i have tried many tutorial but didn't work for me I have a problem when trying to root my lg optimus black v20g . The SuperOneClick gets always stuck at step #7. I have done everything as instucted (enabled logging and usb debug, disabled fast boot, etc). also tried unlockroot

For to use Reboot into Recovery
U have to use ROM manager definitely if it is stock ROM...
If any other ROM...U can use eRecovery, U can find it in XDA easily.
If you have to install the zip, first u should have ROM manager to Reboot into Recovery and update the zip file
So, first download ROM manager in market, just basic version is enough to Reboot into Recovery
From after installing eRecovery...U can Restart the phone and press any hard key, it will Reboot into Recovery
Press THANKS button if you satisfied

Bro hard keys also works on touch cwm y you need non touch version ... and its there search on youtube root galaxy grand duos cruse4eva something like that ... u will get non touch cwm version ...

oh...man im try to port his(cm 10.xx) crt animation to my stock rom(self cooke'd) .... but services.jar and androidpolicy.jar dosent contain this samli files in which other rom users are porting to their handsets ..and when im editing those
files( PowerManagerService$ScreenBrightnessAnimator.smali) in stock rom..after recompiling with Quick-Smali ..and after i push'd it but that didnt work too...i will find a way..got to doo lot of exploring in android world....:fingers-crossed:

I know that I posted it but made ROM of miui from stock ROM of spice mi 504
and ported ROM of micromax a 76 miui ROM because it has same specification
and made ROM through android kitchen .....hahahaha....
It is a simple MT6572 mobile: wouldn't be a drama working on it.

No Problem,
Just follow my steps Okay?
Also i will upload the necessary files,
How to root:
1:Install framaroot apk.(If you cannot install go under Settings>security and check Unknown sources.)
2: Open the app after installation and just select any of exploit.(Note only one exploit installs successfully)
3:Reboot your phone
Install CWM recovery
1:Make sure you have installed drivers for MTP,and have USB debugging under developement option enabled.
2:Connect you phone to computer and Open The CTR v2.2.
3:Unzip it,and launch CTRv2.2.exe(Unzip to desktop)
4ress Ok and yes untill the last one.
5:Accept the Super user authintication after Pressing Auto port.
6:Thus Your Touch recovery is installed now...
Download CTRv2.2 here..

It is a ported rom by me #shaizada for spice mi 504
1. u have rooted device .,,, if not root through kingo root,iroot software.
2.you have cwm/twrp/philz recovery installed if u dont have any of these recovery ,,,then i gave u my developed recovery through mtk droid tool.... see attachments for recovery.
3.fisrt root your devise then instal mobile uncle tool from playstore then backup your imei and then copy recovery image and pure l.zip file in ur devise then open mobile uncle tool and click on recovery update and choose your recovery.img file.
4.Download patch.zip from from attachments and place in ur sd card
5.then go to ur recovery menu (switch off ur phone then press home+volume up button)
6. Delete wipe data factory reset/wipe cache/wipe davlik cache.
7.open mount and storage format system/data/cache.
8.then go to instal zip from sd card and instal rom then instal patch file.
ALL DONE NOW REBOOT UR PHONE AND ENJOY
keep enjoying its totally bug free

I have made both the recoveries download your preferred and enjoy! :victory:
For rooting XOLO Play 8x-1100 follow this guide : Rooting XOLO PLAY by bgos10 8x-1100
In order to flash these custom recoveries you must root the device first. In order to root please follow this guide over here and make sure to FLASH THE BOOT IMAGE PROVIDED IN THE THREAD YOU'RE GOING TO FOLLOW REGARDING HOW TO ROOT : Rooting XOLO 8x-1000.
Now assuming you have rooted and got device well running choose your preferred recovery and download.

TWRP Recovery UPDATAED V 1.1 MASSIVE CHANGE! - TWRP for 8x-1000
Carliv's Touch recovery for XOLO Play 8x-1100 - Carliv's Touch Recovery For XOLO Play 8x-1100
TWRP v2.8.0.1 for XOLO Play 8x-1100
HOW TO INSTALL RECOVERIES.
1) Via MOBILE
Now keep it on your SD card or phone memory and download Rashr or Mobile Uncle from play store. Then just allow root access to either of the app you download and flash the recovery and just reboot into recovery and enjoy
To manually reboot the device just keep VOLUME UP+ POWER KEY together until you see the recovery logo.
Note - I personally suggest Rashr not Mobile Uncle as I haven't used it and also read somewhere that it doesn't flash TWRP and often leads to bricking of device
2) Via PC
Download the scatter file I attached at the end of post and download latest version of SP flashtool V5.13 and then locate the recovery you downloaded and untick every option (if any) except recovery.img and click on download. Now switch off your phone and when it vibrates then hold VOLUME UP button and connect your phone to PC and wait. You'll get a confirmation soon after flashing and then just boot into recovery.
Bugs Known
When you try to reboot device from recovery it gives error that root access is possibly lost and asks you to fix. Please no root access is lost you can reboot easily, you can also fix if you want but it's just a bug.

An MIUI ROM (4.2.2) was posted previously for 8x-1100 but due to the ROM problems i.e. ROM wasn't booting up author took the links down so as for now it no development is going on for 8x-1100 as per 8x-1000 an MIUI KitKat 4.4.4 ROM is released and is being used by many users. (I ported the ROM).

Recovery issues
Dude i tried to update recovery via rashr but it didnt get updated to ctr.. Error shows some root issues.. Also titanium backup aint working.. Is it seruously some root issues or something else.. Rooted with the method posted on xda. Link is given by u. Also is there any developer working on this particular phone as i aint found any development on either recovery or rom.. If not plz ask some developers to do this. Waiting for new roms
