Hi everyone!
I get my XZR 3 days before and upgraded it to Android 4.4.2. And cause of the problem with accu drain with Google Service I want to go back to Android 4.3.
Is this possible and what must I do to solve this?
Can I get root access after that?
Greetings Lemmi.
even if u go back to 4.3 google play services will still update to the same version and u will still get drain...

That is not good.
Friend of mine have a xperia zr with Android 4.3 and his one stays the whole day with heavy using without problems. Thats the reason why a wanted to go back. But if it dont help I will stay where I am and wait for the update, that may fix the problem.
battery drain has gone when i do 6 steps in this topic http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2774949
you can try this
now, my battery is very good, 5' onscreen wifi for 1% battery
I also use 4.3 and have no battery drain!

you may flash 4.3 ftf with wiped data and you will be back in 4.3 for good!!
On 4.4.2, you can still get rid of that battery drain by:
-go to settings>apps and clear Google play services data and Uninstall updates
-update again and get rid of the drain
I did it and it worked.

Hi I have a Sony Xperia Z and it was rooted before I updated the software to 4.2.2 version. I wanted to root the 4.2.2 version too because i wanted to use light flow and make sure the leds all work properly with stamina mode. So I root my phone and copy super stamina.apk into the app folder and then when i next restart my phone, i keep getting the message, android updating apps. it then goes onto the home screen for about 5 seconds and reboots and does the same thing again, android updating apps, home screen for 5 seconds and reboot. any ideas whats going?

Probably the wrong version of super stamina for your firmware, what Rom are you using? I would recommend removing super stamina, not sure why you need it, 4.2.2 is pretty good with battery life without stamina and obviously really good with the stock stamina mode
I found that the battery backup on Kitkat 4.4.4. India is worst than Kitkat 4.4.2.... I only got 4-4:30 hours of on screen battery backup...
Google play services use 4-5% battery,Wi fi use 2-3% battery... Whether i use wifi or Not.....
Anyone got this battery backup issue on 4.4.4...
And how to resolve this problem to get more on screen time battery backup....
Doen't look bad for me.
You could take a look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z/general/battery-life-how-to-to-7-hours-screen-t2382712
Otherwise you could flash a custom kernel like the Zombie Kernel. I've got a better battery life but you need an unlocked bootloader.

What battery backup gives ur device if u continously use ur phone with 3g data and with brightness on automatic...???
Sometime in my device Google play services eat 11-12% battery....

With the zombie kernel I'm getting aground 4 - 4.5 hours screen on time. I'm on 80 percent of the day connected to WiFi. It really depends on my usage which is not always the same. But I think I should get also 4h SOT without wifi.
You should try the link I gave you. I use also AutomateIt to automatize some things like brightness, mobile data, WiFi, Greenify and so on.

Maybe there's a compatibility problem. With 6.0.4. You should try the actually version of TB, then it should work on your xz.

Hi i'm a noob (ex-apple fanboy) i just got my first android device 2 weeks ago and cuz i wanted to run obb files for games on my external sd i rooted my device.then i flashed xposed to my phone using twrm recovery and installed xposed and the obb to sd module. Finally got it to work after much frustration until something strange happened.I went to sleep with my device at about 50 or 60% battery level and when i woke up my phone was dead.I was shocked.anyways luckily i did a backup before flashing xposed and am now currently restoring the backup.Cn xposed be the culprit here? this has never happened until i flashed xposed.I also noticed that my battery was really going down fast and when i checked power settings android system was using up 100% battery .Sense home too was using up a lot and ive never seen this happen before until now. Please advice me.I use an unlocked HTC One M8 with a Stock rom and TWRM recovery on lollipop 5.0.1

i'll try to flash xposed to my phone again and not install the obb on sd module maybe its the culprit.i wish someone would advise me tho
There shouldn't be any batt drain due to Xposed. DO CLEANUP and CLEAR your Download/Photos/Pictures folder.. Any sideloaded apk from 3rd websites do WAKE Play services + Play store and they'll start upload the apk for verification without your knowledge..

