This is based off of the stock 4.2.2 D959 T-Mobile LG G Flex software.
Its slightly modded, debloated, and deodexed.
Stock kernel, and boot.img .
F340 aboot for custom recovery by PLAYFULLGOD. thanks for the custom recovery, its saved me many a times.
I've pulled out most T-Mobile junk and other crap-pack uselessness.
Modified with Xposed using Gravitybox, Hkthemer, XGELS, and all Xposed modules should be injected into the stock settings.
Added xPosed, Gravity box, XGELS, Google Now Launcher, Cobalt and Dnites Blue n Black leather theming through out. ANDROID L boot animation, and Original LG shutdown animation.
Everything works now even the stock flex theme weather widget.
special thanks to PLAYFULGOD, DFUSE, KINTWOFAN

Happy theming. I'm still working on the heavily themed version. Having issues getting all the theming to stick. So be patient and play around with this.
If you're on KK 4.4 then use Dfuse's easy way to downgrade to 4.2.2 to get custom recovery and flash till your little hearts content. As always I'm not responsible for what you do to your device.
cool stuff!
when you get a chance, no hurry, can you post a screenie or 2? Curious as to how heavy you themed it!
It's tempting to try, but my phone had horrible screen issues when on JB, and they have gone away with KitKat, so I cant decide if I want to downgrade and try it..
Thanks
Good job brother... Thank you
Looking forward to trying this. I got the shakes from not flashing for 6 months. lol

Lmao I know the feeling brotha I've been flashing SuperSU.zip over and over just to flash something. I'm at work and can't upload it from here. But as soon as I get home around midnight (central standard time) I'll upload it and post the link.
Use some sick leave and leave early hahahaha. sorry... but seriously..... ok ill wait
wakey wakey...
Lmao I know I know. I said I would upload it last night but I went all OCD on the themed version and can't get some of the themes and mods to stick when I compile. So I would redo it then some stuff that wouldn't stick before did and others that stuck before didnt. Its bein a 8!+(#. And thought I was so close to having it right I was waiting to do both at the same time since my hotspot is my wifi , I couldn't keep rebooting and testing the themed one while the stock deodexed was uploading. But I will , and I promise, upload the stock first before I work on the other one tonight.
Stock is nothing special, just heavily debloated and deodexed. In the flashabke zip format we are all used to.

I solved that issue by getting a male micro usb to female USB cord. Its about 3" long and I plug a 16 gig flash/thumb drive into it and keep all my flashable stuff and a lot of music on it. The flex has no problem syncing to it but if you use it as an otg (with the side port micro USB for charging simultaneously) I'm almost positive we will need kernel support for the charger to actually charge. But just the adapter works fine. Ha LG take that I do have an ext. Sdcard.

hey man nice, id be willing to try, just one thing, i already flashed the OLYFR_U4_1.5.2 SBF on my phone. will it work with that? And three more things: the kernel is still the same as with the stock "roms", i can jsut reflash the OLYFR_U4_1.5.2 SBF if something wont work/phone gets bricked, to restore it back to the "normal" state and for the last part i have the adeo mod installed right now (can i install it over that or shoudl i reflash the stock first)?
thanks, keep up the good work

I'm not sure if it'll work perfectly with the new SBF. It can't hurt to try! If you know what you're doing, the backup will save all of your /system/app and /system/framework. Then you can adb push that stuff back if your phone is borked.
Atrix cookies!!! XD lol so know what im doing at work today XD looks awesome downloading now
very nice! Finally a custom ROM! thanks!
Everyone be warned: I haven't tested this on anyone's phone aside from my own. It could be a total disaster.
I need feedback ASAP once you've installed it!

Sort of same question...is this like a patch or a brand new image (meaning it erases everything we have and we should backup/start over)?

Hey guys, compiled the AOKP basic Quad Lock screen and made it flashable via CWM for the ones who love the stock "flavour" and sticks to the ota rom like me.
This can be used with stock DEODEX and ODEX roms aswell.

