Cases

Hey,
There's a lot of brands out there...any recommendations for a hard case company?
Well, not necessarily hard...but what I'm looking for is something that will allow me to keep my phone in its case when I use it. Even better if the keyboard can slide out.
I was thinking something along the lines of a flip case perhaps?

I got that one, does require you to open it for the screen or keyboard, but it's not bad.

smart cover case?!

hey all!!
i was searching for a cover for my n7!
there are a few things that a i want it to have, but i cant decide!!!!
see the second post and you'll know why am i confused?!
some of them look just like each other! what is the difference? which one should i choose? what can i do?
1. smart cover:
i heard that there are smart cover for n7, though i searched ebay and amazon, but couldn't find anything i wanted.
2. slim:
i use my n7 mounted in my car sometime, so it shouldn't be big and thick! else i think it wont fit in my dock anymore...
3. designed for n7:
i saw some cases which i could fit it in, but since they were not designed for n7, so they wouldn't have any space for speaker, or volume or etc.
4. stand:
not very important, but if it has the ability to work as a stand in different angles, it would be great
5. close able:
you now, have something to grip the edge of the tab so the cover wont open by itself.
6: ?!!
i dont want to put my tab in it , i want it to have grips to have my tap from edges, so i can remove my tab whenever i want!
if you have a case you like, can you please give me a link, so i can choose?
i am really sorry if this is not cool, but after a while this forum can be changed into "all you need to know about nexus7 covers" or i dont know, "nexus 7 covering thread" or sth like that. thanks.

I love my Moko case. Flip for landscape, no rotating thing etc. Has held up great.

no its not a spam, i see a lot of models available, and i dont know which one to buy, i'm confused. i was wondering if people could help with a tiny review of their cases, like the above ones, so others can read them, and decide which one to buy, or at least help me choose!

i found the same design bu moko, poetic, easyacc, i-blason and etc.
which one is better?
and also when i looked at the images in poetic's official web site, the speakers cut, covered half of the devices speaker, but in amazon's pics, the cut is holes, on top of the speaker.
which one is it?!

I got a battery from them. I hope they have a case for Nexus 7 as they have for Nexus 4.

[Q] Wraps / Skins

Having just purchased the G watch R and being in the sign trade I am interested in producing various wraps (aka skins) for this particular watch.
Can anybody point me i. The right direction to obtain a technical drawing that contains all the dimensions of the watch and face etc.
This would be a great help and save me a lot of time in having to measure and 're draw the device myself

I did have a look through the site if it was a site based in the UK I would quite happily purchase one to measure up
I think the best thing to do is physically measure it when it arrives as it doesn't look like there is a render or drawing out in the open

Wallet-case with wake/sleep function?

I'm looking for a wallet-style case (with room for credit cards) with a built-in magnet, so that it can wake/sleep the screen when the case is opened. The style of case I'm looking for: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Luxury-Flip...XT1541-/181838860678?var=&hash=item2a5670d186
The official flip-case has this functionality, but other than that I've only seen 1 other case which has it.. The Nilkin Smart Flip which is really nice, but seems to lack the slots for credit cards and money: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NILLKIN-Sma...rd-Gen-/262049446910?var=&hash=item3d035d3bfe
Has anyone come across something like that? Or maybe it's too soon?

I think essentially even the cheap flip ones you can find will do that also as the flip cover overlaps the proximity sensor, just like if it was in your pocket which our device does already to rely on notifications. Would also like to know though as moto won't ship to Canada and I'm not fluent on online shopping.

I ended up buying a standard generic-looking wallet-case which doesn't have wake/sleep function but works fine otherwise: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B012NLSAZ0?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00
I then installed Gravity Screen and tweaked the settings so it wakes/sleeps the screen when it detects the case via the proximity sensor. Works fine

[Pouch View Project] Note 5

Hi comunnity,
I'm a big fun of Samsung phones and since S4 I've notice how good Flip Covers and SView covers help in not permit our face sweat soak all the display. However, it's uncomfortable to deal with that thing along the day turning to front and back every time, some times all most going throw the floor by accident (happen to me), and don't protect the phone as can open the flip and nock the display on floor.
So I think:
Is positive because don't soak the display with my Sweat, but don't protect the phone and it's pretty unproductive along the day flipping that thing.
So I start to look the pouch of my BlackBerry Z30 and have the perception that what a great thing they do here... you have a thing that turnoff the display while inside and you can talk with the person with the phone inside this (but wasn't make for it).
So I start to find pouch with SView, just find the "Crumena" by Spigen for S4, that was discontinued. (Pictures attached)
Now I want to create a Pouch View for Note 5 and would like to receive ideas and receive helps in design by daily user's.
I would like to start using a modify Flip Cover View of note 5 and adapt.
Somethings I have to understand before, how works the recognition of the case by Samsung? Chip or by magnet?

It's an interesting idea but I personally wouldn't enjoy having to remove my phone from a pouch case regularly. I can see this as an option when you're traveling and are not using your phone as much like when you're going thru security at the airport and transiting from gate to gate. It seems like it can serve a niche purpose but (and this is just my opinion) it doesn't offer a practical service for my needs/wants in a daily phone case. I do wish ya luck, though.

Don't you think that the usability of SView case would help you?

Personally, no. I never felt the need to even try any of those SView cases because they just were not practical for my habits. The way I use my Note 5, the way I customize the themes (created from scratch on my PC), the way I respond to notifications, all of that doesn't go well with how SView cases are meant to be used. They just don't fit my personal preference with how I use my phone.
Using the case I'm currently using:
along with a tempered glass screen protector is (personally) a much more practical setup for my daily use of this device. But like I said, a pouch like you're proposing may be useful for special situations where you need to keep the phone more protected during transit in an airport (security) and things like that. Where you won't be using your phone as regularly because you're busy getting from one gate to another and settling into a seat on board a flight.
