[Q] Reply problem - HTC Desire C

Why can not reply to the topic? (eldoradosb, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:..)

You needed more posts

Are you using phone or pc?
Does the topic show a padlock before you enter the thread?
Are you posting a link? And have you passed the "10 posts mark" to post links?
I've had problems before, simply had to come back at a later date possibly to do with site maintenance.

Super one click root
Hey all,
I just saw a youtube video on a root method called super one click.
Would that work for my nexus one 2.2.1 frg83d???
Please help.
I really want a easy root for my phone.
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
Yes it's really easy. I rooted my phone using that just 2 days ago. Only things you need to do is download the android sdk download the driver and the adb file. The unlockr.com has a tutorial on how to set up your driver. Then after that you connect your phone and download that super one click and use it. Good luck

thanks.
So you sure I could use it for frg83d?

The link I gave you in your other post suggested reading the wiki. The wiki will tell you what methods still work for FRG83D...
Yes, it will work...

Hey I just want to know what is the easyest way to root a nexus one frg83d.
I already have the unlocked padlock.
Please explain here and don't give some link. Thanks.

Good grief Charlie Brown - how many times do you need to ask the same question?
Since your bootloader is unlocked, just fastboot flashort a custom recovery, then use to install a custom ROM or rooted stock ROM...

Put some effort into searching.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=705460
Also, see the Wiki Sticky thread above yours...
Can't believe he'd come in here to say "explain here and don't give links".
What does he expect? Pretty much if he can't handle figuring it out from the wiki or guides out there, he shouldn't be rooting at all.

Hi there. Welcome to the Internet. Let me explain to you how a forum works.
1) People make posts to contribute to the overall knowledge bank of the forum.
2) The posts stick around - forever. No information is ever lost.
3) If someone has an issue that isn't previously covered by another post, they post a new post looking for clarification. That post (and the posts that answer the post) also stick around forever.
4) Before you (the user) make a new post, you are expected to look around to see if your question has been answered before. This keeps the forum from being cluttered with redundant posts, and makes the useful posts easier to find.
5) You will have to click links, read multiple posts, and do a little bit of thinking and processing on your own to use what you have learned.
Please, search. Even easier, just look at the stickied threads at the top of the board. They contain links to information that covers everything you need. No one here is going to hold your hand every step of the way, at least not until you put forth some effort of your own - like the two minutes of effort to look around the board and find the information you need. If you aren't willing to put forth that effort, and expect someone to hold your hand, you really do not have any business trying to hack your device. You'll just break it, and won't know how to fix it.

First link. Now, that took approximately 4 seconds. For future reference, check out the links in my signature too.
Not closed yet, if any more threads appear, I'll just close them and warn you.
Seriously, again?
Stop it.

Arg. Can't post question

I'm trying to post my question in the section for my specific phone.
Try posting itt the same way you posted this =P
Just in that section though
Max. (Desire z)
The post has NO links in it, yet it won't LET me post. It keeps
saying that "New users cannot post outside links."

Let's try this again... it has NO links in it.
I've tried posting it here, too. I can't figure out what's making
the forum think it has a hotlink in it.
I'm not seeing anything that even remotely resembles link code. This is frustrating.
Make sure you have no characters immediately after a period, I'm not sure what their validation rules are but I've had that problem on other forums. eg ".foo"
So what exactly are you trying to post? Some text? Send it to me as a pm and I will take a look.
It's saying I need 8 posts now... so after this one, we'll see if it works.
I'm just posting my specs for my phone to find out how to Root it.

XDA Market App

Does anyone know how to get this forum to show on XDA market app? It doesn't show on the forum index because its under legacy devices I believe.
There doesn't appear to be a solution. I tried posting a couple requests in the general board under the xda app thread, but no luck.
What I do is post to any thread I am interested in, so they show up in the app.
I still miss new threads that pop up, until I get online with my laptop.

[Q] XDA app bug

for some reason, on more than one rom, I can't view pages of threads which contain voting polls.
Best example is the MIUI 2.3 rom in the development section, if I try to open page 1 it just sits at processing, any thread with a vote poll on it does that.
Lol Id also like this solved since im the OP of the MIUI thread and Cant get to it either, btw you posted in the wrong section O:...I think...idk
Same here. Sometimes it just force closes.

+1 search on xda app is 110% useless
The search is practically non existant, mt biggest gripe is the no way to thank people, get thanked or even f'ing see how many times a person had been thanked.
Having the same problem. Happens on a lot of threads for me. The MIUI thread is a repeatable bug every time I hit double arrow to get to the OP. Tried to uninstall / reinstall but it didn't help any.
Will the moderators forward this on? Is there even a way to post / track bugs on XDA?

I saw it as N, but never use nfc, so didn't realize. There was no way i could search it.
Plus, the other guy already helped me out, so this answer wasn't necessary.
This thread is meant to ask questions, it is for those who dont know the stuff.
I appreciate a senior member like you, help people, but you if you are to answer, then you should think about what you are posting.
Thanks.

Seeing as rule number one here is to search you could've found the answer as since 4.3 came out it has been asked numerous times so, really, this entire thread shouldn't exist
Might be worth adding '[SOLVED - NFC ICON] to the thread title so people searching can find it in future
