[Q] Power Button Ends Call - Stop it! - Verizon LG G2

Hi,
I have the latest LG G2 stock OS, rooted. The problem I'm having us that the power button automatically ends calls. I checked both the accessibility setting and call setting menus, and both have this feature disabled. I ran the phone in safe mode, and the issue persists.
How can I stop my phone from doing this? I unfortunately keep hanging up on people.

[Q] Will Froyo Fix the Blanking Screen When On Calls/Call Waiting/Hanging up?

My screen goes blank when I try and press the hangup button. I usually have to press the menu button to make it appear, just so I can hang up.
Also, when I get a call waiting call, my screen also goes blank and I have to press the menu button to get it back, just so I can accept the call.
Drives me crazy! I read that these were firmware issues- so I was hoping it would be fixed.
Also - my phone keeps on restarting in my pocket all the time. I know because I hear the introductory sound sporadically.
Does Froyo fix any of this?
Does anyone have an answer to this??
A firmware upgrade and a factory wipe will most likely fix those issues.
This is a common problem apparently. It was listed in Verizon's secret list of Galaxy S defects. I tried what you said, and it was not resolved with JH2 or a factory wipe.
Does anyone know if it is resolved with the new Froyo upgrade?

[Q] Dialer not working properly

Hey guys, I have a SGA S5830C, running 2.3.6
Yesterday I was going to call a contact and, when I touched the contact to select him, the phone has stopped responding. I had to remove the battery to turn it on.
Well, let's try again. Select the contact, started to call and, instead of showing the options screen after press the call button, the screen turned black, showing only the status bar and stopped responding again. Battery off, battery on, phone on again. The same. Tested several times with a friend who works with me.
I stopped using the phone until I go out the work. I went to my gf's house and tested several times again. Same issue all the times.
Reset the phone to factory settings didn't work. All wipe didn't work. Reinstall original rom (Claro BR), didn't work. Install original 2.3.6 w/o carrier customizations didn't work.
I have no idea what to do
Can somebody please help? :highfive:
Edit:
I forgot some information
The call is completed, even if nothing apears on screen, but I can't use the phone until I restart it.
When I recieve calls, I choose to answer the call and the options (end call, keypad, etc) appears. I can hear the person and he/she can hear me, but only they can end the call, cause the phone doesn't respond, freezed on the options' screen.

[Q] Screen not turning on after turning off?

Hi everyone,
So my issue is one that I don't see anywhere else, hence this thread. I'm not entirely sure if it's a hardware or software issue, and I'd like your help/suggestions (pls)
If I boot the phone via "normal startup" or whatever it is from fastboot mode, it boots. However, after I get into the OS, if I press the power key to take the screen off, and I press it again to turn it back on, it doesn't turn back on. The phone still operates - it receives calls, I hear all sounds, I can even tap by memory to get to different settings, but the screen won't turn on at all until I boot into fastboot and reselect the normal startup option.
I tried enabling tap to wake via custom kernel, reassigning the volume keys to turn it on, but it simply doesn't work. I get the same issue if I double tap to sleep (the top bar) and then double tap to wake. I don't know what else to try - any suggestions?
I'm wholly ready to just call it a loss (I already have a new Moto G) but it would be cool if I could somehow revive this one. The reason I decided not to use the warranty is because I was pretty sure it had already been voided since my mother dropped it in water. As I said, this may be a hardware issue, but I'm not entirely sure and I'd like your opinions/suggestions?
For reference, it had this issue while on stock as well. It ran the latest update Motorola had sent out. It's the XT1063.
Thanks in advance!

Volume down button and power button don't work

Hi All,
I'm having some issues with my OnePlus 3T. Earlier this week ago I noticed that my volume was randomly reducing {it always would reduce to a low setting but not mute} and at the same time I could not use the power button to turn the phone off or to put the phone to sleep. But if I double clicked the power button the camera app would load up like normal and nothing I did seem to effect the volume. Every time I increased it again a few seconds later it reduced.
So today I had gotten tired of the buttons not working and kept trying to restart the phone... after multiple tries I somehow managed to power off the phone. However instead of fixing the problem once it powered up it went straight into the boot menu and does not load up the OS at all. It keeps going into a bootloop.
I tried clearing the cash and booting in recovery mode... both did nothing and just continued the loop.
I'm not sure if I've damaged the volume down button only somehow {in the boot menu, the volume up button works fine and so does the power button but nothing happens when I click the volume down} or if it an issue with the most recent update.
Any assistance in this would be greatly appreciated.
I am facing the exact same issue.help me how to resolve it.

Question Home button often not responding

Hi there,
My home button often stops responding. It will appear pressed correctly but doesn't actually go home. Sometimes the back and switch window buttons also don't respond, but that's less common. This happens about once a day.
The screen is fine as the buttons visually change to show I've tapped them, but they simply do nothing.
I can always fix it by restarting. It's only been happening on 12.1 v61 firmware.
There's no physical damage to the phone, it's in mint condition.
Any ideas? Anyone else having this?
I'm hoping the next software update fixes it because it's super annoying.
Thanks!
Global power management will cause erratic behaviors. A 3rd party app, does it happen in safe mode? Any apps installed or uninstalled before this happened?
Clear the system cache if you have this option.
