I can't seem to be able to go back to Null after installing Tizen. I tried going back to 4.2.2 rom but it dies during download mode. I can't seem to revive it with any other rom unless I use the Tizen one.
Try thIs. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2776157

I read that thread entirely. Some users reported they had to complete the entire process 3 or more times. It eventually took. Try factory resetting a few times. The problem seems to be that not all of the Tizen software is removed, leaving the touchscreen inoperable.

Went through the Tizen to Android tutorial from the link above
Installed latest 4.2.2 firmware for my gear via Odin
Installed null_03_TWRP2 via Odin
Moved null_23.zip to the phone via fastboot

So I was messing with the system permissions in Es file exolorer, when I accidently set everyrhing to 666. As soon as I hit back I knew I was done for. I started getting foce closes on everything. I reset the phone hoping I could factory reset and be ok; but it keeps looping back to recovery when I turn it on. Im not home/in front a computer right now....but it seems my only hope is odin with the root files. I havent been able to find a stock rom for this phone. Att sucks for locking the bootloader. I will be donating to the bounty when I get in the house.
Anyone have any suggestions or know where a stock rom is oosted?

go to root de la vega site, and download the root. there is an odin image there to restore you to stock. you are ok.
thanks
Thanks a lot. Finally home will try right now
NO GO
Ok so the root de la vega seems to have been taken down since there is a new method. And I cant find the firmware for our phones,
What will happen if I try to load a tmobile firmware to the phone?
At this point I think I have a brick and might try it.

Thanks for the help guys. Im up and running again.
First? No.
I bricked my phone well over 10 times already since the day got it. (Damn you framework-res.apk and androidpolicy.jar )
It's all part of the fun! Glad to hear you're back up and running.

Bricked
Well, I've done it too, but mine brick is probably worse. I updated with OTA update, then attempted to root so I tried flashing the Odin inside the Vega package, just to find out the OTA patched the "holes", now I'm stuck at the "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again"
So I tried the One Click from the Vega package, but it doesn't do it, it fails with write protect error.
Kies don't have emergency recovery either, and won't even recognize the device.
I'm thinking I have to wait for the actual updated one click comes out to fix it.
Please be warned, DON'T try it

There are quite a few of us in that situation. There are a number of people working on it. Hopefully something will come up soon. I wish AT&T would actually release official firmware for our phone through Kies. Would make the recovery process so much faster than having to wait for people to rip MJ5 and re-package it.
i get a black screen....Help
i went ahead and rooted with kingo and deleted some stuff in the system/app folder and now after reboot i get com.google.process.gapps, dropbox, setup wizard and chaton [ unfortunately process has stop ] and it goes into a reboot loop, i can stop the reboot loop when i reroot with kingo but then all i get is a black screen with no apps, launcher, no access to any applications other than the systems settings. Pls help...
fuuhhhh!!!
Me too - figured I'd wait a week before rooting, didn't even bothering to check xda, my bible on such matters, and her I am thinking I know better.
... neeeds me phooooooneeee!!!!!!!!
I rooted through towelroot. Then I installed safestrap and alliance rom. This all occurred around 6:00 am this morning. Everything installed and was working. I woke up around 9:30 and started cleaning up my instal i.e. settings in Nova, hiding unnecessary apps the like and then i realized that my phone would not connect to wifi. I tried all of the pedestrian stuff like remove battery, toggle wifi on and off and toggle the airplane mode on and off. Still no wifi. Then I went back into Safestrap and the goal was to reflash the rom. But I think that i wiped the wrong partition or something because i have been stuck at the note 3 splash screen with the custom lock symbol. I went to Best Buy to see if they could flash the factory image, Nope. Then i came how and tried kies, it would not recognize my phone. I am trying to flash back to factory preferably without root. I youtubed and found an old video with an old file at Sammobile. and i am currently downloading it and odin 3. Am I on the right track or am i screwed? I have not rooted a phone since my Droid Razr Maxx. Please Help This is the only thing that i have to communicate with my family. And yes, I am an idiot

Thank You Jefferey coffman 45. I PM'ed Walter White 2 hours ago and he turned me on. This was the longest i ever went without a solution. I was a little puckered.
Hi Sir. I have the EXACTLY the same problem you had. First, my wifi stopped working so I wiped cache. After Wiping the phone is stucking at splash screen with the custom symbol. Have you figured out a way to fix your phone? If you do, would you mind share the process with me please? Thanks a million in advance.

