im still new at this so can anyone help me, i am running either JM2/1 so is there a way of upgrading it without going through the ODIN way

[Q] 2.3.3 3G Problems Still

Does anyone have any idea how to fix the 3G problem when I am on 2.3.3 rom...I have 2.2 stock rom on my N1 at the moment and no problem picking up 3G.As soon as I update to anything above that 2.2.1,2.3.3 or 2.3.4 I get no 3g whatsoever..I know it is an ongoing problem but come on it should have been sorted by now..My phone is In Spain and I know the APN is correct.The radio is 5.08.00.08 Korean as far as I can remember...Any ideas?

[Q] Baseband

I was wondering if the baseband is unified like in my old Xperia x10a, i have a p990h right now, and i don't really know if these baseband posted here will mess with my data connection... i do know that for europe and america in general are different physical parts in the phone, but if the baseband are unified, i'll be able to use any firmware, and my data connection will work perfectly.

Baseband can improve call quality, yes.

network issuse with CM9 for galaxy s gt i9000.it showing NO NETWORK avalible.
any help

Check your baseband. Mine disappeared for a day and came back after I dropped it down a flight of stairs. by no means am I saying this will fix your problem but it solved mine try flashing a new modem.

Try to flash jvu or jw4 modem. These should fix your issue in Europe zone. Otherwise you have to look for branded modems in your area and try to flash one of them to get the best signal.

Just downgrade to 2.3.6 valuepack
The same one u flashed before goin to cm9..the same steps...that should solve..then root and update again...
