Miui 6 AT&T MMS Issues - Mi 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Anyone running MiUi 6 MI3w on AT&T Wireless with MMS working?
Ran into this a couple of releases back and figured out how to get it working (MiUi 5) but with MiUi 6 my fix is not working.

Did you try adding your apns?

Ok, figured it made sense to start a new thread, so I'm able to update thread title and other stuff in OP.
This is where to discuss nightly builds of CyanogenMod 7.

If you have any issues with GPS, 3G or any other network issues, try flashing the following radio firmware. NB, it's not possible to flash this zip from ClockworkMod 3, so if you have this version installed, use ROM Manager to flash it instead.
Radio_13.55.55.24H_3.35.20.10.zip
Issues with Google Maps (blurry fonts, slow scrolling)? Look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=15218646&postcount=4
Here's the kernels used in the rom, in case someone needs to flash them manually. The 2.6.35 one is the standard included in the rom now, and the 2.6.32 is the one previously used. I'm attaching it here though, in case someone like to use it. They can be flashed in recovery.

Yeah, it s a good idea. You can also atach kernels and wifi fix to avoid countless questions - Where is this?
Finally a new nightly thread are we being bumped to RC4 when there are a few fixes that have been submitted haven't been merged :/ oh well at least were advancing. only problems i have had in the latest nightlies is a few extra force closes with adw but thats no biggie i always end up back to Launcher pro
Good plan how goes the kernal dev?
RC4 just rolled out!

Updated OP with latest flashable zip containing kernel and wifi firmware. It didn't make it into RC4 unfortunately, so I recommend anyone that intend to use phone for wifi hotspot to flash it.
can't get the 3g to work...i'm stuck on edge or somthin'...is it the rom ? i instaled the kernel_wifi...and it's the same...Should i do a full wipe before i reflash RC4?
Thanks
just flash RC3...now RC4 already ?!
thats fast...

Attached is an updated flashable zip, containing kernel and wifi firmware, which should fix most problems people have had with signal loss, 3G reboots and wifi related issues. This can be flashed on top of any nightlies after #20, and also on RC4. When it has been included in newer build as standard, it will be obsoleted.

I can confirm no issues on rc4 with this kernel great work - i didnt tried usb storage cuz i have my usb cable at home.
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA App
Just flashed RC4 + kernel_wifi.zip
No connection lost, working wifi, working wifi tether but still get reboot wenn enabled 3g + data
Any hints?
Coming from pre #20 nightly
Please advice: Is rotary screen overlay contact screen has been fixed in RC4?
flashed RC4 without kernel_wifi.zip and everything seems to work fine.
3g -> working
wifi -> working
GPS -> working
No LP fc after reboot as in RC3.
Will play around for a while and report later if any issues noticed.
Edit: usb-tethering -> working wifi-hotspot -> working
RC4 seems feckin perfect!

Damned RC4, that was fast
Just flashed #32 yesterday.
Anyway, i'll know what to do today
I wonder if it is possible to integrate the HTC Calendar app in the ROM.
It's the only HTC app I really like and far the best calendar app - at least for me.

Dn't think so. This is sense app and sense apps will never be in CM
Thanks CM for RC 4, so far seems to be great again. Flashed the kernel zip on top just to be sure. So far no issues, though I'll keep an eye on the camera sound issue which I had before.

I really like "Android Agenda Widget"
It includes 15 sorts of widget and is free without ads (there's a payed version to)

Installed RC4 on 2 wildfire's.
Working great without problems so far, 1 needed the kernel wifi fix.
Can't wait for the next nightly build!
Great job you are doing arco68 , Thanks for the nightly's and new kernel.

[Q] HTC One T-Mobile version - Wifi Calling on 4.2.2 roms?

I was on TrickDroid before and enjoyed the WiFi calling feature. I flashed to 4.2.2 and did not see a wifi calling option in the Android Revolution or TrickDroid roms. Is there just not a ROM that supports this yet? Or is it because it was the international version that leaked?
Thanks.

I saw it in TrickDroid under Settings > Call. I'm AT&T, so all the options were grayed out for me.

Ah, damn I reverted back to the previous ROM. I'll have to check this out when I upgrade again sometime. Thanks.
If you search the ARHD thread, it doesn't appear to be supported right now with the international version.

Data gone on CM12 Verizon

So I've been on CM12 for a few weeks then one day the data disappeared. I can't get it to work and I've read this is a known issue and there is a fix. Anyone know how to do this?

I was really hoping there would be an answer in this thread. Chroma dev doesn't really seem to care, so I am debating about just going back to stock rooted where it actually works. It is pretty annoying not having VoLTE working. With xposed getting more stable for 5.1 that will probably give me most of the options I need anyhow.
Well my goal was to find a ROM with it working andfigure out the solution and then pass it in to zephik but clearly that's not gonna work ha
Ok ALL 5.1 Roms it works. However there is a catch. On "stock" based 5.1 it works right after flash. On CM based roms or cherry picked roms you have to flash a stock based rom first. go through setup...... Make sure the VoLte is working. Flash your preferred , reboot make sure it is working, go to recovery , "wipe" , reboot and setup. Something with connecting to the network. But anyhow. There is issues at times with Cm based roms and VoLte . but not to many. I cannot vouch for stock based as i do not run them full time.

As stated above, this only works (at least on Chroma) if you never reboot. Once you reboot the device, you have to toggle it in settings to work again.

I run Euphoria and Liquid smooth and never have had to toggle it. But we all know different roms different issues.
I was under the impression that only the stock based roms have volte working. That it didn't work on cm 12.1 based roms & only chroma kinda had it working as described earlier. I'm dying to start flashing, but I'm not giving up volte for a few features. Am I wrong?
I think you're wrong. voice over LTE is working on most 12. 1 based roms.

Bluetooth pairing problem Honda HFT MIUI 12

Hi guys, i have a problem with the bluetooth connection between my 2013 Honda Civic and my MI 9T pro running miroom 20.6.18.(comming from aosp)
The pairing process is ok between the car and the phone is ok but the connection dosent stay in time, it is connecting deconnecting, connecting deconnecting ...
I try some other miui 12 based rom, same issue.
Any ideas ?
Did you tried reseting the BT?
I had an issue that forced me to manually connect my device to the car but resetting it did the trick.
I do this each time i change ROM, it works everytime with aosp....
Thx for the reply.

Yoooooooo i literally have this!! I have a 2016 civic with the old radio.
It connects and disconnects!!!
I was on mortalos, its based off of cn beta.
It works on STABLE miui 12cn (i flashed with fastboot), so im on xiaomi.ei 12.0.2.0. Or works on most aosp roms (i tried derp, havok and corvus).
Mortal dev knows and will try to add stable bt libs.
OK thanks, will try this week end

Woahh me too lol
I flashed latest 12.0.3.0 EU and now its connecting/disconnecting again. Same thing in latest beta 20.7.23.
So now have to stick to aosp roma or use older stable, or get new sound system.
I'm running global 12.0.2. and so far the workaround for me was to disable phone capability for Honda HFT and only allow music playback (accessing contacts can be left enabled, it doesn't matter). It still takes longer to connect than on MIUI 11 and I obviously can't answer calls on my car's audio but at least music and maps work. Hopefully an update fixes this...

Sorry but what is Mortal? a rom? can't find it...thanks.
I'm on Xiaomi EU stable rom for now, due to find device closed bootloop bug on official stock roms.
Is there any new workaround for this problem? Apparently, Xiaomi will never fix this.
I tried MiuiMiX, but it has the same issue. I tried ASOP ROMs, but then I lose the camera and a bunch of other stuff.
