ok, i faund a widget for phone calls, but before flashing gaapps that buttons already exist and works fine...

I am having Milestone India, running on custom Cynogenmod rom
My problem is volume UP button is not operating. This creates problem even to enter openrecovery.
Any solutions?
Or else can someone suggest how to increase incall volume without using volume button?
That will also solve my problem.

Well, looks like you could use a NO button method of loading AOR.

Try to flash the 90.78 Bootloader on your MS.
With that you have to press X + Powerbutton to enter the Recoverymode...

You can use AudioManager, its on the market...

The problem is that his Milestone is unable to enter the update menu after recovery mode.

it doesn't work anymore!
Everytime I reboot and press X,
it seems normal to enter recovery mode but

I now found the cause:
Androidani Openrecovery 3.3 doesn't work on my phone
I changed G.O.T 2.0 and now it works.
Maybe I need to download it again.
Yes you did not have VR patched in.
GOT has the VR patch built in.
Anyway finally I flashed TheFroyoMOD-v2.9.0 by using OpenRecovery_v1_46_for CM.

The problem was Volume UP rocker button was not working, I got it repaired from Moto service station, Thanks a lot for all the wonderful options, and suggestions.

I have a big problem with all jellybeen roms
Phone was showing black screen without responses to home button or power button, then prolonged pressing of power button would bring back the bootup logo (so i guess it was off). I encountered this issue with all jellybeen roms

no when i off the screen and try to unlock the phone it showing black screen and must be press power button a lot until screen working or pressing long to restart
If youre on a safe kernel, do a full wipe.. Maybe that fixes it..
yes that or go back to stock rom and check if the power button is behaving ok
and then install again from scratch...

full wipe + format system when i install any jellybeen rom with safe kernal
and i go back to stock rom and power button was ok but when i installed any JB rom again i face this problem
have not come across many such issues and that too common issues on jb.
have u tried installing latest jb roms like pa or cream&cookies or slimbean etc?

i installed Pa & cm10 & super nexus& slimben and all of them i face this problem

ive searched all, but can't find where to set the microphone level. the mic is not sensitive enough.
Especially when i use REDPHONE; i have to to speak close and loud to the mic, so he can hear me.
Normal calls seem to be fine.
I've installed AlsaMixer, but which is the setting for the microphone(s)?

I have the same problem with my i9305 since two weeks. At phone calls the mic volume is OK, but other apps using the microphone the mic volume is very low. I've tested with WhatsApp, Video Camera, several Voice recorders and others. Since the Video Camera uses both microphones for Stereo recording and both audio channels are to quite, a hardware problem can be excluded. With the Headset Mic the volume is at all apps OK.
Using the Engineering Mode (*#*#3646633#*#*) did not work with my phone, maybe because it did not have stock rom, but OMNIROM 4.4.4 Nightly.
I'm thinking about flashing stock rom to my device to enter the Engineering Mode or fix the problem with a Factory Reset.
Is the someone, who fixed this problem? Or any ideas?

Thank you for your hint, but I decided to go back to stock rom - and I am glad now to have a smartphone with no problems!
I made the following steps:
- Flashing stock rom (4.4.4) with Odin -> mic volume OK
- Flashing TWRP with Odin -> mic volume OK
- Restore Omnirom with TWRP -> mic volume NOT OK
- Factory reset with TWRP
- Install Omnirom with TWRP -> mic volume NOT OK
- Flashing stock rom (4.4.4) with Odin -> mic volume OK
- Flashing TWRP with Odin -> mic volume OK
- Root and Restore my system with Titanium Backup -> mic volume OK and I am happy with a smartphone that is working!

I flashed resurrection rom on my moto g 2014 successfully but the touchscreen stopped functioning. Then again i flashed back stock rom and now my phone is stuck in 'bootloader unlocked' screen and even the touch is not working. I can open the recovery menu but cant do anything coz touch is not working. I am stuck please someone help guys

Go to fastboot mode by press and holding power and vol down and and reflash stock lollipop rom with correct commands and it should work ..!

i did that but stuck in bootloader. I cannot wipe data by recovery as touch is not working. and i ried to flask stock again bt it is also not installing.. is it a kernel problem??

Nope not a kernel problem ..
Make sure you are entering correct commands and you're flashing the correct zip for your model and try again it shouldn't happen coz it is stock their will be no problem..!! Make sure you're flashing the correct zip ...
In every custom rom (oreo),after i use it for a while, the ring and notification volume is gone.It can be fixed by a reboot but it will back again and again . what should i do :crying:
