Hi!
Yesterday I had a problem...look the picture in attachment. All photos appear that way! :crying: And is only the album "camera", only photos from the camera and don't the other photos that I have (from download, Bluetooth...)
What can I do?
Thanks!!!
Try to delete the cache for the gallery app. Or delete files in /data/data that has the name gallery or album in them and reboot.
If that's every single picture.... To me it seems like you have a rough app playing on your phone.

Can anybody provide a list of apps (e.g from LG) that is useless and can be safely removed in v10f? Thanks
What don't you want? You can get rid of anything that doesn't effect the uses of say the phone or system UI etc

Just a bit scared that it may not function properly if I remove builtin apps any how.

Just take care guys. For example, on mine, removing the "Maps" or "Navigation", makes that no other GPS works.

First froze them. If they don't make any difference being frozen you can uninstall them.
Like that, if you find yourself in trouble, just need to go back and un-froze them again.
For that I use Root Uninstaller Pro, is very easy to use. And you can combine with AntTek Explorer to delete the app directory or data directory.
AntTek Explorer is also good to see all the files that Polaris Office don't show, like Root, etc...
thanks!

Can anyone help me to understand why my "other" catagory in storage is taking up so much storage? I have one backup stored using MyBackup Pro but it's only 5.71gb in total space....
Does this mean the 42One rom I'm running is using 10gbs in space? Anything else that I can clear out to create space?
Other is the rom, backups ( titanium, nandroids ), could be any roms you have downloaded or put on your phone, pretty much everything except photos, videos, music and apps

First time facebook contact synchronized very well and contact picture were pretty well, but after few days many contacts have dots like below pic,
Plz give me solution
That's intentional.
Mine do that too, but if I select to use the G+ photo, it will clear it up. I think it has something to do with the size of the image when it initially syncs.
Click on the little camera icon when on the screen you showed (bottom right on the photo), and select the G+ option from there.

i also have this issue
the contact pics that synced from google+ have this,
maybe its coz of the phones 469ppi density that inferior old pics show like this?

and using a pic from my gallery solved this.
That's the way HTC made it. Every photo should have this filter as far as I know. There's a mod in the mods section to remove it.

When I moved from the galaxy 3 to this one I had the same iasue but if you select a new picture from your gallery it will be fine. My suspicion is that the galaxy 3 had a lower resolution vs this one.

Anyone have any ideas on a way to sync action memos with mac so I could view them on a mac? Hopefully automatically using either Dropbox or some other cloud service?

I think the only way to share any thing with action memo is manually. You have to click "share" and select Dropbox or something.
S note syncs with a Samsung account. I believe you can install a Samsung sync program on your Mac and access a lot of stuff on your phone, and vice versa.

Oh, this is the "general section". Next time you have a question please remember to post in the "Q&A section". You'll get more responses that way and have a better chance at getting your question answered.
Thanks .... maybe a moderator can move this post there?

I took drakey's advice and rebooted my devices but the problem was not resolved. I can not figure out what gsiff_daemon is for the life of me. Any ideas?

This should be in Q&A, but did you also do what he said about deleting a system app?
About the gsiff_daemon I think it may have something to do with motion. I couldn't begin to tell you how to fix it. That sounds like a question for @drakeymcmb

I tried but got this message.
Are you rooted? Hit me up on hangouts. I can solve this faster for you.