Look into your /system/framework/ dir, if there are many .odex files you probably got an odexed rom, else is deodexed.
I've flashed it and everything is perfect. There isn't any lag when launching the phone/message/camera app with this lock screen.
I'm currently on a ODEX rom (official 4.0.4) and running air kernel V4.0
Thanks!
And btw, post more things for ODEX roms!
*******ooooops, found a bug (glad I made an nand backup)**********
When the phone is on the dock, the lock screen doesn't work properly. The lock screen seems ok, everything is on it's place, but the shortcuts aren't working.
-When I use the camera shortcut, nothing happens;
-When I use the phone shortcut, nothing happens;
-When I use the message shortcut, I get to the phone app instead of the message app.
-And finally when try to unlock the phone, I get to the camera app.
Anyway, if you don't have a Nexus S dock, you shouldn't have any problems.
Thank you for your report.
Yes, this is not meant to be used in Landscape, ICS lockscreen rotate isn't enabled by default. Also didn't know the existance of such dock got my NS since less then a month.
Took a look again at the code and figured out wich is the problem:
the lockscreen has fixed position that overlap each other when in landscape.
Normally it doesn't matter cos Unlock goes from 0 to 1, and camera from 2 to 3.
But the problem exists when you add more shortcut:
As u can see is easy to understand why 2 were working (wrong) and 2 not at all.
This would require some more coding.

Thanks for the answer. Well, as much as I enjoyed the new lock screen, I won't be able to use it since my phone is most part of the day docked.
About the dock, it's very simple, and only charges the phone. And while the phone is docked, you don't have access to the volume keys , perhaps a design problem.
(link to the dock)
And also thanks for the ODEX mods!

Atm one overwrite the other since they involves the same files, you've to mod those files with both mods at same times to make them working like i have on my phone.
is there a way to revert back without nandroid? I get to the new lock screen, then it says apex launcher stopped working, then android keyboard, then reboots. Rinse and repeat

it was nandroid time. tried again, same thing. Not sure why it was doing what it was doing.
Nandroid again. This time, I took my framework, decompiled it, changed the lock screen rotate, compiled, signed, flashed. Same thing. Why or what would cause it to get to the lock screen then just reboot??
@technogravy will post soon a zip with both mods.
@black please report wich rom and wich file are you using , will investigate the issue.

Im on stock 4.0.4 GSM
I know yours had more changes, mine only had one change, and I even decompiled an compiled a untouched one and got the same results.
I decompiled framework-res.apk
changed <bool name="config_enableLockScreenRotation">true</bool>
saved recompiled signed and flashed
Now, Im a total noob at this, so I may have messed up somewhere, but my mod did the same thing yours did so thats where Im at.
Maybe later today, ill nandroid again, go to 100 percent stock, and try again. Now that I think of it, I have a battery circle mod that gave some issues and the guy who fixed it did something with the framework file too. :/
@black you can read the explanation few post above. This is not intended to work in landscape mode. It would require a complete code rewrite as for now the positions are fixed. So if you set that value to true it'not gonna work. And if you use other mods there's always a chance something won't work, this is the main issues of odex roms.

it was in upload. check again! should be fine now...
After installing the Fixpack i got the whole time and com.android phone Error:
,,Unfortunaly, the process com.android.phone has been stopped." :/
it is the old phone.apk pack! maybe you can delete phone.apk on it! or don't flash any fixpack. now i'm installing rom and i see
Okey i know how to solve this problem
1.Flash the ROM without the fixpack
2.Start the phone and enable root permissions
3.Install a file manager which can change your system files (Root Explorer etc)
4.Go to \system\app and delete the "Phone.apk"
5.Restart your phone
Well phone gives fc only once, and that in first boot. After that it should be fine. And if you dont flash the fix pack you won't get deep sleep, mic in call and minimum brightness fixed!!!

Hello everyone! I wanted to say a short goodbye but I dont think theres a need to create a new thread for this kind of a thing..
Yesterday I got my Galaxy Nexus, Ive been charging it until today.. Anyways, Ill still be coming here, as grift previously said "Ill never leave my first forum", Im not gonna leave it, Im not sure if I can be as half as active as Grift is though...
Theres one thing I wanna say about the Gnex, It is simply awesome. Awesome display, great design(outer look and its not like the galaxy s i9000, you dont feel like its a peace of plastic when you touch the battery door) etc. etc.. If you happen to be getting a new phone just go for it.. Youll love it!!
Good bye once again!

Looking forward to seeing what you all have come up with. I love streaming now with my new internet connection.

Sweeet!! Can't wait!
Should I hold off on installing 1.1.1 and wait for this or will 1.1.1 take the OTA updates?
I managed to find a couple of old serial numbers in Corpus Christi Best Buy while on vacation there last week and my OTG cable is going to be here this afternoon. Maybe I'll just flash one of them and hold off on the other one for now.
Thanks for all the work.

