Nice! Going to update my modem now and see. UCNE5 didn't work as good as i expected in Norway, hope UCNE4 is better
Any difference?
Ohh, nice. If you find any differences, would you mind sharing?
I have UCNE5 installed now, and so far so good, but would be willing to flash UCNE4 if it is better

Seems like the UCNE4 is doing better on LTE/3G. I had a lot of Edge connections with UCNE5 where i before with UBML3 had LTE.
Will report back in a day
Edit: I'm going for UCNE4, much better LTE/3G coverage than any of the modems i have tried before

Updated via OTA NEE, lost phone + address book apk:s? Like, wtf? Factory reset did not help, Will ODIN flash now.
Got ucne4 ota today. So far, so good. But to soon to say anything about the stability or performance.
Okey, After flash with odin, phone, gallery and contacts apk:s are back. Weird.
I flash via odin, and knox shown up 0x0 checked by phone info app

Hey, Sorry, I'm kind of new to all this so maybe I just did something stupid?
I followed these instructions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=932196 and used the telus canada file listed. I used RSDlite 4.6 if that makes a difference. and used the rom at first link on: http://androidforums.com/motorola-m...date-milestone-android-2-3-3-instruction.html
which is CyanogenMod-7.0.0-RC3-0.07-11.03.09-Milestone
now its on 2.3.3 and everything works great including gps camera wifi etc... I just cant get a 3g or 2g signal. Sometimes it will say emergency mode but then switch back to no signal shortly after. I was running the ota froyo update by telus before I decided to do all this but it was runing reallly slow and laggy and had random reboots a couple times a day thus me switching.
How do I fix this? does anyone know?
thanks!!
You have to flash the telus baseband for 3g to work. Try flashing telus baseband files from AOR.

Hey Guys
Actually my phone was hit last week and after that,my wifi signal is very weak, when I turn on the WiFi it just show me the nearest access point(1 meters)
and I must be near to access point till it show me and connect to the name access point on the list.
where is the exact position of wifi in the incredible S' board please?
if it's damaged, so why I can connect to near access point ?
Is there any application to test it?
My OS is Android ICS 4.0.4
Thanks a lot for your advice

thnx for your reply,
No, the routers are OK, because I tested them via Xperia Mini,HTC HD2 and Xperia X1 and they get signals very well,
also I changed the ROM but it's not fix yet,
so your suggestion is better to change the radio too, huh ?
OK I'll do it, thnx
Hi i just upgraded my incred s to 4.0.4 and in the advanced wifi options try turning on Best Wi-Fi performance.

thnx a lot , so it's not related to radio version ? currently my radio is " RADIO-3831.18.00.11_M "
is that the latest version ?
It's not the latest but it is a fairly recent radio.
3831.18.00.28_M is AFAIK the latest radio.

Personally I don't think so. Have you double checked to ensure your back cover isn't loose? Trying a new radio be worthwhile if for no other reason than I have found the new radios give better battery life.

Not quite sure. I usually do radio upgrades using adb push method.

Yes it does. Running it now. I used the OTA from telus (rooted) but you can also use dannorom. I prefer a official. Update just to ensure everything works so far can't find a glitch.
Here's a link just flash via Odin.

Nope I used all 3 I just like different load screens I'm kinda weird. Remember these are not rooted. So you still have to go to that process if your tablet or phone is a virgin. Personally I just downloaded goo installer from the Google store . and updated to the DannoROM that 1 takes care of the root problem and gives you a custom operating system
And so far I haven't found 1 glitch. Camera works, GPS works, the only problem I can find is the 1 everybody's talking about on the forum. and that's only if you have Asim card. personally I just use the data off my phone. No need to pay 25 dollars for only 1 gigabyte of data.
Sent from my SGH-I957 using XDA Premium HD app
Root is very easy to achieve on the official built. The difference between official and Danno is battery life, which has been for me, at least 25℅ greater on official.
Just want to let you know - I followed instructions precisely - when odin went to the "modem" stage I received "fail" status. Then rebooted expecting to have a brick as a result. And to my surprise - tablet got updated. So far everything works and tablet looks much much better.
I have I957 ATT and used Bell's download.

Any of the Nougat modems and bootloaders will work just fine.
During twrp flashing this rom the modem and bootloader will be
replaced automatically any way with the latest beta 5 modem
and bootloader.
Good luck, very Merry Xmas

You CANNOT flash this rom if you have a Tmobile G935T/G930T phone.
This rom is made for the Exynos G935F/G930F international phones for
people who are on the Tmobile network in the usa and want wifi calling,
volte and rcs.
Flashing this rom on a G935T Tmobile phone with either twrp or flashfire
will result in a soft brick and you will have to Odin flash your phone with
the stock original firmware to get it back to working condition.
Sorry about that...
Have a very merry Xmas!
Confirmed this works overseas also. Works great!!

If you are coming from another Nougat 7 rom there
is no need to flash the no-verity encryption.
If you are coming from a Marshmallow then yes,
and flash it before flashing the rom.
Good luck,
Have a great day!
I really liked it, seems too light. I love the fact that we can choose samsung bloatware to remove and everything has a great explanation in the Aroma. I have two things though. First of all I am using G935FD, I do not think this is a problem, but it could be you tell me. concerns are:
1. There is no app lock under Advanced feature in settings, I would really love to use it.
2. When I go under Device Performance, under Security, I see the shield sign; however, it is blank with no text and that is the only thing visible. I know from older ROM I've been on "OnTheEdge" that this should work as an antivirus. I also had the same issue with Helios.
I have LTE, wifi calling.VoLTE, and can access my SDcard without being in recovery mode, as was the case for the two previous nougat I tried., beside the two issues above great great work man.
any chance of a flashable zip with the csc and files required for VoLTE to work?
I'm getting text messages twice with the stock messenger app. Both recieved and sent show up twice. I've cleared cache, full wipe twice and still the same. Textra works fine, only receives one text. Anyone else seeing this? Any suggestions?

I had the same issue when I was on the Xperia z3 dual SIM. It mostly occurred when I used the messenger app by Google. I'm still using it now, but haven't encountered that issue. It's slow in receiving group messages, if you're connected to Wi-Fi.
Thank you for making this ROM. This is exactly what I've been looking for.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me. I get a "Invalid SIM card" notification and I'm unable to make calls or use data even though I have a good T-Mobile USA SIM card that works with other ROMs. When I go to "Mobile Networks" in Settings->Connections, I get a "Invalid SIM Card" toast. I did a full wipe during install.
My phone is a dual SIM version (G935FD) and I have two SIM cards installed (second SIM card is T-Mobile). It looks like the modem that ships with this ROM is only able to support one SIM card at a time. When you install the second SIM card the phone is not able to use either one of them. I reports that a SIM card is carrier-locked even though it's not.
I was able to recover by restoring a NANDROID backup that included my previous EFS partition.

This phone is capable of a lot more than 1 Mbps right out of the box. I do not see how a fw update is the solution. If your carrier/plan works fast with other phones, then it's your phone that is the problem...If not, then it's a problem with your carrier/plan speed. If you know it's your phone and apn is correct, then try factory reset with stock fw. If still slow, I would return it if not too late or try to get it repaired.
