Hi all,
I have flashed many roms on my LG 2X and lastly I have tried to flash SlimRom 4.4 but stuck to boot logo. I have read the thread and that seems to be a problem for some users since this is a test rom.
What I want to know is this:
I have used for some time tonyp's 10.2 rom which I liked alot. But then used AIO tool and NVFlsh to repartition my phone.
Last time I used AIO and partitioned my phone to NBTL, unlocked with TWRP 2.6. My problem is that when I flash CyanMod 10 it stucks on boot logo , 10.1 fails during flashing and tonyp;s 10.2 boots to setup wizard and then I get a wizard crash message. Also SlimRom 4.4 sticks in boot logo .
I can install MOKEE rom ok ( which I like alot ) and also Optix.
The problems seem to relate to CyanMod based Roms. Do you have any ideas why this might happen

Ahh baseband...that may do the trick. I remember I installed some baseband 1-2 years ago but did not do anything with baseband since. I will give it a try. Thank you

Which os are you using. If windows 8 you should remove driver signature as the first point. Also make sure you use usb2.0 and a proper cable and no usb hub.
I don't use PC to flash, I flash from recovery , I only use my phone
Sent from my washing machine
Well, you have to use computer to flash baseband, nvflash rom and also kdz and smartflash. I suggest you try smartflash for baseband and nvflash for rom. Then your phone should be good.
I will try to flash baseband ( I just saw I have v10) .thank you guys with will post if it works

cm 11 help
hi all,
Could anyone help in that,
I would like to try the newest
cm-11-20140509-UNOFFICIAL-p990.zip
but i can't flash it. its stops.
I have twrp.
There is any method/trick to make it work?
Change/delete/overwrite files in the zip?
I can`t attach to the computer so I can`t change the twrp to cwm
and I can`t use the AIO toolkit, because it doesn`t recognise the
PC. Suddenly just gone this part of the usb.
Thank you for the answer/s and help.

Hey Guys,
I have P990 and I'm using CM10 nightly, and I really want to change ROM as this works really bad on my device.
I downloaded DjangoManouche X 1.6.1 and whenever I go to install, it goes through the first steps, then screen gets black and goes back to Clockwork Recovery. I tried with other ROMs and similar things happen.
What could it be?
Thanks|

if you're on an official cm nightly then you're on a old bootloader... django is on the new bootloader...
search dev thread for aio tools and how to switch to a new bootloader
edit:
or install one of cm based old bl roms outthere (there is also an old/new bootloader converter tool somewhere in dev thread as well but i don't know if it works for converting all roms - it worked for me on tonyp "the rom" roms up to build 26)

Well, just because it's the only ROM I can install. Still want to upgrade, but I can't do anything. USB isn't working, ROM from external SD don't install...
don't get me wrong, cm7 is a good rom (especially if you installed Temasek one + vadonka kernel) - battery is great with this combo (i was using that combo for almost a year until cm10/10.1/10.2 versions of tonyp roms + pengus kernels came out in the beginning of 2013)...
but cm10.2 has some usefull stuff and many improvements over cm7...
i can only suggest you to read some more threads in the developer section... moving to a new bootloader can give you some more benefits if you're into the newest roms (since the rom developers usually support only the new bootloader first, and then they make an old bootloader versions of their roms/kernels as well - or they don't - it's up to them and their free time)
i'm also considering to finally switch to a new bootloader - but i'm still waiting for the new cm11 (kitkat) roms and 3.1+ kernel to become stable enough for a daily use...
it's up to you to see what you need most out of the rom... but some reading before flashing is mandatory... if you've read some more - you'd already know your problem before i wrote my post and explaining the old/new bl issue...
once a week someone comes up with the same problem because he doesn't read about bootloaders or is just lazy to read the 1st posts in the rom threads...
i hope i helped... cheers

How is Cm10.2 working for you? Battery life/speed/etc
I had 10.1 I believe and it was horrible.

your usb doesn't work when the phone is fully booted into the rom or it doesn't work for SW upgrade?