Hi all so i have question, wasn't too sure on where to post it at and seems like this is the place, forgive me if I'm wrong. But i have a question, I have a ATT UNLOCKED Note 3 being used on T-Mobile, if i insert my att sim card that's deactivated, and update the phone to Lollipop, will the root go away? If so how do I re-root the ATT Note 3 with the Lollipop firmware, currently I have 4.4.1.
Thanks!

More than likely the update will fail to install since you are rooted. If you have Safestrap installed, you can flash this in Safestrap to be on rooted lollipop http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=59666958&postcount=2

You can put it on your internal storage then flash it what way. Use Safestrap 3.75, if you don't have it. https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95832962473398959 It will not wipe your internal storage. :good:

They say seeing is believing, so here is a video http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2o7eke_oc1_tech Just freeze knox and if you get "gapps has stopped" message, go to application manager , then to all apps then uninstall the gapps update (Google Play services). So you know, you can't use Xposed with Lollipop. If you have any problems these are the STOCK N900AUCUCNC2 ODIN Files http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=54803130&postcount=136 Watch the video and you will see it will take about 8+ minutes for the first boot. Once you uninstall play services restart it (phone) and go to play store and let it update and it'll work fine then. Exposed installer and Viper4android will not work on lollipop. Trust me I know. So i followed the method but currently I am stuck on "Samsung Glaxy Note 3" logo screen for about 10 mins with no change or anything. is this normal, or should i reboot and wipe dalvik/cache and then reboot?
I enrolled on the beta program on my Nexus 6 and allowed it to update to Android N (June build) and now I cannot install anything from the Play Store or update applications through it. I get an error every time.
I have tried:
Turning it off and on.
Disabling Play Store and clearing the cache (cannot see anywhere to uninstall updates).
What should I try next? Should I try and uninstall the Play Store and reinstall it through apk?
Clear data of Google Play Services and Play Store then try installing/updating apps.
This did not work. It still just shows "Downloading" constantly and yet nothing happens. The bar just goes across endlessly til I stop it.
It is error code 495 if that helps, I will try Googling it now...

It still has not worked. I also turned off the data saver built into Android 7 and also turned off Opera Max in case they were affecting it.
I really don't want to flash it but I might just wait until the final launch of Android 7 in August and flash it.

Max does not route Google Play requests through compression servers as it's HTTPS. Also we're testing if it works properly before each release .

I have the same problem, but what I have found that works is: starting the download.. force stopping the play store app. Tap playstore app again, then download will finish. I have to do that every download. Keeps me from switching back to MM.
no clue why anyone wants N at this point; very few things actually work on it, and MM has so many fantastic roms/tweaks/features right now..
Its only another month or so until its officially out; especially if you are N00B, you should really wait until then

I got bored and didn't have access to a PC so I thought I'd try it. Surely access to the play store and the ability to install apps is one of the most basic and prioritised functions and given it's the 3rd Android N beta release I thought it would be fine.

Actually DevPreviews have been what I would consider fine for me. Very few problems that would cause me to return to mm. 99% of the stuff I use works, so I'm good with it. I am encrypted and I manually flash different partitions when updating. I've had very few problems.

Truth be told I don't know a great deal about Android yet. I can do some basic stuff that average phone owners can't like installing apks but I've never flashed anything. I'm not scared to try with a step by step guide though so I might try one later. I will see what version of CM is newest - does CM automatically update now? So when Android N is launched it will update? Or I'd have to flash it again?
Just restart the device and then try. Or force stop playstore and run it again. i'm using android N beta (NPD56N) since 7 days and i found no bugs yet! its working perfect on my nexus 6

I was the same way when I started with my Evo. I've come a long way since then( only less fear lol). I've learned a lot from searching first, then if I can't figure it out, there's someone on here willing to help. Trial and error is a great teacher. I don't use CM anymore. I use pureNexus.. When it comes out for N, I'm going back to it. Beanz is a great developer. Make a rom back up and start flashing.