I really can't think of a reason to wait. You'll have to flash either PwnedCast or the rooted 13300 stock firmware in order to preserve root, so might as well do it. Unless you're going to leave the other Chromecast(s) in the box. Unless you plan to sell them, I'd open them to check that they're functional (don't set up, just make sure it boots and gives picture) while you're still in the return period (granted, it's holiday returns now, so you have until January).

Thanks, I already have the PwnedCast bin file flashed to a drive so I'm going to go ahead and do it to at least one. There were about 5 serial numbers that should have been known to work and I purchased the earliest two. I suppose I should have bought them all but I just put them back on the pegs. The two I got were pretty far back on the pegs so I'm hoping I'm just lucky. I'll verify that they work before flashing and won't make the mistake of setting them up like I did my original two that I purchased.

Remember that the first time is a two-step process:
Write the Flashcast .bin to the USB drive, then boot Flashcast on a Chromecast which then preps the drive to accept eureka_image.zip (mods and firmware)
Plug the drive back into a computer and copy the PwnedCast .zip to the Flashcast-prepared drive as eureka_image.zip
From there you boot the drive on all your Chromecasts to install PwnedCast, including the Chromecast you used to do the above (because the first Flashcast boot just prepped the drive, it didn't install PwnedCast).

Yep, I read that on the other threads. Thanks, I just flashed one. I'm going to go update the serial number thread.
Just to anyone who was struggling to see in our lil teaser https://twitter.com/Dev_Team_Eureka/status/408760543432814593/photo/1
SUPER EARLY RELEASE -
System image ONLY must be flashed thru fastboot - please dont do anything with this if you are not comfortable working in fastboot and restoring factory images.
Here it is
OmniRom for PixelC
Instructions:
Extract zip it is not flashable!
flash system.img with fastboot - ie fastboot flash system system.img
boot twrp
wipe data/cache
flash opengapps - the arm64 android 6.0 version I used stock
restart the device
there will be error dialogs due to bad permissions for the new gapps - its not my fault
tap ok often on those prompts and enter settings between them,
now navigate to apps and tap the three dots at the top left and show system apps
tap setup wizzard and give it all its permissions
give other google services apps permissions as well
enjoy your tablet
Known bugs
Permissions bug with gapps on fresh install
Settings app crashes when you tap the "more" button under interface
Settings performance options can not be set because ramdisk needs to be modified to support the feature

Wow ! Congratulations ??
So we are getting a custom ROM finally Thank you very much!
It's a shame: The Pixel C ist the best Android Tablet on the market but it gets almost no community support, because it costs a few bucks more than the usual cheap china crap
i think the bootloader situation is more detrimental to us than the lack of pixel c owners. even chainfire won't mess with it and he owns a pixel.
nice to see a custom rom finally, but it puts the navigation buttons in the middle. that's a step backwards in my opinion.

Nav bar tablet mode is a changable feature in settings
I was at work for 13 hours today so no time for anything else, I can upload a system.img tomorrow if anyone is interested it just needs flashed thru fastboot then you gotta manually wipe data and flash gapps and manually set permissions for gapps I'll see how much time I can set aside later this week for a better method. I pulled the source for depth charge and I'll dig in and see if I can figure out how to use it it's kind of annoying that there's no documentation included how hard is it to write a readme sheesh

This isnt a full rom yet so much as a system.img it still uses the stock kernel so you get whatever that supports for now.
I'm uploading JUST the system.img right now I'll link it shortly.
*and it's up check first post.
Awesome!!!
I'm patiently waiting for updates because I'd love to use this without the listed bugs This tablet really needs a bad ass ROM to unlock it's full potential. Not rushing you obviously, good work takes time!

Sorry been swamped I picked up a 2000 beetle for $600 and am ripping the cylinder head off it now, and I've been working my usual 50-60 hours a week too. Ive been running this daily it works great installation is a bit messy tho I'll get to it as soon as I can
My C just arrived today. I'm very happy to see an Omini ROM available. I run Omni as my DD on my Nexus 6. Can't wait to try this.
I am very excited to see where this ROM goes.
Much excite! Impatiently waiting with patience.

What exactly is causing the issue with the bootloader?

Pixel C was developed as a Chrome OS device, so it has a Chrome OS bootloader. Don't know the implications of that, but apparently it complicates things.
Why should I flash this?
Is there any feature list I missed? Wifi/Touchscreen fixed?
