I have a question and maybe it is a silly one but don't judge please.
So here we go,
I have had an d802 for a couple months but it broke down, now I have b ought an vs980 but I really don't like the vs980 stock rom so my question is.
Can I install the stock rom opf the d802 in my vs980 or will it be bricked?
There may be a way. I do recall that sprint users used the T-Mobile Verizon software but it wasn't straight forward. I believe they had to do some things before they did it.

A guy sold me an ATT Moto X and he neglected to tell me it was rooted. So now I'm stuck with root that I don't really want on this phone. I tried using RSD Lite and the All in One Tool that was posted on here but nothing would work with my computer. So, now im just looking for a stock rom I could flash but I can't seem to find any on here for ATT. Any recomendations to fix this? Lastly, would flashing the 4.4 leak that was posted in the General section work? any help is appreciated.

As long as you are on 4.2.2 you should be able to rsd lite back to the most latest 4.2.2 firmware.
Either way, you can flash the 4.4 leak with fast boot
Moto X rocking 4.4

you probably are doing something wrong with flashing the stock FW. check the threads that talk about it and you should be fine. If you are running mac then there is a thread for that. if not then there is a thread for that as well. post in those threads with questions and you will get answers. i wouldn't take th 4.4 leak because you don't seem like you want to toy with your phone. It's possible that those people that took that leak might have to do a little or perhaps a lot of things to eventually take the real OTA. This has happened with other phones. You don't seem like you want to do that much tweaking so just go to those threads and ask questions there and explain what exactly you are doing and the errors you are getting.

Just to help you. Even 4.3 roms don't work for the ATT version due to the need of a new kernel. Until we find a way to replace the kernel we are pretty well jacked.
ok so do 4.2 asop work? i dont see much development in here
maybe i should exchange this for the Normal GS4 ?

There isn't any development for the att version. I had the original s4 before I traded for my Active. The original was laggy. The active is a better phone in my eyes. If I was you I would take it back and get the lg g2. My wife has one and I'm extremely jealous.

Until an exploit is found on both the regular S4 and the S4 Active you are limited to flashing TouchWiz-based ROMs because of the kernel limitation mentioned above. Currently the only way to flash AOSP-based ROMs is to purchase a phone with an unlocked bootloader (the international versions).
Your best bet is to use Safestrap.
Good day everyone, I just wanted to ask a question.
I am currently on 12b liquidsmooth rom on my vs980. I am interested in updating to 24a using the method mentioned on xdabebs vs98024a build. I am curious as to what the advantages and disadvantages are to updating to 24a. I've heard of things like better signal, but are there negatives attached with it? Are there other positives I should know about? Is there an easier way to update?
Thanks in advance for any helpful responses.

Hey xda im just wondering, i know theres a LG G3 rom for the Flex and yes i know its ported but, is it possible to flash G3 Roms to the flex?
i know the flex is just another variant of either the G2 or the G3 so i was wondering if its at all possible?
Please do not even try to flash a g3 rom on the flex. All its going to do is leave you with it expensive paperweight. And as for that g3 ported ROM, it was nothing but a bunch of apks and some xposed tweaks.
i wasnt gonna try it if i didnt know it could work for certain i know the consequences . but thanks
