Anyone gotten voxer to work on your rooted gear? I can get the persons message live through my speaker on my watch, but wondering how to respond by using the gear?

samsung do not cooperate with google with software. hangout is a pretty new communicator, although i haven't tried on gear, i can bet it will not work. at least not out of the box, this is something that has to come with new firmware for our gears..

Just tells you have a message. Still have to read it on the phone

Has anyone with a Galaxy S5 (using the stock Messaging app) had a problem with responding to SMS text messages from their watch? For me, I'm given the option to reply, but as soon as I do, it just shows the green circle with the check mark and says replied. No voice typing prompt ever comes up. Has anyone found a workaround? I really don't want to use Hangouts for SMS, or any other texting app for that matter, because the stock app integrates very nicely with the S-View cover window on the phone. Any thoughts? Suggestions? Workarounds?

I have the exact same problem, using it with my GS5... The only work around i found is to use google now using your voice to reply...

I just received my Gear Live today! I am just get used to it after coming from a Gear 1. I dont seem to be getting incoming call alerts. Is that a setting somewhere that I need to setup?

It worked for me straight out of the box. Are all your other notifications working?
Just got this watch yesterday from Amazon to replace my Sony SW2.
So far so good, but I've good one weird problem. When using the watch to accept an incoming call, the phone (Note4 Edge) answers the call, but immediately starts play on my music app. At 1st it would launch my Subsonic app, but I uninstalled that app and now it launches my music player app.
Strange problem, wondering if anyone else is experiencing this. I don't think I'll be using the function since you still have to use your phone, I just noticed it while testing out the features.
Also, is there any way to have weather as one of the apps on the watch? Saying "OK, Google., then saying Weather" launches the card fine, just wish i could just select a menu item to start the Weather card.

Not tried answering calls, but I use Weather Timeline. Great app on the phone and watch!
While receiving messages with Google messenger the gear won't get notifications while note 4 does.
Using the stock messages app the gear gets notifications no problem. But it's an ugly app and I don't want to use it.
Messenger used to work fine on the note 3 with the gear getting all notifications while running lollipop. ?
Any input will be appreciated.
