Hi
Same thing here. Happens 4 times so far. And any time it happens, it starts to reinstall a lot of apps of other devices I don't need in the camera. Really annoying. Hope Samsung will fix the bug asap.

I looked at the k zoom and to be honest I think I'm gonna go away from a camera / phone and stick with my dslr
Not much of an improvement over the original samsung camera such a. Shame

Mine loses my Google account every 1-3 days. Once it stayed for a week!
Annoying that I have to keep going into the Settings/Accounts and re-add it. It is the only account that gets 'lost'. I have Dropbox and Samsung account on the camera since day one and they are still there.
Oddly enough, I have not heard any other discussions of this other than here; that I am glad I found.
It's weird how settings all of a sudden get removed ?

Exactly.
I did manage to find several other folks on Android Central.com forums that report the very same issue.
No answers though.
Ended up buying another galaxy 2 amazon is a German version (they did refund me £68 when I complained) and I can confirm the German one does the same this is DBT VERSION not BTU so it is definitely a firmware issue

Might have solved the issue it seems that Facebook is causing the issue - I've removed Facebook app and haven't had one single issue with Google logging out .. can anyone experiencing the issue confirm that this is a sort of a fix until Samsung issue a patch

It keeps forgetting my google account even without Facebook app... In fact when I first got it I entered the data, it all worked; went on vacation, when I got there, I had to enter it again. 8 consecutive times. Then it remembered. Until today... Contacted Samsung support, let's see what they say.

I'm in the same position. Even without FB I keep losing my Google data. Please feed back on what Samsung support say!
I never have had FB app installed yet have this issue.
Via a tech chat session, a Samsung support tech told me to force stop and clear data/cache on the Google Account Manager app. Seemed like a reasonable solution, but it didn't work/last overnight. What was interesting is that there was literally no delay in the chat when I posted the problem and the tech offered that solution. Clearly, they are aware of the issue. Now they just need to solve it.
I think I've discovered a work-around solution -- I turned off the Fast power-on feature (Settings/More/Power/Fast Power-on). I haven't haven't had the Google account disappear nor the wallpaper (which usually happens at the same time) in almost 48 hours. Of course, the caveat to that is that is that it can take longer to startup your camera after it's been idle for a while, but you can resolve that issue by increasing the auto power off from the default 1 hour to something more when you're going to be using the camera more frequently.
Same issue here, i am reflashing the rom and i will check off the fast power on if fix it.
Well, it's been about two weeks since I disabled the fast power-on feature and I've lost my Google settings only once during that time, so it appears to help.

I'm experiencing a problem when I launch the gmail app.The issue is this: once Gmail tries to open the screen on the Xoom 4G LTE turns white and blinks until I close the app. I'm running the Gmail app ver. 3.2.6. I've removed my gmail account from the Xoom then synced it back and it worked fine for part of the day and now it's back to the blinking every time I open gmail. Furthermore, the gmail app crash but not report is possible... and sometimes (like now) the app works just fine...
(if you know a good app for gmail account let me know please)
Thank you

This thread is 3 months old now, and I am pretty sure the problem for most of us is fixed. Have you tried updating the Gmail application from the store?
Anyone else having problems with the play store tonight? I did DG's root earlier, but I think it's unrelated because I didn't notice it until tonight.
I've tried clearing cache and data, in the play store and google services. I've even tried removing and adding my google account with mutliple reboots.
It fixed my original error [RPC:S-5:AEC-0], and now I'm just getting a server error (500).
Anyone else notice this? I want to know if it's google and I need to be patient, or if it's just me and I need to keep troubleshooting.
Thanks!

I was 10 seconds from starting a thread myself, getting the 500 error myself as well. I tried all of the following:
1. Go to settings -> Applications -> Manage -> All -> Market
2. Press the Force Close button, press OK to acknowledge this is what you want to do.
3. Press Clear Cache, press OK if it asks you to confirm your actions
4. Exit the screen
5. Go to settings -> Accounts and Sync
6. Click your Google account
7. Press Remove at the top right corner. Press OK to confirm this is what you want to do.
8. Exit the screen
9. Launch Market
10. The Market app will ask you for an account. Put your Google information back in.
11. Once you put the account info in, you'll get the disclaimer. Press OK.
12. Now try to download an app.
But you said you tested it on a non-rooted phone and it gets the same error at least puts me at ease a little. Are you on a custom FW or Stock?
I am on the new root. I have an s4 one another line and it is not rooted at all and it is getting the 500 error

I'm convinced it's on Google's end. I started having problems on my 1st gen Nexus 7 tablet. After fighting it for a half hour I decided to see if my Evo 4G phone was also having problems, and sure enough it is too.

Hello, everyone! I was wondering if anyone else is having problems sending picture messages? I started having problems on Friday. I've reset the phone, powered it off for 5 minutes and turned off WiFi. The only thing that seems to get them to send is me taking the battery out and reinserting it. I just got this phone 2 weeks ago, and I'm kind of annoyed at this problem. I had the first generation Note before this, and never had any problems like this. Thanks to all who reply!!!
Sorry you're having trouble. No problem here though. I just took a picture, hit share and sent via stock messaging app just fine.

