Does anyone here know if I get an aftermarket quick window style case if the clock/notifications can be viewed through the window like the LG OEM style? Don't wanna waste the $$ if they don't work and I'm basically just looking at part of my screen through the window.
Thanx gang.
The seller of the case should have that described.

Hello,
I've been looking for a new flip case after I got the Samsung one for free. I like it ok, but I don't like how it can't act as a stand. I've been looking for a flip case that can be a stand in both horizontal and vertical. Any help would be much appreciated!
This flip case has one way kickstand. Don't know of any dual mode.

Has anyone found replacement battery doors/backs for the Verizon G2 anywhere? Looking for either a stock/OEM one or different looking aftermarket ones. Surprised there aren't a ton of different looking and different material ones on eBay and Amazon. Nothing but ugly cases and ugly skins - and not even many of those.
Imagine a replacement back that is a soft touch type material like the Nexus 5, and with no ugly logos? Not much hope though since there don't seem to be any now...
I know that feel bro.

So nobody found a back door replacement made out of better material than the original one from LG G2?

I've ordered parts from this company before. They're based out of Hong Kong, so expect shipping to take at least a week.

I have seen that site before but the back door is still plastic as the one that LG g2 has. I would like to change my back door with something better if there is a chance finding something nice. Maybe if we will wait a little bit more. Something better will show up. Thanks anyway

Plasti-dip is always an option
Has anyone made a 3D Printed dock for the G2 yet? I realized I have access to a 3D Printer, and I was hoping that I might be able to make a dock for my phone, but I didn't want to use a generic model if someone has created a specific one.
I have the Spigen Slim Armor case also if that helps.
Thanks!
Try Sketchup Make, it's a free 3D design program. Very easy to use after watching a few videos on how to use it. I haven't used it for 3d printing but thats nothing Google won't find for you.

I can design a dock if you'll print it! I work for Siemens Solid Edge and have about 15 years of CAD experience.

Found these 3D case models on Thingiverse
Perhaps someone could modify these assuming the fit is correct

Did a search and couldn't come up with anything.
Has anyone here been going with out a case or skin on their Flex?
If so, how has the self healing back been holding up?
Just wondering before I try taking the chance.

If you look in the accessories section there's a whole bunch of threads about cases with reviews and links

I saw that...... But I'm wondering if anyone is NOT using cases nor skins. And how well the actual self healing back of the Flex is holding up.

Gotcha, your wording sounded like you can't find a case. I ran mine naked for a couple months, but that self healing back is a joke. There were small scratches all over the back and I take very good care of my phones and it goes in it's own pocket without anything else.
After I bricked it and bought a new one I decided to use a thin case and was very happy with it, until my phone got destroyed.
Thanks for the info...... I'm picking up a clear skin.

And a little theme for Halloween! Speaking of which. Is there a third party dot view like case that either snaps shut or has a flap that keeps it closed?
And I have just noticed that when you plug in your phone it shows the current battery % and a little animation.
Good work HTC.

I long for this... I've searched high and low on Aliexpress since the M8 release hoping some Chinese manufacturer creates one.

I am playing a third party radio app so when I activate the case, the media options appear. Any idea how I get past this to see the notifications?
There is no option to swipe left or right as this is the next / previous buttons and swiping down turns the radio off. Any ideas?

I have seen lots of knock offs on amazon but not sure about snapping shut. My OEM dot view broke so i have been looking to replace it and would rather not pay 50 bucks again.

So I got my knock off case and posted my findings regarding it's differences from the OEM case here .
Hope this helps.
