First off, null_ is amazing - f0mey is definitely getting a fee beers Thank you for freeing me from Gear Manager.
My issue: when adding widgets to Widgetlocker I get a "Settings has stopped" error. I can only add the widget that come with Widgetlocker successfully. Adding widgets to Nova is no problem. I have tried making nova a system app as suggested in another thread to no avail. I believe other people have used WL successfully.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hey guys, a few days ago, I updated from Cyanogen5.07 T5 to 5.07 DS. After updating, I noticed more than a few of my apps weren't showing up under Settings>Applications. Weird, I know.
So to fix this, I wiped, reflashed. While re-installing the apps I had on my phone, I tried to download a very particular app: Flipclock medium. After various searches through market for "Flipclock", "clock", "flip", and "medium", I still could not find the app.
I tried a variation of the app, retro flip clock widget, but the clock freezes constantly and stops moving. I would have to remove the widget and replace it again. Obviously this isn't a viable solution.
Additional notes:
I have tried Weather Widgets Donate and Weather Widgets (yr.no). Neither one will keep from freezing. I also know about the 4x2 flipclock widgets that have shown up on market but I do not like the look of these and do not wish to bother trying them.
In conclusion:
Does anyone know if this clock freezing is an issue with CM 5.07 DS?
Does anyone know if it's just me that can't see flipclock medium on market?
Does anyone have an existing APK of flipclock medium (it's a free app)?
Please answer asap, thank you.
Anyone? Really looking for help on this..
Also tried Beautiful Widgets which worked for a while but for no reason, started to freeze for me again. Also generated a lot of lag after a while, as well as showing a force close notification even when there were no Beautiful widgets present on screens.

Hey bud, hope I'm not too late.
While applying a default dpi to the native (the ones listed) launcher works, applying a custom dpi will cause the native home launcher to fail or FC. One way to get around to this is to install another home launcher prior to changing the dpi (custom). I experimented with DPI Changer Utility (Free via Market. Also requires Root, but that's not an issue). My current DPI is now set and saved to 132 (custom), which was not initially compatible with the native launcher. Hope this helps.
If I helped please push the thanks button! Please and thank you bro!!

As Mr Quip said, you'll need to install another launcher before you change your dpi settings and reboot. I use ADW launcher - got it during the 10 cent sale but it's worth the full price. I use it on my phone and my touchpad so a pretty good deal for me. Here's what you do:
Install ADW launcher and get it working then change the dpi, reboot and you should have ADW up and running.
Good luck!

Look. It happened to me and drove me crazy. I was about to brick my new mobile phone. In my case it was the “Moon call log” icon on the home screen. Believe it or not when I remove the icon the error message no more appears when I restart the mobile phone. Then again when I place it (the icon on home screen) the annoying error message “Unfortunately, Launcher has stopped” will comeback again. In your case it could be any icon or widget.
I solved the problem by uninstalling the application and installing it back from Play Store unlike what I did before by installing it from the .apk file.
Regards,
I'm on 902 and running Eclipse 2.2, and before every rom install, I reset to factory, wipe cache, format system and wipe dalvik.
I've reinstalled a couple times and have not gotten rid of this problem. Sometimes, upon unlocking the phone, the "eclipse launcher" crashes. And if it doesn't completely crash, the phone behaves very slow and does some really strange things... until the launcher eventually crashes... I contacted the developer with a logcat I created and he confirmed the launcher was crashing. He suggested I install a third party launcher to see if it fixes the problem. I installed ADW launcher EX. Well it fixed the problem, but my battery life has taken a bit of hit. I'd prefer to run the stock launcher, but not sure what else to try. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!
Well uninstalled ADW Launcher EX. Battery life is back to normal. Eclipse launcher still crashing after pattern security unlock. Not always, but every 3 or 4 unlocks, usually after charging my phone overnight.
I too am/was having the force close, and the super slow screen transition. I think its an issue with the eclipse launcher itself for bionic, because a friend of mine does not have this issue with eclipse on his Razr.
I have found a small file size home launcher called Nemus launcher. Very very snappy, great options, so far, problem free while on eclipse, give it a try!

Finally someone else with the same issue! Glad I am not alone. I will try out this nemus launcher. Thanks for the suggestion!
Solved the Eclipse launcher crash problem. The default launcher for Eclipse has been conflicting with Beautiful Widget's Home Widget. I have been running the default launcher with no Home Widget for 5 days, no crashes. Although the Home Widget used to work with no conflicts, I assume that after I changed the weather refresh variable to refresh upon "phone wake", that the problem started happening. (I never associated this at the time). I have not tested the Home Widget with a different refresh variable yet. But for now am happy that I am running the default launcher and have exceptional battery life again!
Both third party launchers I tried fixed the above crash problem (while running home widget), but drained more battery. Glad to be back to default.
Edit: This ended up not fixing the problem. Spoke too soon...

I use beautiful widgets too, but dont have it set on wake. Still not using eclipse launcher though, the Nemus launcher has been perfect as far as performance, customization and battery usage. no complaints here..
Glad you figured out the issue though!
Yea so I jinxed myself. Launcher crashed this morning. I'll try a few other things, will report back if I can get a week of stability I guess.
I sideloaded Nova Launcher yesterday and was not happy with how it was performing. It would not allow me to use the stock digital clock widget saying "Problem loading Widget" when I went to add it to my home screen.
I am running 4.4.2 w/ Malladus 2.0.2
Thanks.
EDIT: I got the app to uninstall and i reinstalled it through Play. However, I still cannot get the clock Widget to work so Please if someone could help me with that. That would be great.
It also will not work in Apex or Google Now. It seems to be a widget problem.

The LG widgets only work on the LG Home, no way around that.
I just noticed my lockscreen weather widget is not there anymore. Enabling additional information weather in the settings changes nothing. I am rooted on the stock rom. I may have unintentionally deleted the app that runs that widget while trying to clean up the clutter installed from the factory. Can anyone tell me what the app (or apps) is called that runs the lockscreen so I can check? Or maybe provide the stock apk for it? Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks!

AccuWeather 2014. Apk and weather daemon. Apk
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using XDA Free mobile app
Thanks for the quick reply. I installed both those apps again and the weather still does not appear on the lockscreen. I have rebooted and toggled the additional information setting but still nothing. Any other ideas on how to get it back?

Just figured it out. I had go locker installed. It was disabled completely but after uninstalling it the weather came right back instantly.
