Hi all,
Ive 2 xperias. One of them came out of the box with a simcard insertion problem and got repaired - but it came back crashing after 5 minutes of usage (roundly). It seems to be totally random: it crashes on games, browser, idle etc. Id already tried to erase eveything and reinstall the system using pc companion (Android 4.0). It currently has all factory settings besides my google account and still crashes. Meanwhile, Im using the other xperia without any problem on the same OS etc.
Its actually my wifes mobile and we dont want her to stay another 30 days without it by sending it back to the official support. Do you have any idea for a way to fix it? I keep wandering whether it might be something wrong that the official support did to its hardware...
BIG THANKS, GUYS!
Best

Tks for the reply, x102x96x! Actually, it i a LT22i - I hadnt noticed this forum was specific for a xperia subtype, sorry.
By crashing I meant that it just freezes permanently.
My Xperia T disconnects from Wi-fi automatically. One minute it is connected and running fine but suddenly it disconnects and shows out of range. Strangely this happens only on stock or stock based rom. Wi-Fi runs fine when running CM10.1. So i guess its not hardware issue. I would use CM10.1 but its so unreliable. I missed several important calls due to sudden reboot in CM10.1 and in stock I cant use my Wi-Fi properly. It disconnects automatically. I have tried every wifi setting combination but none of them work. I am frustrated because of this. I have treid every firmware from from ICS to latest .145. But nothing is helping. Is there some kind of wifi power saver that i can disable or maybe i can update wifi driver in my xperia T. I am in desperate need of solution. Please help me. :crying:
Tough one... have you gone into Settings, then Power Management? There is "extended standby mode" option on my phone that seems like it would turn the wifi off while the phone is idling.
Also, is this on any wifi connection? Or mainly your home wifi? It would be worth having a look at the website of your router's manufacturer to see if there is a new firmware available for your wireless router.
I would like to suggest trying stock firmwares from other regions but I don't know how safe that is. Is your phone an LT30a? LT30p?
Right now I'm using LT30p_9.1_A.1.141_PL on my LT30a (Bell) and wifi is quite solid.

yes the extended stand by mode is unchecked. This happens on every wifi. I have been to my friend's home to check for it. It did same there. My phone is LT30p. thank you, I will try other firmwares as well.

My wifi is having this problem in combo - No wifi , no bluetooth and also fm is not working . In settings -about phone - status shows wifi mac adress and bluetooth adress unavailable .I tried everything restart , factory reset , software downgrade , upgrade . Do you guys know any other solution beside that. May be a harware problem occured . If it's a hardware problem pls guys help me ( coz my warranty is void , so I want to try myself to hardware repair ) . I've attached circuit diagram of xperia z in pdf format . Please explain where might be a problem if it is a hardware problem ? Where are the wifi chips, wifi antenna , possible hardware solution you might have. Please mark with marker in the circuit diagram.
Thanks to all developers and techs in xda :good:
