I wanted to start doing the mods again, but for that I need a deodexed firmware that's 100% up-to-date.

Download newest firmware, remove md5 from extension - open it with winrar or 7zip. Pull out system.img.md5, remove its md5 too and use this to extract it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2294909
Deodex files after that... I think that we do not have deodexed system files from newer firmwares.

Not sure if this will help you but it is the latest firmware with newest build date: 09.01.2014, UBLPK for argentina and is unbranded. Go HERE. Hope it helps.

Except the extra apps inside which some people care to have them, there may be some tweaks for NA version but I am not really aware of them.
Compare to 181, this boots up in no time.
So far I see one extra app, Google Books. (compare to global generic 145)
Would someone mind posting Google Books. Can't seem to find it on the market.

My phone is simlocked to Rogers so no fastboot.
Edit: I can confirm I have 2.3.3 with root because I just installed busybox. =D

Did you have Lt15a - North America Generic 3.0.A.2.181 installed first via flashtool (or stock) and rooted (with Gingerbreak or something) then got an OTA update to 3.0.1.A.0.145 aka 2.3.3 ? If so, that would retain root as per the other thread for root on 2.3.3 with a locked BL...
I got LT15a Generic US 3.0.A.2.181 installed via some free software then rooted it and OTA update. I'm trying to see if someone is willing to flash their phone with all different firmwares to upload the flashtool version of the firmware for everyone.
But it seems like my thread for it got deleted.
This firmware comes from the Official Insiders. I think the firmware is suitable for ME860 sold in Asia. The firmware is Android 2.3.4, internal beta. I tried to flash it in my ME860, but because of the firmware on my telephone-U4_2.1.1 ,French version,it failed. Now, I share the firmware with everyone,hoping that if someone can find a method to let all of us use it.

uhm its an OLYEM not an OLYFR version of the flash file, so it probably shouldnt work on the att atrix.

Well i was using a french sbf before trying this and it was working normally... i´m reinstalling it (i hope it works), but i guess its a no go for us brazilians 2
I do not take credit for any of this, I simply wanted to point out that it is indeed possible to upgrade manually to the JB OTA ROM instead of waiting for it to be released OTA in your region

I'm pretty sure it only works with N8000 so far, being that it carries an N8000 kernel inside I'm not sure if one is able to replace the kernel and make it run. I figure it would take a lot of modding.

I have the beta kernal running on my 8013 on JB without any problems. I just had to set the scaling on ondemand and I limited the min to 50MHz and the max to 1500MHz based on previous user experiences. I did have a couple of random reboots but the ondemand and min setting fixed them for me.

i rooted my i9305, now they got a new 4.1.2 update via OTA however, because of root i cannot do the OTA update. Have found the firmware at samfirmware but i cant seem to download on hotfile. Any kind souls can help link to other server.
