I looked all around and the only thing missing to my gingerbread experience on my samsung galaxy S is the nexus S screen off animation ; the one that the screen turns off like an old television
I was hoping if the devs can either port it or make the animation for the galaxy S?
Any help will be appriciated!
yesss!!! i`d liek that on my galaxy s
on darkys' 9.2 ressurection rom u get the option to add nexus s boot animation so im assuming what you ask for is not too far away..
Looks like on sgs2 is working well. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1362354
Wondering if it is possible on sgs1.
Hi,
I'm trying to find out the same thing....
... I'm searching for this animation for almost a week, but no luck...
...port from Galaxy Note to SGS2 works perfect and that is the real rotate animation transition, not like one which is on i9000 ICS roms.... (take a look an images what is happening when rotating on ics) ... it's eye faker ....
... is there any rom for i9000 which can perform real rotate animation or is there a way to port this feature from Galaxy S3 or Note...
I think that this is very good feature and i9000 would look way much better, it's worth to try this to work on our evergreen i9000...

Thanks and regards

Hi I made a Battlefield 3 boot animation for Android devices.
It has sound.I made it flashable.
It is currently only for devices with 240x400 or 480x800 screen.
Please try and give me your replies.
LINKlease PM me because XDA doesnt allow me to post outside links.Or email me at [email protected]
I cannot guarantee that this will work on all devices.

I'm kinda bored with my current boot animation so I've been looking for a new one. But thing is, there aren't that many around which are fully compatible for the galaxy tab 10.1. So if anybody finds some, I'd be thankful if you share.
Hi All
AndrMatr here.
This thread is here for all of those who want the perfect boot animation for their device but don't have time to find it or make it themselves. I am 'opening up shop' for the first time and am willing to take requests for personal boot animations.
The best part is: It's FREE!
So, if you want a highly personalized boot animation, post it here and I will see what I can do with the tools that I have.
Post your resolution as well!
PM me about it!
Hello! Is it possible to get the xperia boot animation to flash or install like the themes in cyanogen mod Roms?

Custom cm12 animation for nexus 5 xxhdpi will be great. Thank you ?
Nexus 5 Lollipop powered by ElementalX...
Hello. I will take you up on your offer... I just got my Nexus 6 a few days ago and would to see a different boot animation. I have yet to see a custom Nexus 6 animation. I'm thinking of a black background with "Nexus 6" or "Motorola Nexus 6". I'll leave the rest up to you. The screen resolution is 2,560 by 1,440. I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with. Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it. If you have any questions, let me know.
I've been trying to make one from this gif at 1440x2560 (resizing the original gif to 1200px and padding the rest) but haven't had any luck getting it to work (posted about it here).

Well you shouldn't have to flash CM themes... Just use a boot animation installer app...

I'm trying to upload it to XDA and it keeps breaking XDA XD so I'll just pm it to you or whatever I'll get it to you, let me know how good it is or if you need the framerate adjusted
I hope you have 45 MB in your system partition
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6Qo4xLF16dSMDVabTFjS2g4S3c/view?usp=sharing
I can opt for a smaller resolution but with PNG the file size is going to be huge

I have plenty of room, but the animation doesn't display. I see the LG logo until my launcher loads; it's the same problem I have when trying to create it myself (I've made several attempts).

Uh oh. I don't know what's going on, then.
Can you create a boot animation of One Piece? The short clip played before and after the break?
Thanks in advance. BTW resolution is 854*480.

I have no idea what "one piece" is. Please be more detailed. I can't help without details! And by the way, welcome to XDA! We look forward to seeing what questions you have or info you have to offer!

Oh. I don't watch anime, I have college and work, and on top of that I make custom boot animations. Try to think of something else that'll be a little easier, like a simple logo that I can make explode and rebuild itself or a SMALL gif you like. I can make any logo cycle its colors through the rainbow... I made the UPS logo spin around...
Try this one.

Try placing it in /system/media.
Then try in /data/local.
See what happens.
If it works, Thanks! me. If not, well, I tried and I believe it's Thanks!-worthy.

No prob. How about creating an animation in which a bubble explodes and "Android" comes out of the explosion? Make it many bubbles floating around, and just before the boot happens let the text come out of the explosion. Get me?
