If you have a unlocked bootloader, do not worry brick your phone. When I had bootloop enough flash stock ftf via flashtool. But remember, you do so at your own risk.
Sorry for my bad english.

Cryptic. You may as well run down the street screaming..."Sony Ericsson logo!..Heeeellp Meeee!!.." It will be as much help to you as the thread you posted.
You need to state what you did, what you used, what happened, before, after & during, more info the better. All i'm saying is help people help you.
No need to be shy, a tonne of people brick phones everyday
Just my 2 cents.

I think u flashed a custom rom for a custom kernel or ur baseband problem....u must state what u did

not sure if rooting will be the problem
You probably tried something else. No way bricking comes from rooting. Just try reflashing the rom

Install a stock kernel with recovery, then flash a stock rom for your device. Just check out the Development section for your Xperia and you'll find one

HI All.
Been a Galaxy S2 user for ages, and took the change to go to Z1 experia.
Now looking to root and om the phone.
I had done this on the GS2 for ages, and knew the process well.
How different is the rooting process on the Z1?
How do we install roms on the Z1, and to root the phone?
Do we flash a kernel with CWM for the Z1?
Any help appreciated,.
Cheers
Glen.

Hi there, what i did was unlocking the bootloader. As long as you do it carefully and follow instructions, dont skip any, it should be fine.
Firstly backup your data and stuff.
Next, flash .159 ftf, link here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2469191
Then root it with vroot.
After that backup your TA, link here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2292598&highlight=ta
Then go to sony's website and unlock your bootloader. Warning: your warranty will be voided.
After that flash supersu or a pre rooted rom. Lots of those on XDA.
If you need any help PM me. Just be careful
hit thanks if i helped

My xperia z c6603 can't upgrade from 4.2 to 4.3 please help me,,!!
first wrong selection, second than easy search on google for an custom rom which has a newer version or search for an factory image or an stock rom and than install it I think if you would try google you will also find a great instruction for you phone. But I think it is for you the easiest way to use the tool from sony which you can download anywhere on there website (sorry I don´t know where, I just know sony had made some thing like that) and with this tool you can easily update you phone if you don´t find any updates...But maybe sony don´t made any update :/ I hope I could help :/

why update to 4.3 when you have 5.1 official lollipop. Anyway if you want to install 4.3 download the right firmware (.ftf) and flash it with FlashTool, but remember that this flashing will delete all your data.
