I have a galaxy ace not and ace I,
I cracked the screen so I got another and fixed it, the problem I have is the when texting I press say the r button and the e button appears on the screen its like its missing the touch for the selected letter, it takes a long time to text or email.
is there a code that can be entered to adjust the touch points.

Hello everyone,
First off if this is in the wrong thread, please move it. Ok, i am using one of Dutty's Rom's (check signature) and i would like to change the short cut buttons on my today screen, if you look at the pic you will see the left menu is action screen and the right is contacts, is it possible to change what these buttons open, can i use another program and if yes how do i do it
i know this may be a simple explanation but i am sure i have seen how to do it before but can't find it or remember, thanks for any help
you can use the advance configuration tool by schaps, it has the key mapping feature, you can change the right and left soft key applications to be opened.

My HTC diamond Problem,touch screen abit weird,when i touch middle of the screen on the left,it go to open contact,n no mater touch at where,the respon will go at the screen down there.

if you cant go threre cause you have screen problem
you can do it manually (Dpad)

When I switch to my Diamond's manila messaging tab won't show menu in the right down side (new, reply etc), but it does appear on any other tab.
All I did was to change fonts from white to black and installed Touch Diamond 2's phone canvas and Black Slide to answer.
There might be a conflict somewhere? Please help. Sorry if posted on the wrong thread...
hi guys i'm having a weird problem using fingerkeyboard 2.1....i can't type the question mark (?) when i press and hold the period key(.)!! Am i missing something here? works ok when in landscape mode when the question mark is assigned to the letter m but not in potrait mode when it's assigned to the period key...it just vibrates and no question mark typed. Searched the forums but no threads regarding this particular problem....anyone here can shed some light?

Press shift
The subject line is clear, and the problem is annoying. Every time I try to go to the home screen I have to go back through all the options I've passed through. Plus, I've tried to activate the traditional lock screen with the lock and speaker icon but it's been impossible. Please help out this poor noob!
P.s: I've already searched for any other similar topic and no answer, so please don't say I'm kinda lazy and didn't make a search. Thanks.

I have flashed a minitab rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1968561 on my note . Everything is working very smoothly as it should be. It is really a greate rom, thanks to the developer. Since my note already have a back button and a menu button, I really dont want to waste my screen space on some so called navigation buttons. Its really anoying. I have tried to apply couple of solutions like editing the build.prop as it is suggested in the thread. But it seems not working. I really don care to loose the accessibility of the mini mode buttons from the navigation bar.
So somebody please help me with a real solution to either disable or to hide the navigation bar for this particular rom. Thanks in advance

Somebody help me
If I understood your problem, you installed a ROM that works in tablet mode, showing you the menu, home and back keys on the bottom of the screen. To solve this you need to change the LCD density in build.prop: ro.sf.lcd_density. The default density of the Note is 320 dpi (ro.sf.lcd_density=320), what puts you in "phone mode", i.e. the bottom bar doesn't appear. Try changing that on your build.prop. Search the forum if you don't know how to do that, because a mistake could leave your device in a bootloop. Other options you have is to flash a different ROM.
