I'm gonna want get around with my nexus 7 but obviously it's too big for my pockets.
Will I have to get a man bag?

i bought a bag when i bought my touchpad a while ago.
if i'm out riding then it goes in the backpack. idk, nice to have it around.

I have my iPad in a Belkin neoprene sleeve. I ordered a case-logic sleeve for my nexus 7...that's if I even receive it.

I can fit my daughter's Ideapad A1in my back pocket for short trips and such. For traveling I plan on getting some sort of a neoprene-type zipper puch so it is a bit safer in what ever bag i stash it in.

Just going to tuck mine down the front of my boxer shorts.
"What on earth is that?"... "Tis Nexus. Want to touch? .... pepperstaek"

Is that an N7 in your pocket or junk in your trunk?
Hopefully it will fit in my back pocket, like the Nook Color did..

I have a "Camera Bag" that I got from amazon. Only about 28 bucks. There is a pocket that it will fit in perfectly because my kindle fire fits in it perfectly already. Then there is a top pocket my phone slips into for easy access.

I'll tuck it in the back of my pants.

One of the great things about being still in college is that it's acceptable to wear hoodies and tracksuit bottoms around with nice big pockets..
My Nexus will hopefully fit nicely in some of my pockets..
If not I'll just get a nice strong case and pop it in my backpack and try to be relatively careful walking around - that strategy hasn't broken my Kindle yet so if it's not broke don't fix it

I'm waiting for these to become available (debating on whether to get the blue or black one).
When I'm going to class, I'll just put it in my backpack. I won't be able to take it to work, so school, home, and relatively long car rides will be the main places I'll be using it, and I think the case will work just fine (has worked so far for my Nook Tablet at least although the case for it was made by m-edge).

In my hand until I see any good pouches in stores or the net. I currently have my nook color in a leather pouch and like it better then a case. I go on a plane ride in early Aug to test. Yep, my Nexus will join the mile high club. I get to gift my nook color to my son.

I can only tell you that clip is great because I used it from one of the car mounts on ebay. But can't comment on how rigid/flexible that neck-stand going to be. Keep in mind, N2 is not that heavy, but once you add a case (like Defender) and/or something like ZL battery or another extended battery, it will add up.

I saw some of these on eBay. Can't see the link since it's blocked at work. But it's a flex tube. I might make something myself and test it out.
I dropped my Note II with Sweet Armor case on my face last night. Not cool.

I think i will order one as soon as possible but with a ZL battery i doubt it will work.

Must be hard, using a touchscreen device with fingers that huge. Good thing it comes with the S-pen.

As I was laying in bed last night watching a movie on the little screen (so not to disturb the mrs) I was thinking I need one of these!

I have two of these on my bunk bed/desk, the arms are not as long as they have in the ebay picture (photoshopped obviously), and not very strong, if you have zero lemon on your note 2, you'll have to do a loop, otherwise it will bend a bit. I have usb cable zip tied to them.
You have to curl them at least half a circle, or they wont' stay up, and you'll have to put some rubber under the clip.
Watching movie and video is fine if you sleeping in your bed, but you want be able to surf the internet play game because your arm will get tired after 2 or 3 mins and also because it's so wobbly.

The size is about 70cm but like you said we have to do a loop and it's reduce the size.

I got them on ebay for $17 free postage, from HK.

I'm using two of them for the note 2 and its just so Damn heavy it bows under it's weight

I finally found one on ebay.com for 19 $ with shippin include. It stand really good in special position. On other the note 2 fall down with the arm

Please look at the picture, i don't really do a loop for more stability. Just turn back the support like i did

Good waterproof case for the Note 2

Hi, I am new to this form but not so new to the note. I am an avid sailor and I was wondering if there are any cases for the note 2 that I could take out on the water. See it is a small boat (only 2 person) and I want to be able to listen to music while sailing and if I capsize not worry if my phone will be ruined or worse sink.

There are a few cases out there. I usually search eBay or AliExpress for them. They can be called water proof or life cases (as the withstand life haha).

iOttie makes waterproof skin, but it's not a case. I'm not aware of any full waterproof case for N2. Manufacturers don't want to make it using access to s-pen as an excuse.

how about a waterproof pouch, just got one for USD 2.50.

