I ran the interop and the device connects correctly to WP Power Tools.. impossible without interop
I don't know what else to think
CAPs look good.
You have also integrated registry keys of Interop-Unlock in the REG file?

In checking the target registry keys of the Interop-Unlock from your phone, for example.
ah ok.. How do you seem the .reg file I wrote? There is some error in your opinion?
in fact the interop does not work!!
Reading and rereading maybe I realized the problem.. I was wrong to write the order of subkeys.. I have written like this:
Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\DeviceReg\Install]
"MaxUnsignedApp" = dword: 00002713
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\SecurityManager]
"DeveloperUnlockState" = dword: 00000001
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\SecurityManager\DeveloperUnlock]
"DeveloperUnlockState" = dword: 00000001
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\DeviceReg]
"PortalUrlProd" = "http://127.0.0.1"
"PortalUrlInt" = "http://127.0.0.1"
could this be the problem??
Did you do a hard reset of your phone after flashing the CSC?

Yes, after the flash I made HR.. on reboot I get turned on all registry keys that I wrote as the DataActivity, the maps in sd and many other things.. except the interop..

the xml file is already encoded in UCS-2 little Endian
Guys I'm back.. even more desperate than before.. :crying: I tried everything: to edit the file.Enable any kind of XML capabilities, to rearrange the keys in the file.REG.. but nothing still the same error.. at this point a possible error, in my opinion, can only be in the file.REG maybe some conflicting keys or something.
I managed to install WebAccess (version that doesn't require interop) in the path of the capabilities I could see this. but the values should not be all so: CAPABILITY_CLASS_THIRD_PARTY_APPLICATIONS??
as I said before I tried to edit the xml file by enabling all capabilities but at HKLM\Software\Microsoft\SecurityManager\CapabilityClasses I've noticed no change
Thank you very much

Thank you for having responded to ... fatality in these hours I tried to Flash another csc with this.XML that contains those strings. but nothing's ... in the register does not replace anything. Maybe I do HR before flashing or a new CSC to eliminate traces of the old XML files?
Thanks for your patience
1 file < 50 kb !!!
I tried to reduce the entire file.MBN to 45 kb. in fact now in the registry are written all capabilities with the right values that I wrote in.XML and I can install any application more than before.. but when I try to install Wph Tweaks or Sam Tool gives me still that goddamn error.. in my opinion, should enable all capabilities as does this app: "EnableAllSideloading_Release_ARM.". because when I start the app gives me an access denied error and I cannot exceed the size of the XML. How can I unlock all capabilities?
Before installing "EnableAllSideloading_Release_ARM." you must install "BootstrapSamsung_Release_ARM".

uff
maybe by mod the stock camera source... mmm
I'm pretty sure that actually most of high end devices are able to record @ 120fps (a 480p) but without app camera there is no way to try it
Yet another mod for the S4 Active . Its always seems like volumes are set just loud enough to hear.Well good thing I like it loud and clear, sometimes really loud.So let's enjoy music and video's the way we want to.(LOUD) Two levels to choose from. Boost it up or go for maximum safe loudness level it's up to you. Now with Lollipop support.
About:
Increased volume levels about 25% or 40+% system wide.
Noticeable increases in volume system wide
No lose of clarity
No speaker distortions
No over the top dangerous levels
No external speaker crackle
Just flash in recovery that's it.Enjoy! Please give thanks if you like my work.
Download's below
How to raise/lower volume level's(Warning over adjustment will destroy your speakers)
Sound volume can be raised or lowered by editing two files. I have only given you a snippet of what need's to be changed.Take both of the files and see what values I changed, then take your sound files and change the values accordingly. They will be very similar.DO NOT CHANGE ANY VALUE MORE THAN +10 (EXAMPLE.2.67.7 ORIGINAL VALUE/ 2.75.7 IS CHANGED VALUE TO START. THIS MIGHT EVEN BE TO HIGH FOR SOME DEVICES.
There is a lot to change if you want it correct. Be patient and dont rush through this, you might regret it.
snd_soc_msm_2x_Fusion3_auxpcm / location/ etc/snd_soc_msm
Example 1: Here I have changed the value's identified by arrows. These value's have already been changed to increase volume.Compare to stock for all changes made. All of the changes are in the same general area in both files.

Nice mod,can you point me in a direction to learn how to do this mod so I can do it for my galaxy note 2014 edition. Thanks
Yeah ill add a how to tomorrow.

Instructions although very basic are on OP.

