[Q] Weird reboot Problem with Xperia V running custom rom - Sony Xperia T, TL, TX, V

My problem is weird so I'll try to explain it as best as I can , I have an xperia V currently running Dark Unicorns Rom , previously while running OmniRom my phone started having a reboot issue where it will randomly reboot , it might continue as normal or it might reboot again at the lockscreen or sony logo , but as long as it is connected to the charger this wouldn't happen , after disconnecting the charger it reboots again but never after the same interval , I thought the problem might be mechanical but this doesn't happen if i go to the recovery while running on battery . I've tried changing Roms , recoveries , deleting all data and nothing works . Thanks in advance for anyone that can help .
tl;dr : Phone exhibits symptoms of a defective battery but doesn't reboot if the recovery is open .

[Help] My X8 reboots once enable Wifi

My X8 phone runs in reboot loop once I turn on wifi. After on wifi, the phone reboot in few seconds. Then, it goes into "Free Xperia" & CM7 logo, and then reboot again as a loop.
My X8 phone is E15i, running CM7.1, with FXP 43 kernel.
I tested some features are working, like 3G, dial calls, speaker music, multi-touch (dual-touch?). I can even install apps from market via 3G.
So, I uses CWM to do "wipe data/factory reset". The phone can load up successfully again.
Does anyone know what's going on? Any solution?
Thank you very much!
No reply? oh, did I post in a wrong location?
Confused
DOnt know!
oh it's confusing? oh sorry
Basically, My X8 phone reboots immediately after I turned on wifi.
and it's running CyanogenMod 7.1 (Android ver 2.3.7), with FXP 43 kernel.
I am having the same problem
I am having the exact same problem on my LG G2x Domination build 79 as well.
Every time I turn my WiFi on, phone restarts it self
I tried pulling out the battery but that didn't fix it.
if anyone have any tips please help us out
Thank you
Yea, Wifi is still not working up to now :S
Any guess or any related hint I can refer to as well?
Now I mostly just use bluetooth to transfer apps XD
Well , did you try flashing another ROM ?
The ROM and kernel are very old with many bugs, the development of them stopped a long time ago. Flash this kernel and this ROM.
I am facing the same issue.
After installing the latest MiniCM and nAa Kernel, my phone started rebooting constantly -when enabling the wi-fi or Data. .
I have noticed that it works only on charger. I decided to re-flash to stock 2.1 but it did not help.
I also flashed Android 1.6 stock on the phone but it did not help.
It is like it has no battery power.... What can I do?
I
Okay all!
I had that prob when my phone on old kernel and ROM
Root n unlock BL
Flash the latest kernel
Backup!
Factory reset, etc
Flash ROM
Done!
Do not restore data in diferent kernel!
It make some error like wifi bug!

I did it with no success. Any other ideas?
Tried to use the stock kernel,nAa 13 With MiniCM (latest version) I am getting worried. What could have happened? The phone is working only on charger without reboot.
I even tried afls9 kernel+GDXv28b.
The steps i have performed:
1) Wipe data/factory reset
2) Wipe cache partition
3) Advanced - wipe dalvik cache
4) Wipe battery stats.
5) Flash rom + addons
Nothing happens. As soon as the USB is disconnected from the PC or Charger it starts constant reboot...... :crying:

I will do it tomorrow, because it is 2:30 am here. And yes. It is not restarting when it is charging.
I have a question - can this be a Baseband issue?

Force restart!!=((

hi all~ i used to use lewa rom ..but recently it keeps on force restart ( when gaming / using wifi or anything that makes my phone laggy ) so i gave up on lewa and gave s2 rom a try it's really is a good rom ! but the F restart problem is still there!! it happens when i reboot my device and if i touch my ace too many times it restarts again .. i have to give my phone a 5minutes rest time ..but just recently when i was uninstalling some apps ..it restarted again! wad the hell! any help??
Have u overclocked ??? And How did u root your phone??? Cfroot or upd.zip????
from XDA app
Press THANKS if I helped
i rooted using cf root ..it never restarted in the past ..only after updating lewa to 12.3.9 ...and i use z4image kernel
Its because of your kernel ... i think ...
try flashing other kernel and see if the problem continues

Need expert help battery run out screen flickering and bootloop related issue

since i bought my gnote even on ICS when the battery run out and get to 0% the phone perform unclean shutdown ( screen brightness changes frequently , touch malfunction and then the screen goes black ) but no boot loop on ics after upgrading to official android 4.1.2 jplsb via odin including the new bootloader the same happen when the battery run out but it is followed by a bootloop
this only happen when i continue using my phone at 1% then the battery run out while the screen still on.
if the phone was left on the table it will safely shutdown
( that annoying problem can only be solved by wiping and reflashing the rom )
my question is :
is there any hardware problem with my phone ?
is there any step i need to do before flashing again to avoid this problem?
my rom:
stock JB 4.1.,2 jplsb no root
sorry for my bad english
Instead of flashing rom again and again and wiping data why no you just connect your phone to charger when it reaches 5% that should be much more easier

No, not really. Because there is no problem with the device but more with your handling. Forcing a device to brute-force-shutdown will always result in an "unclean" condition.
And with JB you get an extra condition with boot loop.
So you should work on your problem and follow the advice - charge.

[Q] Battery and reboot issues

First of all this issue is in a friend's I9070..
Problem 1: When plugged in everything works ok.. When unplugged, battery icon in status bar keeps showing it's charging..
Problem 2: When powered off, phone reboots automatically
Both issues were there while in stock 4.1.2 rom, so I flashed JellyMOD v4.0 to discard software issues.. Issues are still there
What should I do?

Maybe problem with micro usb connector? Most probably it is some hardware problem, because you eliminated software. P.S. you did factory reset and wipes?

[Q] i8190n auto restart every ~30seconds

Hi guys i need advises for my phone's problem
I bought this s3mini(I8190n) last year and i have installed virginity rom 3 weeks ago and have no problem using it,last night i was listening some music and chatting with friends and suddenly phone restarted,i thought i accidentally pressed the power button so i waited it to boot again, after booted,it restarts again 30seconds later and the process didn't stop until i pull my battery out and put it in again.I have searched the net for solutions so i went in recovery mod to clear cache, dalvik cache and factory reset, but when i boot my phone again it is not resetted,i also tried removing sd card and sim card, flash the param and wipe with odin but no avail.Should I flash the stock rom?Does it requires usb debugging?thanks in advance
