Plugged off and forgot to turn off Wi-Fi at around 6 AM. 12h work shift, very light usage with no background battery hogs like Skype, just usual texting, email, news and stuff like that. Got home, some games, news again (gReader), Pocket, Reddit Flow. Everything on HSPA+ with WiFi on, high precision GPS a very few times, no location reporting and no Google Now (it is useless where I live).
Stock 4.4.2, rooted.

I'm real annoyed with Google tollbar. At first it worked great and was real fast, but now there is a delay between keystrokes and what is printed in the search box. Crawls along at a snailes pace. As if it's looking for bloatware/advertiseing before I've even finshed typing the search words.
Other than removing it, any suggestions ?
And yes, I turned off advanced search functions when first installed.

I personally stay away from any toolbars...If feel like googling for something...I go to ElGoog
Try Yahoo search bar.

sknaht...........
I've seen this in a couple of other device forums, but not in the Nexus 7 forum. Looked at my Nexus 7 today and overnight Google Wallet had drained 6% of the battery. This is with wifi off. I did notice that NFC was on, I'm hoping that is what caused it. As you can see in the screenshots, the Nexus 7 was kept awake all night and I'm guessing it was Google Wallet's fault. Was it because of NFC?

I noticed it too. I turned off NFC and killed Wallet and it's immensely better now.

I actually intentionally didn't put it in there where it would be buried in an hour and no one could find it.

Hey guys,
I recently updated to 4.2.2 and the battery drain is shocking. The phone is active for 4+ hours before I even turn my phone on. Take it off charge and it's down to 98% instantly and drops really quick.
I did a factory reset immediately after updating
Any ideas why the Lockscreen/no lockscreen is killing my phone?
Is it ROM flashing time?

Hi guys. I have big problem with data usage. It's not me but kernel. Is this kernel is ****? I flash ROM like month ago and feel like everything is ok. But little battery drain and I start to find solution. So I find this. Look at screenshots.
I put images but link's change wtf is this
My kernel uses 300GB of data this month. 80% is first plan and other in the background. Some solution for this? Maybe someone has this same problems. Thanks anyway

I finally found a solution. I use one application that in some cases use data. I don't know that will be around 100GB per 8h of use. It is very deep into OS. Applications for nfc payment working fine when rooted is joke compared to this. I don't like people who don't check everything and post. Note I'm this person. Sorry. Maybe this help in the future. Thanks for time
