I have some problems with OpenVPN in KitKat 4.4 & ARHD 40.3.
It connects and disconnect and seems to loop like this. After some googling I found out it seems to be a problem with KitKat itself, not necessarily the OpenVPN software.
Has anyone found some sort of solution to this problem? Or is there a different recommended VPN-app I should use?

Howdy folks,
I received the HTC One (801n) earlier today. It arrived with 4.1.2.
Explored it for a few minutes, although I did not set it up fully - assuming I'd have to do it all over again following a 4.2.x update (I am coming from the HTC Desire, btw).
The WiFi was connecting without issues, then. I was also able to download the official 4.2.2 update from HTC servers.
The update was executed successfully - and surprisingly - I did not have to set-up the device from scratch. I then happened to notice that the phone would not connect to the WiFi network. I have my old Desire beside me (running a 4.2.2 custom ROM) and it has never faced those issues.
For a moment, I thought it was a hardware defect - but I recalled that the update from 4.1.2 was done OTA on the same WiFi network. I am, therefore, guessing it is a 4.2.2 bug.
Unfortunately, Google searches did not show any such issue specific to the One. However, there were 4.2.2-and-WiFi related issues in the One X.
I have tried a few full-resets in vain. Could someone please offer an insight?
Thanks, in advance, for your time/help.

Try removing the network in wifi settings and then reconnecting from new, it's not a issue with 4.2.2 causing this.
If that fails then after a base update (4.1.2 to 4.2.2) a factory reset is sometimes required after the update but this will mean having to set everything up again.

Thank you for the response. Did that, mate.
I guess you mean - 'forget' network and reconnect afresh? Yep, tried that. And did the factory reset too - to no avail.
Searched threads here, guess this is a first - in the meanwhile, I'll check out other Google results which indicated similar issues with the One X. Never owned one before, but shouldn't be all that different.
Hi All,
My problem is, once updating from 3.2 to 4.0.4, my wireless keeps dropping every minute or so. Incredibly frustrating as it will refresh almost any app that's currently open (even offline apps like my epub reader).
I've found this doesn't seem to be isolated to the 8.9 tablet ICS ROM, nor even Samsung's updates. However every solution I've found and tried doesn't seem to work. The main culprit seems to be the wpa_supplicant file (in /system/bin). I've tried the following:
Updating (reverting) the wpa_supplicant file to the 3.2 version as it was last known working copy
Updating the wpa_supplicant file with an S3 version that claims to cure the fix (yes I know this was in desperation)
Updating the wpa_supplicant.conf file to remove the
The problem with all of these is that I know they aren't aren't very likely to work (and didn't). All files were either flashed with CWM or moved into the kernal with Root Explorer + superuser.
My tab is an Australia Telstra GT-P7320T.
Currently I'm running Arclic's ICS ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1923371&highlight=7320) , but have also tried the stock ICS ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1901664) and that had the same issue.
Never been a poster on the forums but used lots and always found an answer - unfortunately I haven't this time.
Surely others that have applied these ROM's have had the same issues. Has anyone been able to solve them? Any help much appreciated.
Have you tried flashing back to the original gb rom? If you still have issues there, it may be hardware related.
Yeah, I've tried going back to the original Telstra Australia honeycomb ROM and wifi works fine. Definitely firmware related.
Hi. I started having a problem with my wifi recently after updating to 4.3. Wifi turn itself on and off and sometime stay "turning on" state or "error". I have tried to return to stock ROM 4.2.2 (and Radio) and different version (4.2.2 and 4.3), but wifi issue remain the same.
Anyone has experienced this? Any sugguestion for the fix?
It looks a lot like a HARDWARE issue after i tried several ROMs and Ratios.
Thanks
Have you the wifi_ctrl_wake and wifi_rx_wake processes that never stop running? Because i have the same problem with the arhd 30, i was thinking about downgrade to a 4.2.2 ROM...
I have an HTC One m7, rooted, s-off and flashed with GPE using twrp 2.7.0.0
I tried both 4.4.2 and 4.4.4 KitKat and they both have the same issue with bluetooth; after connecting to my car, or my headset, it randomly crashes with the alert message "Bluetooth Share has stopped working". Is there any fix to this? would flashing my phone with CM11 resolve this issue? Or should I just go back to my backup of stock 4.1.2?
Anyone?
Jesus come on XDA. You guys are usually very helpful. Am I the only one experiencing this issue?
Hi guys, i have sw2 and xperia t running stock rom 4.3, when my phone and sw2 are connected wifi on my phone doesnt work, when i turn off bluetooth wifi works again, how can i fix it i even did factory reset, i would like to stay on this rom, any solution?
There's no solution for this, I had the same problem like you and I tried everything to fix that problem. Nothing helped so I moved to 4.4 and now I'm on 5.0.2, no such problems
What did you try? 4.3 is running decent so i wouldnt like to change it i was thinking about downgrading to 4.1 but its kinda mehh, what rom did you install, was it buggy?
