Since updating to 4.4, the status bar on the homescreen has these blue non-functional icons. They look remnants from JB and they don't change. They only affect the homescreen. It is not life threatening but it bugs me. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Stock ROM with CM recovery. I was hoping it would be easier than a reset but that solved the issue.
Thanks.:good:

I assume nobosy reads this thread or will respond, but I will give it a go.
I have been after this for months, and FINALLY Found it.
Can anyone tell me how this can be installed?
Is it possible to have it exactly the same but without the flippers behind the clock?
I know there are many clock widgets available, BUT none of them give you the exact same sens weather. So if this can be modified it's perfect.
It not possible thats ok, I'd be happy with this. I just work out how to install it.
Thanks anyone.
My Phone is LG P990 (HongKong Stock 2.2 rom),
I want to resize that clock to match with the size of Date in status bar.
Anyone can help me? thanks a lot!

Try this method, if you are OK with getting some more "stock"/AOSP Gingerbread look to your status bar.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1252265
Froyo and Gingerbread releases are listed, with screenshots.
Also this one enables, with Gingerbread, the CRT screen effect when shutting of the screen.
The clock is OK now, Thanks for your help

I think you can probably make a fully transparent .9 status_bar_background image and replace the one in SystemUI.apk.
I haven't tried it yet but I think I did that on a Samsung ROM once.

Alright, so my status bar text and icons remain white at all times and this has been bugging me for a long time now, but it isn't an issue when the status bar is a darker colour, are there any solutions to this? Was there something I did? I have the Ozone substratum theme installed if that helps, I tried tweaking the status bar option in it but it still says white.

Looks like an icon for a Color Picker. Where is the icon shown?
It is probably related to Pen Up app, which I have deleted...
It's on every app I use and I have to constantly move it around to use all my apps. It's locked in place and I can't get rid of it. It's very annoying.

It didn't start this until I updated to the new UI 4 software
Problem solved. Thank-you for your response. This icon option is in the accessibility button option.
