Dear all,
I just purchased a HTC One Dual Sim. On the box it says it is an 802w and the id is M7CDUG. So it would seem like a Chinese version BUT it is in fact official Polish (European) distribution. The OS on this device is 2.41.402.3 HBOOT 2.27.00.
Any idea how to S-OFF / Root this device?
Regards
Jan

Thank you. Although I am not clear whether I should proceed given clsA message above. Although I thought it is meant for Indian 802w. So if there is no RUN for the 402 system (only an update from 401), there is indeed no going back?

I used moonshine for unlock, so you better be off in a rumrunner thread to get this resolved.

HI,
temproot works on my device. I was wondering if I could install the su binaries within the ADB session that has root privileges after running temproot. Do you think it's possible?
I have teh supersu.zip tried to foloow the isntal script and do everything manually like making directories, copying files chmod, etc but still cannot get root...
Is there a way to have root without unlocking the bootloader and installing a custom recovery?
My problem is that I don't the the factory image of my phone: 2.41.402.3 ((( So I don't want to touch the recovery yet....

Hi,
Let me start from the beginning. I had already been taken with s-off with Revon, but had to remove it so that the phone had to go to the guarantees. Phone I updated with the OTA to 4.2.2 with hboot 1.54. My question is that how to unlock hboot 1.54 with HTCdev whether I will be able to upload an older version of hboot? Then do s-off with Revon?
PL:

You can't downgrade your hboot now without S-Off and you can't get S-Off
There is no S-OFF yet for the 1.54 hboot. Your only option is to wait patiently.

Is it possible in any way to upload custom rom?
You don't need s-off to flash a recovery, root, or use a custom ROM. All you need for these are an unlocked boot loader, which can be done through htcdev.
AT&T HTC One
Baadnewz's InsertCoin 3.0-14
Flar2's Bulletproof 4.3

But you need S-Off for update Firmware. After a Custom rom becomes update to new base and new firmware is needed you are unlucky with HBOOT 1.54 and S-On because you can not flash ROM update.

No. Carrier/network/sim lock will not be removed by flashing a generic rom. The only way to unlock our phone is with an unlock code, either from your carrier or an online seller.
Generic software can be flashed to the T-Mobile Z.

It is a software restriction, but the sim lock status is kept in a secure area that cannot be edited without hard bricking the phone (the TA partition). Because of this, there is no unofficial way to sim unlock the phone.

Try with another.SIM maybe the problem is with your SIM card, if not you can go to Sprint and talk about it or try factory reset if you have official Rom

A few pages back, steps to enable gpay.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/magisk-google-pay-gms-17-1-22-pie-t3929950/page31
Is your bootloader unlocked or are you using a custom ROM, the official MIUI China ROM or the official MIUI Global Developer ROM? Any one of these will prevent Google Pay from working.
If you are having problems adding a specific card that could be an issue with the issuer. I've had problems adding my Chase card in the past when Chase already thought the card was activated on my phone (so I would never get an activation text from Chase) and also when an internal limit was reached in Chase computers regarding the number of times my card could be added to Google Pay. In both cases other cards worked fine but I needed to contact Chase customer service to get their card to work.
I need help. I unlocked the bootloader of my Xperia xz3 and lost access to Google pay and other services. I wish it was possible to root my phone or block the bootloader again to get everything back to the way it was before. The twrp I'm trying to install does not seem to be compatible with version 52.1.A.3.20 from my cell phone. Does anyone have a compatible twrp?

I'll summarize ... I already have the bootloader unlocked, so I need the following tutorials and files ... Xperia xz3 drivers for the ADB fastboot (H8416) (Akatsuki) TWRP compatible with Xperia xz3, (I don't know if you can install either) an updated tutorial on how to do this safely and Magisk in zip to flash when installing TWRP. With all this, my problems are over because the SafeNet verification will be positive and I will be able to use Google pay again. Here is my thanks for all the attention and it was trusting you that I marked you to help me with all this!