You may want to look into waterproofing your device instead of getting a waterproof case

supposedly Liquipel 2.0 is "now 100x more effective than before." but even it that is the case it still doesn't stop your phone filling with water

There is no such thing, unless the phone is built with the feature like the sony xperia Z etc.

I'd be cautious about that, considering that Griffin haven't actually made any Survivor cases for the Note 2. Its a fake that you can get much cheaper from eBay.

I have an aquapac that I've been using for a few years. Never had any problems.
I bought it for my g2. Its been to water parks and to Hawaii 3 times. Snorkeling, swimming or just floating at Waikiki.
I'm pretty sure the naked n2 fits in the one I have. It's not a problem for me to take the case off to use it in the pouch because it stays around my neck the whole time.
It will be coming with me back to Hawaii in a few weeks!

Just got it so I can use it on my trip to japan in Hakone hot spring area in a few months time.

Everyone is focusing on the waterproofing factor, but the op mention capsizing.... I would certainly be worried about water damage on a boat, but if it goes overboard it will just sink. You need something that will float like a sealbag... I used those in the military and they worked great, but you would have to constantly have to take it in and out of the bag.
My suggestion would be to by a cheap pos mp3 player and speaker set, and leave the phone in your car. Be smart.

The item I have in post 12, is also available that you can blow some air in and it will float in case it does capsize, I don't have any photo's at the moment, will try to get one.

The Aquapac that I use floats....

If you're really serious about a waterproof case then the most full-featured one has to be DryCase. I've used DryCase for years and it has somethings that I've not seen in others like:
- A hand pump to pump all the air out of the case. When you do this you are absolutely, positively certain that it's water tight. Very comforting.
- An internal connector to the headphone jack that passes through the case to the outside world. You can plug in your headphone jack to make phone calls or listen to music without having to listen to music through the heavy vinyl.
- An armband. This can be used on your arm or around something in the boat to keep it from going away. It also acts as a floatation device.
- It's totally clear on front and back. No matter where the camera lens is you can take a photo.
It's more expensive than some of the cheap ones here ($24 on Amazon Prim) but if you're under water taking a photo of of fish or the crashing wave do you really want to trust your $700 phone to a cheap Chinese knockoff?
Here's where your can get one.

It would be perfect for cliping to your shorts and going to the gym or outside running. It would be strong, big, and wide enough so that your phone won't fall. Easy to clip on and off if you get a phone call or txt msg while doing something.

I too wish I had a better belt clip option.
I have the Zero lemon battery and I'm using the seidio convert holster but because the clip is positioned on the center of the holster the heavy note 2 just hangs forward.
I wish I could find a similar holster with the clip attached right at the top so the phone wouldn't tip forward.
As it stands I have to put my shirt over it to hold it in so it won't hang.

I also suffer from Apple accessory envy (but I don't like most Apple products). Unfortunately the Note 2 is a small market niche phone, so we're lucky to have the limited number of accessories currently available. I'm impressed by the number of Galaxy S4 accessories already out.

In need of a bullet proof LG G4 case

Yeah, it is actually centred, but the left ventricle is bigger than the right side, so it appears to be to the left.

I had the Urban Armor Gear case for the Galaxy S3, and it took quite a bit of abuse. I got it for the G4, and it seems just as sturdy. The fit and finish is perfect, even with the leather back. They have two, both transparent. One is clear, and the other is smoky. They apparently have certified military grade drop protection. I read a story from someone who had one for the GS3 that dropped it off their motorcycle going 30mph, and the phone was completely fine.

i suggest you buy some cheap hardcase from ebay or amazon
then you go buy a nice block of steel, or titanium, or maybe vibranium if you can get your hands on
then you find your nearest blacksmith or metal workshop, then forge or mold the metal block you have into the shape of the hardcase
and maybe you should kill the blacksmith, the metal seller, and the ebay/amazon seller, because you don't want to get your cover blown, right

Have you looked into carbon nanotubes?
Every spy agency should have at least some of this material available for standard field work.
It offers flexibility and low weight.
Perfect for a nice bullet proof suit, with pockets anywhere you desire.
Then you could just use a fancy case and look even more awesome.
You could add some piezo electric generators and combine it with a Qi charger.
Spare power could be sent to your other spy gadgets.

Kevlar is your friend.
