[Q] So here I am, stuck in Fastboot...

I rooted my HTC One (europe vodafone) a few weeks ago and I really want to go back to Stock.
I have relocked using cmds i found on here, but now the phone just boots into the bootloader as shown below.
Any ideas what to do next?
i tried using this RUU_M7_UL_JB_50_HTC_Europe_1.28.401.7_Radio_4A.13.3231.27_10.31.1131.05_release_310878_signed.exe but it failed.

and i'd be more tha happy to back to the stock vodafone rom, im not really bothered about branding...just cannot find one that works

You're S-ON, and on hboot 1.54 which means you can't get S-Off, to be able to run a non vodafone RUU.
EDIT: why do you need to go back to stock? Anyway, you could use one of mike's stock ROMs from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2224752

OK, so where do i get the Vodafone Ruu? Direct from Vodafone?

No, they leak if you're lucky but I don't think a Vodafone one has leaked for a while. Can you type this when connected in fastboot:
fastboot getvar all
and post what you get back (but leave out the serial number and IMEI)

You're on 2.24.161.1, there's no RUU or CWM backup as far as i know.
I think the closest to get to stock is to use mike's stock ROM.
EDIT: there is a CWM backup for 1.29.161.7, but you can't really use that because it will break your touchscreen drivers.
EDIT 2: don't know if that would work, but if you have a OTG, I read somewhere someone used it with a mouse to get the official OTA

Just went back to unlocked. a very pointless exercise on my part, seems there isnt a way to go back to stock.

This highlights the importance of taking a nandroid before doing anything

Well as stated you can buy an otg cable and upgrade with a mouse

Hi All, Firstly let me say thankyou for the years of help i've received from all on this site...
Ok so without thinking i went ahead and tried rooting my HTC one (M7)
It didnt work but now i have TAMPERED and UNLOCKED,
I would like to know if there is a way I can Remove both the above and revert back to how it was? if so can i also remove the Clockwork Recovery as well?
I just want it to go back to how it was before i started messing.

Should be pretty simple
just relock your bootloader with fastboot
fastboot oem lock
then flash this

{Q] HTC One M7 Firmware upgrade from 3.17 S-On HB 1.55

Question: I'd to upgrade firmware to the newest one, but I have S-On and when I boot into the Fastboot it reads.

I just checked my Recovery and it's Team Win Recovery Project v2.8.4.0
I'd like to turn S-Off and being as I've already installed a custom recovery on it months ago (Jan) and I updated and attempted to turn S-off last week when I installed Viper Rom 8.0. I went with the OEM Method of attempting to unlock the phone by going to HTC's site and downloading the unlock and it ran but still showed S-On in the "M7_UL PVT Ship S-On RH" part when I checked after running the OEM Method of turning S-Off.
I'm confused by if I'll have to install REVONE and if I have to update each firmware in order or can just go to the latest version of the firmware can someone point me the right direction please?
Also I have the ATT Version but my carrier is TMobile does this matter when picking a firmware and/or Rom?

There is no "oem" method for S-OFF, htcdev.com is to unlock the bootloader not to s-off, your bootloader is already unlocked.

Revone will only s-off hboot 1.44, you are on 1.55 use rumrunner s-off or sunshine s-off.

You won't receive ota update on an at&t phone if you ar enot using the at&t network, better to convert your phone to another version like the Developer Edition version after achieving s-off.

Hboot 1.57 suggest a 6.xx.502.x version, you can't flash a 1.xx.502.x RUU, its a downgrade. Dowgrading requires S-OFF. Use a 6 or 7.xx.502.x RUU.

You could to try flash 1.44 HBOOT, then give it a try (not to try a RUU flash, but back to stock, update everything and then try to RUU if needed)

i downloaded the file (RUU_M7_UL_L50_SENSE60_MR_Cingular_US_7.23.502.4_R adio_4M.32.3218.06_10.46.1718.01L_release_449059_s igned_2) and ran it as administrator.But it is showing the error :

These errors don't look right at all. Did you read the "How to flash" instructions on the link @alray gave you.
Also be sure to use an admin cmd window

'How to flash' in the link is for zip RUU. my one is EXE file...!
PLZ TELL ME HOW TO GET RID OF THIS ERROR....!!

Try with another computer, looks like a Windows problem not related to the ruu itself. Do you have the latest C++ redistr installed on your computer?

Hlw Unfortunately my brother brickd m7 , I mean formated system from twrp. now I can't flash any RUU.exe(showed error 155) or Zip(showed error: too many links)
Adb also not working in twrp
& otg also

Error 155= You're trying to flash a RUU with an unlocked bootloader. If your phone is S-ON, like yours, you must have a locked or re-locked bootloader to flash a RUU. You can relock the BL using "fastboot oem lock" command.
Make sure you have the right RUU version for your phone before. RUU version must be same or newer than you firmware version. Your phone CID and MID must be compatible for the RUU version you want to use. If you're unsure, post the output of "fastboot getvar all" (hide your imei and serialno before posting).

You must have at least hboot 1.57 to flash a 7.xx.xxx.x RUU. try to find a 6.xx.502.x or 5.xx.502.x version (must be a signed version since your phone is s-on)

Didn't found any 6.xx or 5.xx ruu for M7_UL
if you have time, can you find it for me?
& another question can I upgrade hboot with S-On?
