This going to sound silly, but I'm looking to find the old HyperDragon IV Mega ROM. I used to own an AT&T Tilt, and now I have acquired an HTC Tilt 2. I haven't liked any of the custom roms I've found for the Tilt 2, but I fondly remember HyperDragon IV mega for my old Tilt. I don't know how well it would work on the Tilt 2, but I'm interested in trying it or trying another ROM built from it. There are, to the best of my knowledge, no working links to it, and I have, so far as I know, LONG since lost the copies I had. It would be nice to find it or something based closely on it again. Also would be nice if I could change HTC Sense to another color. I don't like that it's stuck on blue when I like the old WM6.1 green theme.
So nobody answered my question, but I found out anyway thanks to Sakajati himself answering a message sent to him via his website.
The HyperDragon roms are here:

Hi All,
A new person on here and to HTC. I opted for the TYTN II and have found it fantastic (except for those bright days when I cant see the screen outside) However, I rather foolishly rushed into upgrading the OS to WM6.1 when O2 released it. Now my Home Plugin freezes the device and I need to Hard Reset it. Anyone found a way around this or am I the only one....
Using HTC TYTN II, CE OS 5.2.19212 (Build 19212.1.0.3)
Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional.
If all else fails does anyone know how to reset back to the original WM6 as I have read that even if I can go back, the "bugs" I now have will still be there.
Thanks in advance
I think there are several home plugin versions, which one are you using?
Why not upgrade to a Cooked ROM?
Check out this Wiki pages for the Kaiser, there are some ROM Flashing FAQ's and guides. And all other useful posts are in the "Getting Started" in my Sig.
In case you feel like asking "which one?", just try one and see what you think if you don't like it, try another until you find one you like, or you can just go back to the Stock O2 ROM if you really arn't happy, but I bet you will be.
As a freebie I'd say try Hang Tuah's ROMeOS 4.1

Do you often charge for this sort of information, and how much is the going rate?
Hi
Thanks for that, I thought I was using the HTC Home Plugin 2.1 not too sure if it was the N2A fix tho..
I have tried other "Home" but really like this one as its sleeky and goes so well with the TYTN II with good sized icons.
Do you have any ideas why this one wont work or if there are any others around with a good "TouchFlo" feel to them.
Thanks too about the ROM flash info - very exciting - would love to try it but as I only have the one Xda I dont want to destroy it just yet ( I do have a rather cavalier approach to tinkering and it tends to get expensive)
Thanks All.

OK, I just got my Kaiser (the AT&T Tilt flavor) yesterday. I have already flashed it from windows mobile 6.0 to the official AT&T 6.1 last night. It still leaves a lot to be desired. I previously had a Cingular 8525 of which i was quite fond of the Schapps 6.0 ROMS. So with that said what would be a good stable ROM similar to Schapps? I was so overwhelmed by the number of recently updated ROMS availble for the Kaiser. I also must have the HTC Home on there or if that can be loaded after the fact that is fine as well.
Thanks
TG
WEEELLLLLL I would say, what all did your version have on it etc, etc, blah blah blah.
Man you gotta dig through all that stuff. I use the last Duttys rom which I like and hasn't given me any problems worth noting (unlike a few others). Look through the roms, see what apps you like, see if the look is what you want and then go for it. Flashing to another is only about 10 minutes of your time. (8 of that is downloading the rom)..
Oh I haven't been into roms for awhile it seems. Looks like the elite senior member NotATreoFan has his own cooked rom. This looks amazing.

Might be worth trying.
This sounds interesting. I don't see any screen shots though.

