I'm from Venezuela, I have an HTC M7 bought one used internationally released version, here in Venezuela there are three operators, movilnet, digitel and movistar, the phone uses 3g in the 3 operators. A few days ago I start to unlock the bootloader and change the recovery installing ClockworkMod, up here all right, install as I say forums and tutorials, restarting the phone all the same, but when looking for networks I listed 3 operators. Movistar 2G and 3G, 2G and 3G movilnet, DIGITEL 2G and 3G does not appear the digitel ..... got lost, Will unlocking bootloader made me lose 3g? and no apn settings or the network just stopped recognizing the cel 3g digitel which is 900 mhz .... I appreciate your help and solution
NOTE: I commented that I install original RUU of m7 u_l and the phone stay as factory, but the 3g on the 900 mhz it is not taking that could have happened to the equipment, if the grab 3g 3 operators?

Fist dial *#*#4636#*#* to open the test menu of your phone. Select ''phone info'' tab and make sure preferred networkd type is set to ''GMS/WCDMA/LTE auto''. Then check if your apn match your operator information. You can delete and create a new apn if needed.

After unlocking the bootloader only, after that I realized I had lost the 900 Mhz band, then I changed the ROM to see if it solved, and nothing, I changed Radios, and nothing, I used several Ruu's, and nothing. I'm stuck on this.
I tried to lock the bootloader again, and it said "Relocked", that not solve my problem, so that i'm looking to set this on "Locked", to see if a miracle occurs.

Im Using HTC One, 32 GB Unlocked version bought from HTC store
The phone is not connecting to any mobile network. I have tried multiple SIM's on the phone (the SIM's are working on other devices)
I have flashed the latest radio : 4A.14.3250.13 and im running trickdroid ROM & I have tried ARHD too.
I have tried re-flashing the radio & roms but to no avail. The phone recognises that i have inserted a SIM, but it does not register on the network.
I have tried searching for mobile networks manually, but it does not show any network.
Appreciate any suggestions or Help

My radio says 4!.14.3250.15_10.34.1150.02L. You are in USA like me so shouldn't mine be the latest radio?? Maybe a call to T-Mobile can fix it?? Did you use the sim that came with the phone? You have to use that one and call T-Mobile to activate it.

You need to be sim unlocked for other sims to work.

yep it is. As you can see from the 2nd post :
(bootloader) modelid: PN0712000
(bootloader) cidnum: BS_US001 - This is the USA unlocked version, not T-Mob or ATT.
Also suppose the phone is locked, it would throw a menu to unlock the sim when i insert a New SIM? - it doesn't, so its surely unlocked

Yep, i agree, and by the above detail : (bootloader) modelid: PN0712000
(bootloader) cidnum: BS_US001
i can say its surely unlocked. If it was tmob, or ATT the CID would be different. Also ATT would have a logo behind it, which my phone doesnt.
I have searched forums and i have found that CID - BS_US001 refers to USA developer unlocked version.
Any more ideas guys ? Pls help

Try calling HTC Tech support, let's see what they have to say? Or perhaps go down there?
Have you tried a reset from stock recovery? Try ruu using your phone proper ruu and then reset it from settings or adb reboot recovery. I had a similar problem with my droid dna, phone not connecting to 3g network, I did everything, this was the only thing that fixed it.

Guys, I just moved to Japan and bought the HTC J One from AU, and between never owning a HTC phone before and not being able to find any definitive information on this phone for development I thought I'd ask before trading the waters.
Is there development going on for this variant? And if so how do I go about rooting it and installing cyanogenmod? I'm at a loss here and any help would be appreciated. I've read a lot of the threads but I also know that this is a CDMA variant with a SD slot so I'm worried about using the normal methods posted here
Sent from my HTL22 using xda premium
a good start would be to go into bootloader and run the command "fastboot getvar all" and post your results here (without your IMEI or MEID)
I bought one of these phones a couple months ago and haven't had a whole lot of success with installing ROMs. The phone is an anomaly. The only luck I've had is with a custom CyanogenMod that one person is building. You can get it here: https://github.com/tako0910/release/wiki/HTL22_CyanogenMod It seems to run fine, though I've since stopped using the phone so I can't really vouch for it.
Other things you might want:
revone, to get S-OFF: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=42322906&postcount=2