it was horrible if you used the official CM10.1 nightlies... not if you've been using tonyp cm10.1 based roms and pengus kernels... believe me...
currently i'm on the tonyp "The rom" build 26 + pengus kk126 kernel (no ram hack version)
battery lasts for almost 2 days with moderate use (around 3 hrs screen on + wi-fi on, some calls, some messages)
phone is snappy, i don't have syncs turned on in any app...
phone is oc-ed to 1500mhz (min 216, max 1500mhz), and if you care about the benchmarks - it gives a solid 9000+ in antutu...
for a 3 year old phone - i'm satisfied enough...
btw what version of cwm do you have?
your starting point can be here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2020737
and please at least read the 1st page of the thread if not all of it (for user comments)
there is also an option to install the correct windows drivers and a tutorial for windows 8 (i'm on win7 x64)
I've tried different ports, different cables, different copmuters...I've read that a lot of people have this issue though, especially after upgrading to CM7...which was my case. Ever since I haven't been able to do it

if you have installed all drivers(lg united, nvflash drivers, apx, adb usb drivers...that is in tonyp basketbuild downloads in p990 staff-->various ) and if you are not did this: SU660 Users: Download Both P990 & SU660-AddOn packages. Run & extract the P990 first and then extract in the same folder the SU660-AddOn. AIO-Toolkit will be converted to support SU660 device

I installed your VanirAOSP 4.4.2 but I had no network, the baseband and also the IMEI were unknown. I followed all steps for installation. I used TWRP, and was on a stock firmware when I did the installation. Returned to stock via ODIN and network was back and so was the IMEI. What could be cause of this. It also happened with 2 other 4.4.2 roms. Most puzzled.

Ok there is offical cm kernel, with sony logo, this rom is booting and works. There is Android OS battery drain fix so should be ok. This is android 4.4.2 not 4.4.3 yet, works fluid. You can install and try it its safe. http://beta.download.cyanogenmod.org/get/huashan-latest.zip
You can enter recovery by volume up button :3
Antutu test passed without reboot twice, points: 20382 and 16656
2d performance good, 3d medium for now ( 3d performance jumps)
There is updated theme engine.

Hello
Here is V20J KDZ (ROOT/CWM/UNLOCK_BOOT) for E610(dont use on E612 or you'll losse deepsleep) which include:
- Unlocked bootloader
- CWM 6.0.5.0
- ROOT (SU + Superuser. You can flash SuperSU via CWM if preffered)
This firmware is just like v20d firmware which is available since a long time except this is v20j + newest available CWM.
Its based on V20J from LG for E610v ("v" is Vodaphone CZ/EU but its completly same as clean e610)
INFO FOR NEWBIES: Flash this KDZ and your phone is ready for CM11 etc... No need to do other things.
After flash go to CWM(VOL DOWN + HOME + POWER release POWER after vibration) and do WIPE(data/cache) to fix bootloop if ANY(its normal dont panic).
KDZ modified by me and tested on LG L5 E610(NFC) when i came back from CM11 to Stock.
All work as it should.

Hello
Here is V20J KDZ...This firmware is just like v20d firmware which is available since a long time except this is v20j...
Its based on V20J from LG for E610v ("v" is Vodaphone CZ/EU but its completly same as clean e610)

So is there any advantage with this baseband over v20d (maybe better SIP collaboration)? If so, a flashable .zip would be great.
edit: Nevermind, y'all might want to flash v20d: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vodafone
basebands ('cause xda needs this redundancy if you've used their search much): http://forum.xda-developers.com/optimus-l3-l5-l7/general/radio-baseband-l5-t2813595

Flashable zip for v20j is posted in baseband for l5 thread for a long time(also prepared by me).

Ps : the start sound fuxx me up .D
You probably don't have a stock ROM. I bet you still don't have Knox and you installed ROM that should have it.
You need other S3 device, and charge your battery with it until your device will boot on it, so you can charge it normally. Then install stock ROM again and it will do.

Looking at ur picture installation was fine. Some ROMs still have problems unmounting system partition once flashing is done.. After flashing wipe data and cache then try to boot
