Hi Guys,
Only just taken delivery of the TD2 and wondering what you feel are the best apps to show it off so far?
The ones that come with it.
Hi guys and gals. I own an Xperia X1 and am sick and tired of not having decent apps.
Did anyone tried Android on this phone? Does it work well?
ATM I have HTC Diamond Rom and it's fine, I can check my mail, update my FB/Twitter status, it has a nice EQ embedded with the player, and many features.
The question is: "Is it worth it installing Android on this phone?"
Thanks in advance and have a nice friday!
Before you ask the obvious question ("Why are you asking this?"), I need the Soundcloud App. I really do.

Thanks John!
I'll back up just in case it blows up and give it a try. The slight overclocking seems nice and the HW accelleration and GPS support too.
Hi I'm hopefully getting a Samsung Galaxy S and i just wanted to know what the best CM7 Rom is and the best Kernel to go with it. If anyone can give me a good idea I would really appreciate it. Thank you

i never answer these questions as a rule, but insanity cm with glitch kernel is a cracker apart from battery...good enough if you can charge nightly.....and camera....which is getting better...i use miui camera for the video and zomfx for stills.....this is purely my opinion though, i recommend experimenting if you are a flash addict!
I recommend stay where you ate and you won't get much trouble and search for some more stable rom's.
I've just bought a galaxy gear 1 and noticed that its rooted with a custom OS on it,
My question is it work having the custom SO on it or stick to he original? i intend just using it as a extension of my phone to be honest as the screen is a little to small for anything else to be fair.

it depends, do you really don't plan on routing it and installing android apps on it ? do you prefer to have lots of apps developped specially for this device or do you prefer to have access to the playstore ?
there is also the battery concern, most people say that tizen has a better battery life, but it's not always true as I managed to have better battery performance (more than 3 days on a full charge) with android on it.
So yes, I think most people will tell you what I'll say.
If you want to be able to do anything with your watch and install on the go android apps on it, stick with stock os and maybe upgrabe to null_'s rom.
If you want to stay up to date, have a better support from samsung and maybe have a better battery life jump to tizen
oh and on tizen you get the ability to play music via bluetooth lol
EDIT: my bad, seems you already are on Null_'s rom, don't pay attention to what I say about upgrading to null_ since you obviously are... or are you under tizen ? you may want to start to tell us that
OK well Nul seams to be on it right now but i dont know how to get past the pairing screen as i am having trouble with it on (i have the samsung gear software on my htc one m8, to be honest i am looking for it be a extension of the phone, notices, quick replys, camera, maybe some play stuff like games and utilities, and maybe play music from it.
i don't mind a slight reduction in battery life over proformace as the charge time is a hour and since its a li-on battery part charging is ok as well
i guess since im using a HTC and not a samsung access to the play store is prefered.
so with this info what would you recommend
Hello people,
I just receive my note 8 (N950F/DS) and I want to improve it.
Mostly my focus would be a better battery life, stable phone, longer lasting phone and the possibility to disable add when browsing internet or when using apps.
I checked a few thread concerning rom and Kernel. Although I did that, I didn't really understand which one is better than another. They use kind of technical term to me. Also I'm not sure if I should go for a Rom, a kernel or both?
AFAIK Kernel is like the hearth of the phone firmware? and ROM is more focused on the outside look, the extra possibility and the rest?
Sorry for noob questions, I'm just looking for some help.
It will be my pleasure to give feedback once I tried the new ROM/Kernel and it will surely help new people!
Thx in advance
There is no such thing as best rom or kernel !
Read the threads and try the roms yourself !
There's plenty of info. Google and xda are your friends.

If you are a light user as you say and you haven't done it before, I suggest you stick to stock. At least for the time being.
Yes, stick to Stock and flashing kernel or Rom will will trip Knox and so you need to say goodbye to Samsung Pay , Secure Folder
Agree with others. If you just received the phone, then suggest you take a month to read up here and get used to it before deciding on whether to modify.