Will this work on 4.3 as well?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I see that it will most likely not work. Do you think it would be nearly the same if I was to enter these files and make adjustments?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
The areas you need to adjust are the same, in the same files. In almost every device, those 2 files are where you do this at.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using Tapatalk
I did this mod by editing the 2 files mentioned using ES File Explorer. That way I was able to save the original files somewhere else before I changed them. I just felt better doing that since I don't know how to flash in recovery (I rooted using TowelRoot).
The mod sounds AWESOME!!! .. a must do for Galaxy S4 Active owners.
Big thanks to blaz1nr.

can we use this with stock 4.4.2 ?
Yup
Updated Op with all new zips. Two levels to choose from now.
Just downloaded & flashed..... working great on my i537 running Hyperdrive Rom. Thanks for this mod. I run an atv repair shop & it's pretty loud in the shop. This helps tremendously.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

I'm now rooted on 4.4.2 . I'm used to working with HTC (hence the nane). I flashed many zip files successfully. For some reason I must be doing something wrong with my S4 active. Do you need safe strap to flash a zip file?
I go to recovery choose zip and each time I get a failure. The last time completely reset my phone to stock
I'd really like to enhance the sound.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Yes you need safestrap.
Is this hack for "headset/BT" volume increase? The reason I ask is, everything else is REAL loud (ringtones, notifications, etc). However, my headset/BT levels don't sound any louder and I [still] get that annoying message from Samsung that raising volume is dangerous, blah, blah, blah. Did I install incorrectly?
I'm on 4.4.2 Geohat rooted I537.
I didn't adjust bt volume. I will adjust it for you and up the volume.
How do I originally go back or set to stock again? The reason I asked is the flash works great but my battery life seemed to plummet after I made this change. Do I simply go into safestrap and load the "stock" zip you have listed?
Back in the past I tried to increase the limit of the note 3s video recording size, I was able to increase the length of video but the file size limit seemed to always stop at 3.8GB (or in any case 4GB "4,294,967,296" FFFFFFFF). Now I would like to get this started back up fresh and new. I am asking for the help of developers to help me find what is causing the video recording to stop at 3.8GB if the note 4 has this same problem which I imagine it will.
If interested in helping please comment here or message me. I am seriously dedicating 99% of my free time to figure this out due to wanting to record longer than 13 minutes (most I could get out of 4k on the note 3).
Also hoping to increase quality of pictures and of all video modes. I know how to decomplie but not sure how to recompile or read everything in the file. So I am asking for others help on this project. I was pretty upset to fail on the note 3 but the note 4 looks to be another potential project.
Ill be out for the next few days for a interview but here are the smali files to look through. Maxfilesize or MaxRecording size were used in the note3 but i cant seem to find it in here so they might be using something different. Anyone know hex?

Some good finds there mate in the apk, this is my first Samsung device, doesn't also use media_profiles, feature_default and libcamera* to house settings? Those would be different with exynos and qcomm i guess.

Hi All
I remember I used to do this on CM10 editing a file in system/etc
I can't find it now that I'm on CM11
I just want to increase the incall volume as on CM11 it seems to be lower than the Htc rom.
Any hints?
Thanks
Cheers
Anyone?
Thanks
EDIT
I tried editing this file below but my phone got stuck in a boot loop.. had to restore a nand backup
Open "etc" folder.
Open "snd_soc_msm" folder.
Open file "snd_soc_msm_2x" file with editor.
and change the numbers in bold below

This app definitely improved the in-call volume on my device.
Is there a thread here on XDA other than the one I found?
or has the development been discontinued?

Nice job Google! :good:
You would think with the kind of camera they installed. Also no 5G or Wifi 6!

I equate people with 5G phones to those with bezeless devices. Looks good on paper, but serves no practical purpose at this time
For me I'm not a record fans 4K. But my friend asks me whether it is possible Google will push an update to add 4K fps in the future?
Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
Unless you have wifi 6 in your house and full 5G in your city the question is pointless.
60fps video is a definite miss, audio quality in the P4 is also questionable. In fairness, I'm not a big video maker, luckily. So I can live with that, but it would be awesome if a software update enabled improvements.

5G seems pretty useless unless you're outside in a well covered area. So far testing for it is showing it to be ineffective through walls. The setup will have to be an exterior antenna coupled with a device to tie it into your home network. For Wifi 6 it isn't wide spread in the commercial arena so finding it in the wild is extremely rare and won't be dramatically more wide spread in 3 years. Most public wifi is still stuck at "N". If you use your device for heavy file transfer, which I do, wifi 6 is useful, no doubt.
But the most viable solution remains physically connecting the device and then transferring the file if you need raw speed for work flow efficiency. Unless I'm mistaken USB-C tranfser rates are still 3x faster (at 10 Gigabits) than wifi 6 (at 3 Gigabits). If you're on wifi 6 hopefully your wired network is at 10 Gb speeds. What I recommend to clients, and what I use, is to have a network drive always connected to your device by using a personal VPN to your home/office network. That way, when you do get a large file you can then send it "home" and it will be ready to use when you get back to your primary hard wired network. You can initiate the upload and go on with life, and eventually it will complete the upload to your network without a break in your remote work flow.
Out of curiosity what do you anticipate using wifi 6 and 5G for that makes it a necessity? Just wondering to widen my thoughts.
Well hell, is it possible to create a mod for 60 fps? I mean, it is XDA.
We probably can reverse the change made back to 60fps. I saw this on an article linked, but don't have the original article.
