My chromecast plays video to youtube or Redbull Tv in this way. Screen mirroring is equal. What is the problem?

HDMI on your chromecast could be faulty. Tried with different CC?
my chromecast has always worked well. while playing a youtube video came out this defect.
However, wallpaper images are reproduced well. Is it a software problem?

Looks like faulty hardware, maybe memory gone bad.

Wowwee!! Its true. Watching the same videos on my PC and my phone, there is a clear difference. I use ytpocket.com for my kaiser, and get way better clarity than on my actual browser on my pc. What gives???
Some thoughts:
My screen resolution is exactly what youtube was designed for. (320x240)
I'm distorting things with me eyes!
I'm crazy, and have too much free time.
HTC decided to update my drivers, but not yours.
Needless to say, when I'm watching youtube on my phone, I feel pretty similar to how I imagine this guy feels all the time:

Discuss.
Most of it has to do with the resolution and screen size. Ever watched standard definition TV on an HDTV?
your laptop sucks?
Ahem..... I prefer to blame youtube. I'm a victim!
i recently installed dutty's hybrid rom. when i try to take a video i can record it but am either unable to play it back, or only able to hear audio. i tried the tcpmp video player and recording in h.263. when i played the videos back on my computer i either see a green or black screen with audio but no video. sometimes the videos show up as 3gp.
make sure you have the correct radio to match your rom, and try using quicktime to watch the videos as even vlc wont play the sound
how do i change my radio? will this wipe my device clean? i found the right radio, so can i just install it?
MOD Response: Just install it, It shouldn't change anything other then the radio. ~Jimmy
I recall this being an issue. I also recall it being covered in dutty's thread.
I pity the fool, who breaks the rule.

I dug out my 3GS that I only used for TomTom until the android version came out, and installed Netflix out of boredom (screen is a bit too small for movie use), I was surprised to see the Casting icon and that it connects to Chromecast

Why would you be surprised? iOS support is one of the main advertised features of the Chromecast. It supports the same Chromecast apps as Android, except for Google Play, which isn't allowed to play on iOS.
youtube should work too

Is nobody going to mention that dope ass chromecast name?
In the immortal words of Homer Simpson, Doh!...
It been touted since release.
Has anyone been testing Koush’s Mirror app?
I finally was able to get a successful screen cast to my pc, but getting it to connect takes some effort. I was able to connect using the Computer:Flash option.
Actually getting an stream to display in the browser was a combination of stopping the browser from loading, then going to the flowplayer window and pressing stop and play a few times. As you can see, when the phone is in a landscape orientation the mirror in window boxed in the player.
I’m getting about a 5-10 second lag between phone screen changes updating on the browser. Not sure what the frame rate is, but to slow for video. Has anyone been able to get the computer option to work? Or have any tips on how to get a repeatable connection?
Being able to stream video to a Chromecast from a MotoX would be a dream – not sure how likely this is as we don’t have the hardware VP8 encoder like the Nexus5.

I got the update last month, but since then i am facing a bug, please tell me if someone else is facing this too and what is the possible solution.
My audio mutes most of the time when i plays a video. This happens mostly with insta, Facebook reels or YouTube shorts. Whenever i swipe to next video, the audio muted. Then i have to pause the video and play it again to restore the audio.
It's not a big issue ( i hope ) but it is quite annoying.

also the screen flickers when 90hz is enabled. I'm thinking of switching to Xiaomi.eu rom.