Guys, just flash MLG on with Odin. Install the NC2 Kernel w/ Odin and root w/ Toweroot and Safestrap. Then you can reflash a new rom.
Edit: Here is a good guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2703006
Note: Must have NC2 bootloader which im sure you do since you used towelroot.
Hi all
I've been trying for weeks for a solution so finally making a post of my own.
I have a GG1 that I've been trying to get working on my HTC One M8 and it's all gone a bit wrong.
I had tried to Flash TWRP and then Null ROM but couldn't get it to work. I then tried to downgrade from Tizen using the Pit file and 2 .tar files that are on this forum but now it's just not doing anything like what it should.
No matter what I do (Re-partitioning, flashing stock/TWRP, flashing MK7) all I get is the Samsung Logo splash screen on boot - 'no matter what'. Any way you guys can suggest to completely start again with this? Perhaps a new Pit file that isn't the downgrade?
I can open Download mode and recovery (when TWPR is flashed) no problem. But if I try to flash anything in TWRP, all I get is something like 'E:Unable to mount /data/' - same if I try to sideload - though pushing files via adb seems to work.
Oh, it's the UK GG1 V700.
Thanks in andvance

Sounds confusing. Not knowing exactly what you tried or what you have flashed, start over. If you can get to download mode try putting on a stock image and see what that gets you. Its not bricked if it boots and you can get to download and recovery. Sounds more like a cable issue, bad download or something. Here's my copy folder that has ne9 and nf1, do ne9 first as nf1 is not a full ROM.

Thanks mate, that worked. I now have the watch back to asking me to pair with a phone.
One last thing, can you point me in the right direction to getting this rooted and ROMed without having to connect to a Samsung first? I'm on HTC One M8 so can't go down the cydia impactor route.

People have different degrees of success with your set up. Here is a post you can read and decide for yourself. Other option is go back to android on your watch, specifically null, try that. If it fails you can delete...forgot the exact name sec.setup.Samsung or something like that from the null zip then flash it, basically turns your watch into full blown android but missing most the watch features leaving you with finding third party apps to do what you want.
I got fed up trying to get my watch working with my note 3 on aosp lollipop and ended up flashing a Samsung ROM. On kit kat everything worked well enough for me, lollipop, not so much.
if you used the ROMs I linked they are rooted already. Just Google galaxy gear on non Samsung phone, you'll find plenty of info.
Okay so to start I followed this Tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/att-galaxy-s5/general/how-to-root-g900aucu2aoa1-4-4-4-2-3-2015-t3021120 all the way through and my phone was rooted and I was happy. One day I tried to install TWRP since this is what I used on my Galaxy s3 before this phone. It got stuck on on a boot loop. I eventually tried flashing every stock ROM which did not fix the problem because ODIN would fail when trying to flash. Eventually I tried flashing the "G900A_ND3_Stock_Kernel" supplied in the tutorial. My phone magically booted up and all my APPS and stuff was the same as I left it and it was still rooted. I decided not to mess with it anymore. This happened about a month ago.
Today, my phone had a notification saying that there was an update and I tapped remind me later. Eventually, I installed Titanium Back up to force closed the AT&T Software Update app the phone came with. Then. it automatically updated and eventually got stuck into the boot loop again. No problem, I fixed this before. What I noticed from the first time was that I had a screen that said "Secure Fail: Recovery. System software not authorized by AT&T has been found on your phone. Please turn off your phone and go to the nearest AT&T store for help" Once I flashed the stock kernel from the tutorial I never checked to see if the recover menu was there.
So right now I have my phone working and its rooted. I installed the "Phone Info" app and it says Bootloader Version:G900AUCU2ANG3. Eventually, my phone will try to update itself again and it will fail causing it to boot loop. I am not sure on what to do. Is there a way for me to have my recovery menu back? I just want to have the option in the future to revert everything back to normal in case I sell it or feel like having the newest OS. Also it would be cool to have a recovery menu on my phone again.
I know this was long but I needed to solve this problem before it gets out of hand in the future. Also I am pretty sure others have followed the tutorial and might have had the idea to update the OS or something else and had a problem similar to mine.
Thank You Very Much.

So you're still rooted?
And if so using titanium backup just freeze the ATT update app I forget what it's called exactly but you'll know it when you see it and that'll stop your device from trying to automatically trying to update

No my bad
Here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2862299
So I tried to update TWRP and it said unsuccessful because I probably had the latest version. (Using TWRP manager) Then a box popped up asking if I wanted to boot into recovery, I hit ok because I had to install something.
When it loaded it was stretched out and I ha had to touch above the buttons to use them. Figuring it was just TWRP being silly I rebooted and now the whole phone is doing it. It's like the area it registers touch was shrunk. The pen works fine, and that's how I'm typing this now.
Any ideas on what happened/how to fix it? I've tried rebooting a few times, and changing the dpi.

If you can, try taking a backup using TWRP and then ODIN to stock to see if that changes anything.
