Is anyone else getting really bad WiFi connectivity? Mine seems to randomly drop out for no reason and then come back at its own discretion. Tested this out using 2 different routers on 2 separate networks.
I have no problems, which version are u useing the newest? Maybe a hardware problem, seeing I don't have problems.
Same it FIXED my WiFi bugs...
The only WiFi glitches I have are from ics

Since we don't have an N73G dev forum yet, I suggest that in this thread we post links to useful threads in the dev forum dealing with the 3G model.
no one, has one yet and for us to release a rom for it we need the gsm binary pulled from a device
A few of us have Nexus 3G's as of today.
That said, I've about as much clue how to pull a GSM binary off the thing as I have reading ancient mandarin.
Nonetheless there will be 3G specific dev threads. Even if it's only tweaks, guides etc. Some folks have their N73Gs in hand already.
There are plenty of devices out there that have plenty of dev threads even under incomplete circumstances.
Regarding the binaries to pull - would they be present in the stock N73G image Google posted?

Not for now.
However at some point in the future it may be possible to release universal ROMs that work on both. Just as there are universal GSM/CDMA ROMs available for Galaxy Nexus.
Some of the mods may work on both equally, but only if they do not touch any of the radio related files (and I'm sure a lot of files have radio info).

All that's needed is to build the ROM with the ril packages Google will provide once the 3g source files are posted if they haven't already,

Google has already stated that the cellular radio components are NOT going to be released to AOSP as long as licensing issues remain. Without source for the cellular stack, it's a lot more challenging.

You will find now a thread about Nexus 7 3G "nakasig" in N7 Android development, and you will find all the links which concern the N7 3G.
[Index] All for NEXUS 7 - "nakasig" - (GSM/HSPA+)
and I open another thread for questions, discussions and solutions on the N7 3G => NEXUS 7-"nakasig"-(GSM/HSPA+) - For all Your Jelly Bean Discussions, Problems and Solutions
It's for you and with your help
Just force stop and clear data under apps for Google services framework then go check for update. Took 8 times for me but works on 3g and 3g WiFi models

You should have put this in general not the development section.

I originally moved this, but after looking at the other 4.2.2 threads, i see this is already covered there, so i am going to close this, and defer to preexisting threads..

LTE is a non-issue as this isn't a device sold with LTE support.
The sensors is from flashing the radio/baseband onto 4.2.1 builds. People will have to deal with it, or flash up to 4.2.2
These are not "problems" from Google as they are people causing it to themselves.

From stock software and hardware left in from a sister device. It is not supported by Google and as such is a non-issue.
For sensors flash this http://www.mediafire.com/?079z7ky9nomb9i8 it fixed it

LTE wasn't approved by the FCC. Therefore, it wasn't mentioned as a feature of the phone.
The reason we could enable LTE was due to an oversight by LG or Google.
This update patches that oversight.
The phone is not suppose to carry LTE in first place. The fact that it works for some people whose carriers are on band 4 is bonus.
And issues, well those come with almost all phones. No point in defending any phone for things like this, but sadly things like this is part of almost any purchase of any thing. Forum like XDA is to get help, so you will get threads here about the problems. You will get far fewer threads which are there to praise the phone on daily basis. If you go to any device section here on XDA, you will get similar threads with issues some of the purchasers face. Those people are here to discuss those. THat sometimes paints the picture that phone is riddled with issues that everyone will face. It is hardly the case.
But if you still want to see enthusiastic threads, go checkout Indian nexus 4 thread That will show you cheerful side of things
Every hardware usually has some weak points, and hardware does break down. With the sheer number of devices sold, there will always be few that break down or are faulty. And you will find large number of those people finding their way here in search of solution. Relax, it is same with almost every phone.

There was a backdoor to get LTE if your provider had LTE on the AWS bands, the N4 was not approved or licensed to be used as an LTE device, it was just a matter of time before Google attempted to disable it. As for the other issues, it's incompatibilities between the new 4.2.2 stuff and 4.2.1 custom ROMs, this is why it's a bad idea to mix and match things like this, they aren't Google issues, all this stuff works just fine on stock 4.2.2 except LTE but that's not supposed to work.
If I understand correctly the radio issues happens only when you flash then on 4.2.1 correct? Then that's your problem, flash the full 4.2.2 and then if it's an issue that's a problem. Anyway I'm on paranoid android 4.2.2 and see no issues.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
Oh okay that clears a lot of things up then.
For some reason I thought people were already on 4.2.2 and having the issues didn't know they were still on 4.2.1 trying to flash the radio.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
I have a feeling the biggest reason they pushed this 4.2.2 update was to take care of the lte so there wasn't any big lawsuit ...
But then again they really didn't because people can just revert to the baseband before...lol

Wait. So you personally haven't updated and haven't experienced any issues and yet you started a complaint thread?
Seriously?

Hey guys! Fellow nexus 4 users.. Lollipops gonna be out on November 3.. Post what changes are you expecting for your nexus 4.. Better camera drivers... Better battery optimization etc. Etc.

I know we all are very much excited for the update but there is no need to start another thread for lollipop discussion when we already have one.

At November 3 the Nexus devices that only have Wi-Fi connection will get Android 5.0 and the devices with celluar network will be updated later.