I'm in the exact same boat. I've successfully gotten S-OFF and unlocked the bootloader with revone and installed TWRP. I tried the build of CM posted above and everything seemed to work just fine except the cellular service itself. I got the data working, but it kept saying Roaming Indicator Flashing, and calls/sms were a no go. Since I'm stuck here in Japan with AU service, I'd really like to get a decent ROM running on it so I can get rid of this stock trash.

When you put the stock ROM back on, was your service restored? Mine stopped working completely. Not really sure why

Yeah, I restored a stock backup and everything was fine.
I'd really like to get rid of Sense too, but I might have to give the Global Edition a try.
This Google Play Edition looks promising, but apparently the mobile data isn't working yet.

If it is possible, please provide info from using this command: fastboot getvar all
Remember to remove or mask out the serial & IMEI part of info.

what makes you think your M7_U have lte support?
and yes you can flash rom/ruu for the m7_u on a m7_ul or m7_ul on a m7_u
with s-off just do the full conversion using a ruu. change cid and mid then use the m7_ul ruu you want.
I had the exact same phone version you have and converted it to a dev edition this way. (btw this will not enable lte. its an hardware limitation)

I also have it under my settings, but there is no lte capabilities. The M7_U have the MDM8215 modem which is a 3G+/4G chip with HSPA+ Rel8/9
GSM/EDGE connectivity only. The M7_UL have the qualcomm MDM9215 modem 4G LTE with LTE Rel9 HSPA+ Rel 8 1x/DO TD-SCDMA GSM/EDGE
connectivity. Unless htc now ship M7_U with mdm9215 modem, there is no way you'll get LTE with it, even if you have lte listed in your settings. The best way to know, go in store and ask to borrow a lte sim card to test if your phone support lte.

M7_U and M7_UL are the exact same phone apart the modem chip, so there is no risk to follow guides and flash stuff for M7_UL on your M7_U

there is no ruu for .599 version. I would recommend you to use either the international wwe .401 version of the dev edition .1540 version.
with phone s-off'ed all you need to do is to change CID and MID to match the ruu you want to use. Then run the ruu (if a .exe ruu) or flash it (if a .zip ruu) and do ota updates to latest verison.

Well, you already have European firmware and radio. Go to settings/mobile data/prefered network, and see if 2g/3g/4g is enabled. And remove your IMEI and serial no from your post. You don't want those two to be widely known [emoji6]

Maybe your sim card doesn't support 4G. Can you try it in another phone and see if 4G works?

Does 3G work? Or any data network? If it does, maybe you should ask your service provider for 4G settings for your phone

Hi!
have bought a used HTC One (M7) that is AT&T unlocked. Now I live in Tunisia (North Africa) and i can't update my software version "4.18.502.7".
This is my bootloader status:
***RELOCKED***
M7_UL PVT SHIP S-OFF RH
CID-11111111
HBOOT-1.56.000
RADIO-4T.24.3218.09
OpenDSP-v32.120.274.0909
OS-4.18.502.7
eMMC-boot 2048MB
I tried to install the following RUU: "RUU_M7_UL_L50_SENSE60_MR_BrightstarUS_WWE_7.17.15 40.7_Radio_4T.35.3218.16_10.33Q.1718.01L_release_4 20191_signed_2"
I had changed my cid to match that of Brightstar (BS_US001, or sth like it) but didn't work. I kept encountering "error 155".
I just want to find a compatible RUU and to be able to update (getting rid of AT&T bloatware would be a plus).
Please help!
Thank you!

You must be connected to the at&t network to receive ota update for the at&t version. If you want to convert to the Brightstar version using that RUU you'll first need to update your firmware to at least 6.xx.1540.x. Look in my dev edition thread (link in my signature) you'll find all the dev edition files.

make sure you use a full firmware and not a firmware patch (ota firmware).
The 6.07.1540.2 should work fine
