Ok, so I live in an area where Spark hasn't been Activated yet (Amarillo,TX) BUT I am currently in Austin where Sprint Spark and Spark Turbo are active. My question is, how in the hell do you know if Spark is Active on the phone??? Ever since I got the phone (brand new) I've had the little Sun spinning but my speeds haven't been any different. Does the icon light up or something?? I'm on 4.4.2 KK, so the icon is solid white/grey ish, so does it change colour or does it make a sound or something??

Spark is the sun spinning animation
Sent from my LG-LS995 using XDA Free mobile app
And it doesnt make and noise or animations. Im not sure about the speed changing though. Although it is definitely active
Sent from my LG-LS995 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Well, see that's what gets me. I know for a FACT Amarillo does not have spark and yet the sun doesn't go away and it constantly spins, I get to Austin and it is the same thing. Man I wish this thing had an actual animation to know when your connected..like it could have changed colour to yellow or something.

Are you a twin? I know 2 sets of twins who.are actually cousins and I bust their balls at work and make them think they are wearing pink shirts when they are red. Lol
They are all color blind.

It would probably be a lot easier to modify the color or shade of the arrows. Are there any color schemes that work for you?
Hmm.. just a color more distinct from the blue of ics. I mean, I still want it to look good. But more stand outish. not navy blue, or purple, or gray. I think those would be hardest for me to see. And I'm not sure wwhat else would go well with it.
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using XDA App
Yeah, that kinda puts me in a tough spot. I don't necessarily have an eye for color coordination and I don't know if you're fully or partially colorblind and if certain colors may work better for you than others. I'll play around with a few things and see if something seems like it would work, starting with brighter hues since I get the impression that it's the lack of contrast that's bothering you the most. In the meantime, if you have an RGB or HEX color value you'd like, it'd make things a lot easier.
Nawh I don't /: but I get the feeling a white might work. Maybe a white with a slight hue.
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using XDA App
I just inverted the color of the arrows to white and retained the transparency level of the original arrows. Hopefully this is of use for you.
So this is a dumb question, but how do I now install this

Since its not in a flashable zip you need to push it through adb or use a root file explorer to replace it.

Which command did you use? Push or install? If you used push, you may also need to clear your cache in case the APK signature doesn't match up with the one your current ROM is using, which would cause the problem you're experiencing. Which ROM are you using?
make sure you reboot your phone too
I moved it to system/app within my phone, rebooted, and my status bar was gone

Anyone that upgraded today have the same issue as me?
After double checking my Android version in settings and seeing 4.4.2, I fast clicked the version number to her to the K that spins. Well, my K doesn't spin at all. I have to long press it to get to the red Android sign, and then long press again to get to the android tiles underneath. My tiles don't float around though. My wife's Note 3 upgraded fine and the easter egg works perfectly. This is making me paranoid that something else isn't right with my upgrade... I just haven't found it yet.

Mine spins, shows k. Tap it, spins. Tap and hold for red Android
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I know what it should do. My wife's works fine. Mine doesn't. Mine doesn't spin, and my tiles aren't animated.

Sounds petty, but I'm just worried about what else didn't update correctly. May have ATT reflash in store.

They won't be able to. As of right now, KK is OTA only.

Could there be a problem with your screen's touch sensitivity? Have you tested that in other contexts? Or tried using the stylus with the Easter Egg?
Thanks. K now spins, but the second easter egg (android logo tiles) do not animate... Aka fly across the screen when you click them. Instead they blink in and out. No animation. Interesting.

Fixed. I had animation scales, rendering etc turned off in developer mode prior- in orde to make phone run faster. Good lesson.

Thank you! I am trying that but nothing happens. I'm tapping it as fast as I can.
My Note 3 is completely stock. I know the Developers is turned on but have no idea what that even means.
Thanks again!

As long as you have a Note 3 that has been upgraded to 4.4.2, you can access this easter egg (or any device that has 4.4, not just a Note). If you go to YouTube and search for '4.4 easter egg’, there will be a ton of vids of people showing how to get there.

how to change icon on menu lg g2 thanks
Hold down on icon without moving it's location. Then let up. It should then put a little purple paintbrush in the corner. Now tap again and you should have the option to tweak it. Or just change your theme.

On kitkat you can't change reach icon to a different theme but you can change the icon within the dance theme. I'm not sure what they were thinking making a change like that...

I thought I was goin crazy cause I couldn't pull up the icon themes on kitkat! I couldn't find anything on the internet about it I thought j got a bad update... lol there's a app called icon changer on the play store it's pretty awesome! U can change the icon the name make custom bookmarks & shortcuts I have like 5 icon pack attached to it. Whoever took the icon changer theme away from kitkat needs to be shunned!

I'm on kit Kat and can still change individual icons on the stock launcher without 3rd party apps....

Can u change to a marshmallow icon running the LG home screen? Or a biz icon on a marshmallow home theme? If so I'm jealous!

If you can pull the individual icons out of the themes, then yes. You could crop from a screen shot.

HEY!!! Looks like u can! How? The info button used to pop up all the icon themes but now it does nothing? I call investigate cause I thought Google & xda would be flooded with complaints but j didn't see anything when I looked up why I couldn't! Shinanagins I tell ya!

I have an ATT Device a Verizon device and two tablets.
All Samsung except for the Nexus 7.
What's the best way to achieve calling calling through wifi? What's the best app?
I'm aware of Skype and Google Voice I guess.
Is ATT ever considering turning this feature on like T mobile and Sprint?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using xda app-developers app
They dont need it, simple as that. The average user has no trouble getting an AT&T signal inside their home. T-Mobile is another story, due to their high frequencies which do not travel far.
I guess I never thought of it like that. But that makes perfect sense.
T mobile and Sprint have the worst signal lol

I have a standard M8 and the Harman Kardon version, but the screen on the HK has a gross dirty tint to it. The auto-brightness is off and screen turned up full. It seemed like something was off, but holding the phones next to each other is a stark difference.
The picture has the HK in the front, and doesn't do it justice.
Anyone else notice this?
