Hi
just fyi in case someone runs into this:
I have WIND Moto X (XT 1097) which was unlocked (I am on Bell Mobility Canada) - with the original 4.4.4 firmware:
system: 21.31.52.victara_retca.retca.en.CA
baseband: MSM8974BP_2147.127.04.57R,VICTARA_RETCA_CUST
I manually flashed the retail 5.01 image (I thought the Wind soak test issues came only from OTA)
RETCA_XT1097_5.0.1_LXE22.46-22_cid14_CFC.xml.zip
After I flashed it 5.01 booted fine, but I lost cellular radio. With no way to DOWNGRADE, I thought I was hosed, but after reflashing the 2 original modem files:
fsg.mbn
NON-HLOS.bin
I was back up in 5.01 Lollipop with the radios working again - so I picked up my Bell signal.
I am just wondering now, is there a way to downgrade from 5.01 to 4.4.4 and have the radios working ? Ideally I'd like to reflash this stock image:
RETCA_XT1097_4.4.4_KXE21.187-52_cid14_CFC.xml.zip
Thank you

JUst do exactly the same process BUT dont flash fsg.mbn and NON-HLOS.bin. and your phone will restart on 4.4.4 with radio signal
The 5.0.1 image you flashed was the Telus image, not the Wind Mobile image, which is why you lost your radio. You can flash the original Wind mobile 4.4.4 firmware and you will be back to 4.4.4. You will need to flash the files manually(mfastboot) instead of using RSDlite as one of them will fail as it doesn't allow downgrades, this isn't an issue though.
No this won't work because it gives downgrade errors.

Hi, not flashing using rsdlite - using mfastboot.
Would you have a link to the original Wind firmware or the full name of the retail Wind firmware image ?
Also - seeing my phone is supposedly unlocked (works now on bell) why would flashing the telus radio vs wind break ?
Thank you!

Hi
The 4.4 and 5.01 image didn't have any reference to Telus or wind they both said RETCA. However If you have the name of the Wind retail 4.4 image I'd appreciate it.
Does above know where I can get the stock 4.4.2 zip file? I had to downgrade and i can't update to 4.4.2 since I don't have a valid AT&T sim any longer
Hello
I live in Brazil and I have an AT&T xt1058 and received this device the update OTA. After downloading the update and attempt to install the system restarts without completing the process. I contacted AT&T and Motorola and reported that to realize update need to be in the AT&T network. Is there anything I can do to complete the update?
Device
Moto x xt1058
Android version: 4.4.4
System version: 212.44.26.ghost_att.ATT.en.US

I searched but could not find a solution that works for this particular issue. I have Verizon G2 flashed to the T-Mobile 30b Lollipop ROM (for Verizon G2). My phone currently shows a model number D801 (and not the original Verizon model). I am trying to revert to factory Verizon ROM and the LG flash tools gives a wrong model error when I try to flash the Verizon ROM. (I have tried two different DLLs with LG flash tools as suggested in the LG flash tools thread but neither worked. I am assuming that this is DLL issue. If anyone has successfully reverted from T-Mobile 30b Lollipop ROM to Verizon stock, could you please outline the method. Thanks.
