You're supposed to fastboot flash zip twice. The first time will fail with remote: 90 hboot pre-update because it updates the hboot first. The second time will flash the RUU. Although I have no idea what you did, but given that you apparently have 0 clue to what you're doing (because you might be a monkey just punching keys) i say you're f*cked. It looks like you tried to flash a GSM zip onto your CDMA HTC One and succeeded in flashing hboot only. Since you're S-ON, you are royally screwed since I think the GSM hboot will not recognize your partition layout and will refuse to boot. Don't think you can revert back with an official RUU either (no downgrades). Have fun with your new paperweight.
@ghul21 He is able to flash while S-ON because it looks like the zip is properly signed (otherwise I'm sure hboot would not have been updated in the first place anyways).
I have s-off yapmýs gave an error while loading custom ROMs and somehow deleted the s-off and locked for the first time this problem has happened to me

[Q] Another soft brick problem

I will start from the beginning. I messed up and wiped my htc one completely. (with no backup done prior)
SO after reading numerous threads/how to I still can not get anything to work.
I have been using toolkit v3.1 but the thing is my computer does not reconize my phone...well it will in fastboot mode but not in bootloader or twrp recovery so I cannot go into recovery to just install a new ROM.
So i have been trying to get it back to stock but I am getting the same error message.
So this is my info.

The guru reset file you downloaded appears to be the right one, the problem is, you flashing it the wrong way.
You must have TWRP recovery on your phone, the preferred and most reliable version is 2.6.3.3, then you must put that guru reset file on your internal storage and flash it from within TWRP recovery like you would do with a custom rom, select install in TWRP and then select the guru reset file, swipe to install and follow the instructions.

Got it working. found the thread where you basically change the CID to something else, then add a RUU for that CID then switch it back. Seems to be working now.

RUU Not working for my HK HTC M8

Hi All,
I hope someone can help me, I bought a phone with GPE rom, I mistakenly wiped the system partition, now BadBoyz rom would fail when trying to install.
I downloaded RUU and I'm getting an error 155 running the utility. I have been trying to flash
RUU_M8_WHL_M60_SENSE70_SPCS_MR_Sprint_WWE_Harman_6.20.654.3
I also tried downgrading to 4.25.654.14 version using the .zip image in Micro SD Card, but it would give me an error
"Device halted due to large image update fail"
I used this one 0P6BIMG_Sprint_HTC_One_M8_Harman_4.25.654.14_RUU
I have tried relocking bootloader, and run RUU again - no luck. I am able to unlock bootloader again though.
This is what I get with fastboot getvar all
I need to get it back to stock.

You have a H/K model "6.20.654.3"
You need non H/K model "6.20.651.3"
Did you first check md5 sum of the download, to see if you got a corrupt download.
