I am a member of the Carbon Team, and we have the rom across many devices...
I have cooked up the I9305 rom by request, but I forgot who my testers were...
If any of you are feeling brave, you wanna flash this rom?

I'd like to know a little about it before speaking up to become a beta tester, and as I didn't hear about this ROM before (coming from a not so well known HTC phone) please do at least a little advertising

Hmm, looks very interesting. Alas, I'm very busy ATM and couldn't afford to do extensive testing or have a broken device.

Have set it up for nightlies, but they keep failing... Will need to look into it more.. I was told the test build I had had some errors in the source...
Once I get another build, I will post it out for you guys to test...

When is this perfect rom coming to I9305?? I can't wait, i had it installed on my I9300 and i think it's perfect! The sooner the better!
I would be happy to test although I've not specifically beta tested any roms before. What information would you need or is it general bug finding?

We're having a bit of difficulty with the kernel at the moment, but looking to resolve it. The device is on our nightly list, but fails every night cos of the kernel..

I've some time today, and maybe some time on sunday :c But I guess that's all time I have this week for testing Carbon :3

Well, I'm at my girlfriends place atm, but I managed to try the ROM quickly.
Seems like WIFI isn't connecting properly, FC on android.process.media in Settings, some kind of FC in app drawer aswell, also FC in Gplay!
I'll send you some logcats when I come home tomorrow!

I have compiled the first ever unofficial build of the rom from unpublished Gerrit sources and guess what, for the p880.

Your a legend Adam, im very optimistic about this project and we must one of the first to get it! hows it run so far?
All standard features that I use works, except BT which is not that hard to fix. Some patches are needed and it'll work. Performance is crappy, because there is a bug in the kernel that makes only one core to be enabled. Will be pushing fixes and improvements here and there as it gets running. I'm really excited to work on this, this is sth I've been waiting for a long time.

I don't know what's going on, how can this already be smoother then the latest cm10.2 nightlies? I'm very impressed so far. I was just flashing to test but I think she's a keeper.
Only thing I've found is a little bit of lag on the default launcher.

If you flash iodak v08 (or probably any other custom kernel), the lag is gone.

It's semi-official. Built from unpublished code.
Multilanguage, translations will be improved with time.

@adam77 when the Rom will official release for our phone can you please then delete useless part like:
On Pac Man Rom we have Paranoid,Aokp and CyanogenMod in one Rom and in Aokp Settings under LED the Led Test don't work because these features is for phones with colorable led.
And so features are unless when Omni Rom will maybe have some of this useless features can you please remove?

I won't have to delete them, they will be hidden by default on devices which don't support those features. This is a very early build, the code wasn't even published yet when I compiled it.
BTW new build coming tomorrow. Fixed BT, BT tethering and Torch. Also, the device tree is now ready to be forked into official repos. Will update my GitHub tomorrow.

@Adam77Root how is camera in this rom? Other roms based in CM the camera is not so perfect when compared with stock.

SO guys ,as we know 4.4 official custom roms of paranoid android ,cm11,omnirom(feature complete),Aokp etc are still not out.. So i thought lets make a thread as to which rom is everyone currently using till the official roms come out

I am currently on psx rom with psk and i am loving it .. faced no bugs as yet and i definitely find it better than the stock rom because of its various customizations etc .. ..sadly this may be the last public release of the pure speed x rom .. so go check it out ..

These type of threads, including the existing one, aren't really allowed. They're too close to "what's the best".. the only reason we allowed that other one was because of the large amount of threads we were closing with similar topics.. Please continue to use that one.

I have been trying a lot of ROMs in the last weeks however - for me - I have found "danisariandi's" REVELATION HD ROM to be the fastest and most stable one!
I have been using the latest .500L which can still be downloaded in the thread, however, due to different problems which I didnt experience in the previous version RV.12.2.234N I would like to install this version. Unfortunately the developer has vanished due to different reasons. So my question:
Does ANYONE still have the REVELATION HD RV.12.2.234N ZIP!? Or/and can provide a download link!?
I would be really happy, thank you!

Stock kernels. I'd recommend vKernel version 1.2.5.

If this ROM is based on stock .140 then the newest vkernel (now n kernel) should work.

yes. however with other roms (e.g. xblaster and REVELATION 500L) i had trouble with 1.4.0 and went back to DOOM!

There was no USB-Mass Storage Option, I fixed this by implementing USB-Mass Storage through Titanium Backup which I had backuped from the latest Xblaster Release. It acturally worked.
Then there is no Loudspeaker during call - basic hands free option doesnt work! Thats a very basic feature for me. I had random reboots and FC with vKernel but with DOOM, so far, it seems fine!
Other than that it worked quite well, however i believe these problems mentioned above didnt exist with .234N.
Im still looking for the perfect ROM since CM unfortunately drains the battery and xblaster has many problems with e.g. handsfree call option and Hotspot function this is my last resort!

Hey thanks for the advice, however, in a short period of testing, I did not share your experience with this ROM. It was unstable and I had trouble with the design and basic functions. it has been 2 months since i have tested it, was there any progress made!?
I am now using revelation hd 234N with vKernel 1.4.0. Let's see...

Edit yes, KitKat launcher and more. I thought you needed mainly reliability and this is the best one u unique.

For the language you can change to english in the setting and for gapps you can take the pa gapps

it is based on amigo2.4.20 and it is a beta version but still it is smooth and stable for daily uses
Can we use custom kernel like boeffla of arter kernel with this ROM??????????????

nope u cant and u dont have to cz it is already smooth and fast wid the kernel provided by the rom
This is a Good ROM, But Its not Based on 4.4.4..

Google account cannot be setup even if you flash gapps. Dont have email application. FC in calendar and Android AOSP keyboard. Too many Chinese characters. It is not for daily use. This one with 4.2.2 base it works http://www.romzj.com/rom/22872.htm

it is also a stable rom for those who dont want gapps i have used the rom for 1 day without any bugs..and thank you for sharing the info ... we actually need a developer from xda who can mamage gapps for this rom... and for the chinese character if u change the language to english you eill only get chinese character at lockscreen and in some other chinese apps that ee dont need.....

change the download path to another directory. it worked for me pretty good and the speed was also around 500 kbps

for me within 2 hours or by 2 hours my phone was fully charged with the original charger