I've had the best of luck with this one

This is a new one from garmin.. Looks cool too

so um, just look around.
Thank you for you suggestions. I have read that I need to load some ROM before I update with one of these cooked ones. Can you fill me in on that?
I'm really happy w/ ROMeOS v 4.6.0. I would give that one a try.
everything you need to know is in the wiki/sticky
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I ended up with NotATreoFan's ROM and a newer radio as well. Everything went of without a hitch cept for I had to find a machine running XP to do the flashing on.
garmin dk4!
Hi guys,i'm new to the forum and have just last week bought an HTC Tytn II,it was box stock and is in excellent condish,i've already flashed it once with the upgrade from V.6.0 to 6.1 via the HTC support site.
The question i'm wanting an answer to is,which is the easiest or best version of WinMo 6.5 to use to update my device, the UI looks so much better than it is currently,I like it as is but would love a more modern look,I tried a Vista theme that has been released but it wont run right, the only theme type software i've managed to get to work is S2U2 which works flawlessly.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated,i'm pretty new to ROM flashing but am familiar with WM smartphones after owning them since the SPV E200 but only just started to experiment with the OS.Once again, thanx in advance..
Mr Terminator aka Carl....
We can't tell you what is best (and asking is against forum rules), go have a look in the rom dev forum and see what tickles your fancy.
Thanks for the input fella,i'll go have a gander and see whats what.Cheers...
The PDA Corner latest version is probably one of the better options.
It really is a case of "sucking & see" so worth doing a fair bit of searching & reading.
So I was a die hard Windows Mobil fan with my HTC Hermes, then decided to try Android with a rogers Dream. I came to the conclusion after a few months I hated Android I found my self routinely pulling my Sim card from my new Dream and putting it back into my Hermes. Finally I decided enough was enough and I called my Carrier to jump ship back to Windows Mobil, the best option they had was the Xperia, so here I am.
Being gone for nearly a 9 months I can already see a lot has changed, I have not even gotten the phone yet, should be here by Friday, (Feb 19th)
I am going to start digging through the FAQ's and searching threads, to see if I can find the info I need, but wanted to drop a Hello on here first.
1st up Unlocking to flash Roms, then start finding out who has the best Roms and if 6.5 is a good option or not.
There was an odd note on the phone listing on Rogers site, they said it could optionally be ordered with Android 2.0 anyone else heard of that?
P.S. I can offer free mirroring/hosting for established developers and there associated Roms. I have a private high speed sever.
I'd say if you find a good rom 6.5 and even 6.5.x roms are stable. NRG, Agent_47 are good places to start if you want HTC sense....if you want clean winmo christan, willyyung, jack, itje are good...I havn't used many others but there are alot out there!
stick with 6.1 if you want the best bat life possible + stability but I couldnt stand going back to it after being on 6.5.x for so long...
Hi there
I posted this in another thread, but got no reply? So I have started another thread hoping for better response.
I do not normally get any answers or replies on this forum for some reason, hopefully i will be more lucky with this post.
I have just bought a used Touch Diamond, and was looking at downloading and upgrading the system with the official ROM upgrade from HTC, (Diamond_HTC_WWE_1.93.405.1)
It doesn't give you that much info on the HTC site, and I was wondering if
1 - it will be WM 6.5?
2 - It say 'Orange' ROM, would this revert the phone back to Orange only sim settings, or would I still be able to use my O2 sim card? The phone is 'Orange' branded but unlocked.
Thank you and here's hoping for help.

I don't think 1.93.405.1 is the current official ROM from HTC. There has to be a newer one like 2.03. xxxxxxxx
Anyway the newest ROM for Diamond is still WM6.1. There is no official WM6.5 ROM.
If your diamond is simlock-free then you can use the orange-ROM with other providers. I had the official ROM from O2 and used it with a T-Mobile-SIM-card without problems.
The only thing is that the provider-settings are false. But there are tools to configure this.
Or you use the official HTC-ROM without branding:
www.htc.com => support
There are also good custom-made ROMs.
Good luck.
Thank you for your reply.
I have tried a couple of ROMs since I got the phone, but there always little niggles with many of them. At the moment I am using a 'BsB Ultimate 6.6' ROM which is quite good, but I would like one with the animated weather reports (the windscreen wiper) and the book like image viewer that you can flick through.
Any idea which I am looking for by that description please?
Thank you
Steve
P.S. Oh and maybe I should mention that i am the O2 network so if there is an O2 ROM available, that would be a bonus.

I had this ROM on my diamond and I was pretty happy with it. I don't know wich language you prefer.

It's with Sense 2.1 wich runs really good. A network-wizard to setup your provider settings is integrated.
