the rear camera is broken now. The camera still works, but there is some noticeable blurring of the picture that the phone takes now. Is anyone aware of whether or not motorola(or anyone else for that matter) can replace this glass for me?
AFAIK, they can fix pretty much anything. But not under warranty.
Looks pretty simple to do: https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Motorola+Moto+X+2nd+Generation+Camera+Lens+Replacement/40708
I would imagine Motorola might charge a fair amount to do it but if you could find the spare part and do it yourself or find someone who can....