I've found that when using a 3rd party app like Chomp, I have to enter the APN settings manually under the 3rd party app. This first happened to me about a month ago and then recently when I went back to stock to get ready for the updates.

Hmmmm. I'm wondering if that was my problem. I may have froze the stock app when that was going on. Thanks for the tip.
absolutely. I read on here that disabling stock app/gallery would improve battery life, due to a scanning frequency, but yeah, it made it impossible to SMS pictures.

Oh the pitfalls of freezing apps.

How are people finding it?
I went from Beta 10 (bought my watch the day it came out)
-it was crap, buggy, slow, the app store made my phone hot and chewed the battery.
to Beta 7 (the release prior to "app store")
-no app store. instant responses. worked pretty well
to Beta 11
-still a bit slow, but the Pebble app behaved and battery use was okay. App store worked better (could scroll back and forth between watch faces)
to Official
-barely tested before an update came out
to Official.. (update 1?)
-is okay.. not as fast as Beta 7 still.
-Phone has started crashing.
-Powered off at 3am the other day (GSAM graph and Sleep as Android had data until then)
-Froze on the app store this morning. Then crashed.
..not sure whether I'll try uninstalling everything or perhaps flashing a new ROM.
Incidentally, I have a mate who won't move off of Beta 7
Official got an update today. Working very well so far
I changed my rom and it seemed to have fixed the problem I was having earlier.

After I received my Pebble, the firmware was updated to the latest version 2. I had been using with my Note 3 on stock KitKat and found that almost half the time, it will lose the bluetooth connection. Has anyone using Note 3 encounter this issue?
Today I got very frustrated with it and tried factory reset of the Pebble but still has same issue. I even tried Pebblebits but the issue remains.
I tried to flash the beta 9, 10, and 11 but didn't manage to flash. Is there anyway to go back to the last most updated version 1 firmware? The only reason I want to do that is to find out if my issue is Pebble or rom very issue.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
V2.0.2 firmware updated on my Pebble. Hopefully the bluetooth issue I had will be resolved.
Edit:
Did factory reset on my Pebble a few times but still cannot solve the problem.
Next, suspected that Notification Center seems to cause the BT disconnection, so I removed it. Tried other free notification apps but still had problem with BT disconnection.
Decided to purchase YaNC PRO and unfortunately still had BT disconnection.
The last straw was to reboot my Note 3.
Looks like the BT disconnection is gone. Notifications are also coming in now. Hopefully this situation continues.
Edit:
It's slightly improved but at times, I still face BT disconnections, ie notifications not sending to my Pebble even when the notification bar shows the Pebble is connected.
Of anyone has any suggestions, please share with me. Thank you.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
I have a disconnection too. But this is a data type connection. If I have weather on the watch it wont update, when I do a manual update on the watch it says disconnected. The way to get it back is to reboot the phone, or go to the support tab, have it check for a update, and let it force close, then its OK for a while. I'm currently use Kitkat (Custom ROM),unfortunately I had to remove weather from my watch.

I was worried because I just bought this Pebble and I thought mine was a faulty unit.
I"m using Pebble with my Galaxy S3 (rooted stock ROM) and I had several times problem with random disconnection and reconnection of BT connection with Pebbles.
Always solved by default reset of Pebble + removing / installation of Pebble application.
Hope that it will help sb who have same problem...
Long story short my messages app sucks! Short Story long I love the messages app but it don't love me back. I'm sure many of you will suggest that I use hangouts or chomp or textra or some other third party message app which I do but I really want to use the stock app. I'm using hangouts by default right now. That's bc my stock app started acting up about 2 months after use. It would just freeze while texting and doing all kind of weird things that it shouldn't do. I thought it was just my phone and hoped that lollipop would fix it and started using hangouts but lollipop isn't here. Furthermore I bought my wife a note about a month ago after convincing her to leave the iPhone (greatest thing she ever did besides marrying me) and her phone started doing the exact same thing. So I'm curious if anyone else experienced this. I've tried clearing cache, deleting old messages and googling a solution but came with no luck. So here I am reaching out to my fellow xda-ers to see if anyone else had the same problem or better yet a solution?

That's really strange. Are you both on T-Mobile? I have not used the stock app since day 1, and I don't like Hangouts, but I do have problems sometimes messaging with my girlfriend. We both have Note 4's with Textra, but she is on Verizon and I am on the big pink T. We had no problems when we both had T-Mobile.
What sorts of things is the stock messaging app doing? I've used it for months with no issues on stock deodexed NK4
Yeah we're both t mobile. Basically while your trying to type it'll freeze the phone for 30 secs to a couple of minutes to the point it's unusable. Sometimes everything you typed will catch up but sometime it will just force close
