[Q] Camera isn't working

I deleted some SmartShare (or something) apks for my camera, and it seems it doesn't work anymore.
Anyone knows a link to where to get the vpks again? Or another solution?

Please help, I updated my Sony xperoa 4.2.2 to 4.3 and since then, the video camera has not been functioning well. The camera works fine but each time I want to make a video, it tells me unknown error.

By what did you upgraded your firmware from 4.2.2 to 4.3? Sony PC Companion, OTA, or you flash FTF file with flashtool?

My Xperia SP is SO SLOW!!

Hi there!
I recently bought an Xperia SP and had it unlocked fully so now i can use any SIM.
But it seems that there is a problem: my phone is slow. I only have a handful of apps installed, nothing is programmed or working in the background or Sync is turned off.
I checked the OS and it is still stuck to Android 4.1.2 but the official Sony Mobile website says the latest is 4.3.
Is there an app to help speed up my phone?
Why is my phone not detecting the 4.3 update?
Please advice. Thanks.

Search google for Sony XPERIA SP C5303 - Android 4.3 - firmware 12.1.A.0.266. The site is called xperia firmware (i would post the link but im not allowed. Once the phone is updated you may need to restart the phone like i did to get up to speed (mine was incredibly slow after first boot)

This phone is very fast with ICS, with JB is very slow!

The Xperia SP originally came with android 4.1.2, not Android 4.0.x

Oh yess i'm confused :fingers-crossed: however before the upgrade it is another thing

Maybe just reflash the firmware and see if it gets better (4.1.2, as 4.3 has a big chance of bad RAM management)

It seems like there is also bad information dessimination by Sony Mobile by the looks of it.

Regardless of "conflicting" information from either "reliable" sources or Sony Mobile the update is very slow in appearing.

I brought SP yesterday that come with 4.1.2, today i update it to 4.3. Simply Awesome!
By the way, I am from Bangladesh!

Hi go to the settings >about phone>touch on built no until it shows you are developer> go back>developer option> Scroll down and change Window Animation Scale, Transition Animation Scale and Animator Duration to 0.5x> Done.
It has worked wonderful for me.

Xperia SP was released with Android OS Version 4.1.2 i.e Jellybean. It never had ICS

Camera Help

Hi all friend... my xperia sp camera not working very well image quality as like china mobile on i checked HDR and all other option and many camera softwares but same problem in 4.3.... when i downgrade 4.2 so camera working very great can someone tell me why camera working great in 4.2 when i update 4.3 so camera not working well ... please need this help ....

The camera of the Xperia SP is not that good Some options you can consider:
- Try manual mode
Some settings you could try:
~ ISO; I dont have it on auto... I always play with it
~ SCN; Some do work a bit better than others. Play with it
~ Don't use superior mode
- Use another Camera app
Other than that we can not do much.

Request ROM port from Z to ZR

Hey guys can someone please port this ROM ?

This Rom has Many features and one of them why i like to see this Rom on my phone is the 1080/720p Video Recording at 60fps.
If Someone can Port this Rom i be very thankfull and the other ZR users too. if the 60fps feature is working xD but it should do. The S4 Pro CPU can Record on 60fps and the Camera Sensor can it too. But Sonys Software cant it, maybe this rom solve it and give our old Phone a second pofurfull life.

Then found only camera bug or other?
I think you try to use camera app from stock may be it fix the camera issues and all friends use your ported Rom...

Yeah bro every thing is ported and there isn't any bugs expect camera
i tried to replace the camera UI with stock and it doesn't work also

Anyone developer please help # MoustafaBahaa to port camera in his ported rom so other friends use his rom in Xperia zr.....

May be you can try replace some lib cam file with stock lib cam file,
